1 Peter 5:8-14 Be vigilant, the devil is seeking to destroy you but remain steadfast in Christ for God is at work in your life, bringing you to glory.

Ecclesiastes - Receive God's good gifts through Jesus Christ and enjoy the life and labor that He's given you in this world.

1 Peter - You are to be humble as you interact with others, especially your elders, and humble before God, for only He can take care of you and exalt you in Christ.

Ecclesiastes - Pursuing pleasure in this world is doomed to failure because lasting pleasure can only be found in God.

1 Peter Jesus is the chief shepherd, and He has provided elders to shepherd you in your suffering according to His example.

Ecclesiastes Relying on your own reason and efforts to find truth will produce nothing but frustration and despair, but true, life-giving wisdom is found with God.

1 Peter - Suffering is real, so do not be surprised but rejoice, for as Christ suffered and then knew glory, so will you experience suffering and then glory.

Ecclesiastes - Apart from God's grace in Jesus, all your incessant activity accomplishes nothing.

As you wait for the end, your focus is that of godly conduct so that God is glorified, and Christ did this perfectly on your behalf.

Ecclesiastes addresses key questions about the meaning of life and shows you how to find true purpose and joy through a relationship with Jesus.

1 Peter 4:1-6 You are at war with sin and this involves suffering so follow Christ's example and be confident of God's verdict at the end.

Romans 7:14-25 Your battle with sin will never be over in this life, but that fact is meant to push you to greater and greater reliance on Jesus Christ.

In facing suffering, in feeling weak, remember Christ, he is victorious and he is reigning over all and so in him you too are victorious.

1 Peter Your certain hope is found in Christ and in his work. As you meditate on this it will motivate you to conduct holy lives.

2 Corinthians The church is the context for Jesus' power to work through human weakness. Examine yourself to see if that power is at work in you.

1 Peter You are more privileged than the prophets of old or the angels in heaven for the Holy Spirit has revealed His salvation in Christ to you. Respond to this privilege recognizing it is worth the suffering for the glory comes afterwards.

Jesus works in true Christian ministry to make it a place where you spend yourself for the spiritual well-being of others.

1 Peter - You are to rejoice for the living hope you have in Christ. For in Him you have new life, you receive a certain inheritance, and He even uses your trials to complete His work in you.

2 Corinthians Since Jesus's power works most effectively through your weakness, you need to embrace your weakness and rest in His power!

Be encouraged by knowing your identity as God's exiles and by God's grace and peace, you are not to live as if belonging to this world.

Corinthians Jesus paid a high price to minister to you, so you could have a Christ-centered ministry to others.

The Life of David- Christ secured you in his Kingdom by his obedience and by receiving your judgment so know his prospering by your obedience to His word.
