Desperate to pay their electricity and water bills, this week Rhys and Reynolds turn to writer/director Kevin Smith.   In a bid to maintain some semblance of managerial responsibility, they look at Clerks and Zack & Miri Make A Porno, considering such key issues as being brought lasagne at work and and getting your hand stuck in a pringle can.

They take a left at the Crayon Ponyfish, follow the Fluorescent Snapper for 1.2 miles, and make an illegal U-turn at Bottle Rocket to arrive at The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. Will they finally find the elusive Wes Anderson (maybe with dynamite)?   Starring Owen Wilson and Bill Murray.

In pursuit of the perfect double-bill, Rhys & Reynolds compare two movies by the same screenwriter.    Join the discussion on Steven Conrad’s (over)use or voice overs, and whether man is defined by his achievements or by what’s sacrificed on the way.   Starring Will Smith and Ben Stiller.

Rhys and Reynolds take a journey with a questionable Tripadvisor rating. They'll be on safari around the Mosquito Coast being led by none other than Captain Fantastic! Joing them in performing a post-mortensen on jungle paradises with survivalist father figures Viggo Mortensen and Harrisson ford. It's sure to be the daddy of all episodes.

Rhys and Reynolds explore the tunnel in the cinematic woods that is Studio Ghibli, and emerge on the other side to explore a land where magic meets normality. Rhys tests his Ghibli trivia in the return of a Reynolds’ quiz, and they each argue their corner for best film by the studio...  As it turns out, they'll only agree when pigs can fly.

Struggling to remember what it means to be human, Rhys calls Reynolds from inside a wormhole this week (apologies for the sound quality) as they test a new podcast format while chatting about Christopher Nolan films.   Providing they can both overcome anterograde amnesia, this promises to be an Interstellar journey.
