Happy Hump Day!!!! Just a few more sleeps until Halloween. Speaking of Halloween, we ran down a list of the top Pop-Culture costumes of 2025 and which horror movie you should watch based on your Zodiac sign. In the news, nobody won the Mega Millions drawing last night, Hurricane Melissa continues to batter Jamaica, and we might get contacted by aliens today. In sports, the Blue Jays bounced back last night in Game 4 of the World Series, the Bucks beat the Knicks, a Penguins fan suffered life-threatening injuries after falling from the upper level of their arena, and a look at Week 9 of the NFL. Elsewhere in sports, some interesting stats from the epic Game Three of the World Series. With Week 9 kicking off tomorrow, we made our Pigskin Picks this morning. And we also discussed the latest trend on TikTok…something called "Bird Theory". We talked about the Fat Bear contest a few weeks ago, and now a parks department in Texas just conducted the first ever Fat Squirrel Week! Cool kid from the Philly area raised a bunch of money for his town's K-9 unit. And check out this incredible video of officers near Fort Worth saved a child's life after it was pinned underneath an overturned car. New month starts on Saturday, so we gave you a list of things to look forward to in the month of November. And in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a #FloridaMan who got busted for smashing a bunch of pumpkins at Target, a truck carrying a bunch of aggressive lab monkeys crashed and now they're on the loose, a guy who shot his neighbor because he thought she was over-feeding her horse, A Chinese family sued their daughter's school after the child was diagnosed with "acute and transient psychotic disorder" that was allegedly caused by a HORROR movie she had watched in class, the wild dogs at Chernobyl are apparently turning blue, and a #FloridaWoman who might be the worst criminal in the world.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Always great to talk to him! We also discussed some things to look forward to in the month of October as we officially turn the page in our calendars. Plus, our Week 5 Pigskin Picks for the upcoming NFL schedule. We let you know what's on TV today/tonight. Talked about the trailer for the new BBC documentary about Ozzy Osbourne, and we heard about the largest win in "Wheel of Fortune" history! America rules supreme when it comes to cheese, thanks to a woman from Philly! And check out this wildlife photographer who's made it his mission to help rehome hermit crabs that are currently living in trash instead of a seashell. In sports, we talked about yesterday's kickoff to the MLB Wild Card round, looked at the schedule for the NFC North teams, and we also chatted about the NCAA Women's Final Four making the move to Indy. Plus, the Vegas Aces beat the Indiana Fever to move on to the WNBA Finals, and Kirill & the MN Wild agree to a massive contract extension. And in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a couple that's getting divorced because their pets cannot get along, a robbery suspect who was arrested when a news crew doing a story about the robbery he allegedly committed spotted him, a couple in Rhode Island who both got arrested for DUI on the same night...two hours apart, and the latest from Sheriff Grady Judd.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

There's just over one week until Climate Week NYC begins Sept. 21, and we're diving into what to expect from the conference in a volatile year for climate action in the US.   The week includes more than 900 events across the city hosted by a range of organizations — including The Nest Climate Campus, where the All Things Sustainable podcast will again be an official media partner. Register free to attend here.    In today's episode, we're talking with Britton Jones, Founder and CEO of The Nest Climate Campus. He discusses topics that will be in focus during Climate Week NYC and how the climate landscape has evolved this year.  "There's a real emphasis on substance coming into Climate Week 2025,” Britton says.  Launched in 2009, Climate Week NYC convenes business leaders at the same time that government leaders and NGOs are in New York City for UN General Assembly meetings. This means many decisionmakers from the public and private sectors are in town at a key moment, just two months before the UN's annual Climate Change Conference of the Parties, known as COP. This year, COP30 will take place in Brazil Nov. 10-21.  You can learn more about the event S&P Global will host at Climate Week NYC on Wednesday, Sept. 24, here: Climate Week NYC | S&P Global  Check out cohost Lindsey Hall's appearance on the Look Forward podcast from S&P Global: Look Forward | Episode 8: Confronting Climate Challenges | S&P Global  And listen to our interview with the CEO of two major investor networks in Asia-Pacific representing trillions of dollars of assets under management globally — the Asia Investor Group on Climate Change (AIGCC) and the Investor Group on Climate Change (IGCC): CEO of major Asia-Pacific investor networks: ‘Climate risk is investment risk' | S&P Global  This piece was published by S&P Global Sustainable1 and not by S&P Global Ratings, which is a separately managed division of S&P Global.     Copyright ©2025 by S&P Global    DISCLAIMER    By accessing this Podcast, I acknowledge that S&P GLOBAL makes no warranty, guarantee, or representation as to the accuracy or sufficiency of the information featured in this Podcast. (00:00-28:05) – Query & Company opens on a Wednesday with Jake once again stressing the importance of having deep cornerback room after Indianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steichen announced Jaylon Jones will be “out for a while” and Charvarius Ward is in the concussion protocol. Then, IndyStar Colts beat reporter Joel Erickson joins the show to discuss the health of the cornerback room and questions surrounding Johnathan Taylor’s rest he received last week. Also, what were the biggest differences between a Daniel Jones offense and an Anthony Richardson offense? (28:06:38:33) – Jake explains why Bill Belichick and the story on him banning NFL scouts from the North Carolina program will affect their ability to get recruits. It reminds him of another collegiate program in Indiana that had the same issue. (38:34-45:44) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake explaining some unwritten rules to live by and if parents should let kids get foul balls. (45:45-1:08:52) – The second hour of the show opens with Jake relating fantasy football teams to how the Colts are having to operate in their cornerback room. Shane Steichen gave voice to the questions surrounding the position group today and Jake reacts to his comments. Jake also combs through Steichen’s “coach speak” and how reading between the lines of his quotes is important. (1:08:53-1:16:05) – We’re month out from Pacers basketball, and the expectations have changed dramatically since this time last year. Jake shows the similarities between the Fever and the Pacers due to the personnel changes and flow of their respective seasons. (1:16:06-1:26:25) – The second hour of the show concludes with Jake readings texts from the listeners and explaining why the Fever deserve to be commended for the way they’ve overcome obstacles this season. In what ways can the Pacers do the same thing this year? (1:26:26-1:49:26) – To open the final hour, Jake answers what the burning question is for the Pacers this year. Is Benedict Mathurin going to take a leap this year? What will that mean for his future for the Pacers? The Colts also have a burning question that still needs answered at the quarterback position. Shane Steichen had the answer to it all along. That same answer is also the solution to the injury problem in the Colts cornerback room. (1:49:27-2:04:49) – Indiana Fever TV analyst Debbie Antonelli joins the show to give an update on how the team is examining their regular season before they head into the postseason. Jake also presses on the challenges of coaching in the professional ranks in today’s game and how down to the detail head coach Stephanie White needs to be for the Fever to be successful. Kelsey Mitchell wrapped up an incredible regular season last night and Debbie examines why she deserves more praise for it. Lastly, Debbie explains what she expects the Fever to adjust heading into the playoffs and explain Unified Sports and how it brings special needs students with other students. (2:05:50-2:07:20) – Today’s show closes out with Jake handing it off to JMV and previewing what’s on his show!
