Sermon Title: How Can We Get a Bigger Picture of Faith?Main Scripture: Hebrews Synopsis: This Sunday we looked at how Hebrews calls us to a bigger, stronger faith as we step into Year 6 together. We explored three movements: Stir It Up — faith grows in community; Don't Shrink Back — we move forward by remembering God's past faithfulness; and Look Back to Look Forward — the heroes of Hebrews 11 remind us God is still faithful today. We closed with Hebrews 12:1–2, running with endurance and fixing our eyes on Jesus.November 30, 2025 • Matt Pye• • • • • • • •.• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Join us for service in person and online every Sunday at 10am (MST) at the City Life Community Center in Missoula, MT. And we're back! After a nice, long, 4-day Thanksgiving weekend, we are back in the studio and turning the page on the calendar to December! Which means a list of things to look forward to in the upcoming month, including movie releases, TV premieres, sporting events, and all the holidays! Speaking of holidays, we started the show by recapping our Thanksgiving celebrations with our families and talking about all that snow we got this past weekend. In sports, the Bucks finally won a game this weekend after losing seven in a row, the Pack got a nice victory on Turkey day, a look at the rest of the Week 13 action, Josh Allen setting an NFL record yesterday against the Steelers, and a recap of the Badger basketball action from the last few days. Elsewhere in sports, several coaching positions in the NCAA have been filled as the season draws to a close, and if you're living in the area of Chicago…the coach of the Bears earned you a free Wiener tomorrow at the Wiener Circle! We let you know what's on TV today/tonight and we discussed how much money Mariah Carey makes every year on her massive Christmas hit, "All I Want For Christmas Is You". Today is apparently the last day to eat your Thanksgiving leftovers before they start to spoil! Check out this story about a mail carrier that helped save a guy's life last year & just celebrated Thanksgiving with his family, and take a look at this story about an animal shelter in Philly that had a great feast on turkey day for all their adoptable animals! And in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a guy who got into an argument at Thanksgiving & burned his family's house down, a viral video of a Thanksgiving table that decided it was no longer going to participate, a guy in Maine who broke into an apartment & opened all their Christmas gifts before taking a nap on their couch, and apparently nude cruises are becoming more & more popular.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Fannie Flagg grew up in Birmingham, Alabama, where she had close family ties to the Irondale Cafe, a restaurant that's still serving fried chicken, creamed corn, and of course…fried green tomatoes. The beloved local spot was run by her aunt, Bess Fortenberry, and served as inspiration for her 1987 novel Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe, which she also adapted for the famous 1991 film. It was no accident that Fannie found success in the movie business. Both her father and grandfather worked as motion picture machine operators, which exposed Fannie to the magic of films at a young age. It also gave her just enough knowledge to bluff her way into running the spotlight at the local theater, where she eventually became both a performer and a writer. Now she's out with her eleventh book, Something to Look Forward To, a collection of short stories featuring a lot of the quirky Southern characters she's known for. Sid talks to Fannie about her early days in Birmingham, her very funny grandmother, and the upcoming movie adaptation of her novel, A Redbird Christmas. In this episode, Coach Matt takes a reflective look at the 2025 landscape season — what went right, what got delayed, and how life's curveballs (like equipment breakdowns and tight weather windows) reshaped the year's plans. From building bridges and garden boxes to battling cattails and gravel drives, he shares the lessons learned and how reflection fuels next year's goals.   This episode isn't just about projects — it's about momentum, priorities, and pride in doing things yourself. Whether you're wrapping up your own DIY season or dreaming about next year's plans, this one's packed with motivation to keep your landscape — and your mindset — moving forward.

Happy Hump Day!!!! Just a few more sleeps until Halloween. Speaking of Halloween, we ran down a list of the top Pop-Culture costumes of 2025 and which horror movie you should watch based on your Zodiac sign. In the news, nobody won the Mega Millions drawing last night, Hurricane Melissa continues to batter Jamaica, and we might get contacted by aliens today. In sports, the Blue Jays bounced back last night in Game 4 of the World Series, the Bucks beat the Knicks, a Penguins fan suffered life-threatening injuries after falling from the upper level of their arena, and a look at Week 9 of the NFL. Elsewhere in sports, some interesting stats from the epic Game Three of the World Series. With Week 9 kicking off tomorrow, we made our Pigskin Picks this morning. And we also discussed the latest trend on TikTok…something called "Bird Theory". We talked about the Fat Bear contest a few weeks ago, and now a parks department in Texas just conducted the first ever Fat Squirrel Week! Cool kid from the Philly area raised a bunch of money for his town's K-9 unit. And check out this incredible video of officers near Fort Worth saved a child's life after it was pinned underneath an overturned car. New month starts on Saturday, so we gave you a list of things to look forward to in the month of November. And in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a #FloridaMan who got busted for smashing a bunch of pumpkins at Target, a truck carrying a bunch of aggressive lab monkeys crashed and now they're on the loose, a guy who shot his neighbor because he thought she was over-feeding her horse, A Chinese family sued their daughter's school after the child was diagnosed with "acute and transient psychotic disorder" that was allegedly caused by a HORROR movie she had watched in class, the wild dogs at Chernobyl are apparently turning blue, and a #FloridaWoman who might be the worst criminal in the world.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
