Click this link to subscribe on your favorite player: https://essential-english.captivate.fm/listenIn the meantime, enjoy this sample episode!--Learn the English expression, "Expression: Look forward to"Are you happy or excited about something in the future? If so, you're "looking forward to" itYou can look forward to an event, an activity, or even a time of year. If you have plans to see a movie this weekend, you can say, "I'm looking forward to seeing the movie." That means you're happy about it.If it's just been a long, cold winter, you might even say, "I'm looking forward to the warm weather." That means, you'll be happy when the weather gets warmer. What about if something will happen and you're not happy about it? Just say you're not looking forward to it. "I'm not looking forward to this party." That means, the party is coming...but you don't want to go.So remember: "look forward to" is all about the way you feel about something that's coming in the future.--Like this episode? Last day of the week for me…then I'm off to Nashville for Metallication! The storms in La Crosse weren't nearly as bad as the forecasts were predicting. More rain possible in the area on Thursday. In the news this morning, a former WI prison warden is ordered to pay a fine in the death of an inmate, Governor Tony Evers announced a new lawsuit against the Trump administration, a judge in Wisconsin has delayed the release of one of the "Slender Man" girls, the WIAA has approved NIL deals for high school students, and a man in Tomah is arrested for attempted homicide. In sports, the Brewers start a 3-game series against the White Sox in Chicago tonight, Damian Lillard tore his achilles and might be out for ALL of next season, a recap of last night's NBA & NHL action, and a look at tonight's playoff schedules. Elsewhere in sports, some penalties announced by NASCAR following Sunday's race at Talladega, and the Trump administration said that the University of Pennsylvania violated Title IX by allowing a transgender swimmer to compete on the women's team. We let you know what's on TV today and what's new on New Release Tuesday. And we spoke to Grant Bilse from the Wisco Sports Show. Plus, a list of things to look forward to in the month of May! Couple of viral videos from the last few days…one is a mailman who returned some money he found in the driveway of one of the houses on his route, and another is a woman who painted her cousin's nails before she was taken off life support. In today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a bank robber who got busted by his rental car, an inmate who escaped jail with just two days left on his sentence, a baby that nearly bled to death from a circumcision, a family is suing a school district after their child committed suicide, and a neighborhood in Seattle is upset about RAMPANT masturbation in a city park.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Visiting the doctor can be a straightforward and positive experience with a few simple habits, some you may not even notice you are doing. One effective approach is to communicate clearly and concisely—share your concerns honestly without overwhelming detail. This respects the physician's time and ensures they can address your needs efficiently. Additionally, arriving punctually demonstrates consideration for the schedule, fostering a calm and productive appointment for both you and the healthcare team. Preparation also plays a key role in maintaining a smooth interaction. Consider noting a few key symptoms or questions in advance to stay focused during the discussion, while avoiding excessive documentation that might complicate the conversation. Offering a polite greeting or brief acknowledgment to the staff can further enhance the atmosphere, building a collaborative tone. These small steps create a respectful, efficient dynamic that benefits everyone involved.
