When we step into life with Jesus, we are invited to see differently, to think differently, and to live differently. Scripture tells us that we now have “the mind of Christ,” but what does that actually mean for our everyday lives? In this message, we explore how shifting our perspective to align with Christ reshapes the way we think, feel, and respond to the world around us. Learning to see through His lens brings peace in the middle of chaos, hope where there was once despair, and clarity for walking out our faith in a confusing world. As you listen, we encourage you to open your heart to the Spirit's work of renewal—transforming your thoughts, strengthening your mental health, and grounding you in a biblical perspective that leads to life. The more we take on the mind of Christ, the more we begin to look like Him, think like Him, and love like Him in all that we do.

Having The Mind Of Christ by Kendall FoxPhilippians 2:1-51 Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, 2 make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose. 3 Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility consider one another as more important than yourselves; 4 do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. 5 Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus,

What does it mean to have the mind of Christ—and how does His creativity shape the way we live? In this episode, Pastor Darrell explores the first two aspects of the Creative Mind of Christ: His nature as a purposeful Creator and the evidence of His creativity in teaching, problem-solving, and redeeming brokenness. Through biblical insight and vivid illustrations, you'll see how Jesus' unconventional methods and Spirit-led imagination reveal a God who delights in bringing life, beauty, and redemption into the world. If you've ever felt stuck in old patterns or wondered how faith and creativity work together, this episode will inspire you to think more like the Creator Himself.

The Mind of Christ | Philippians 5:2-8 | Dr Jamie Merritt
Jesus is the "light of the world" who gives us the "light of life." Christian life is a process of continual identification with Christ. The effort to do this is not just behavioral modification but, perhaps more fundamentally, intellectual conversion. To convert is to see things as Christ does, to come to have "the mind of Christ" as St. Paul puts it. This is our defense against the "wiles of the devil" and a key to sharing in Christ's love.
Pastor Jose teaches that not every thought you think originated with you. When you’re tempted with a thought, rely on the mind of Christ. Audio>
EVERYDAY DISCIPLES S1:E7 Following the way of Jesus in everything, everywhere, every day. "And Jesus said to them, 'Follow me, and I will make you become fishers of men.'” - Mark 1:17 Welcome back to the Everyday Disciples podcast, where we discuss what it means to follow the way of Jesus in everything, everywhere, every day. This month, we are talking about what it means to selflessly serve. SHOW NOTES SERVICE BEGINS WITH HUMILITY: Philippians 2:3-4 reminds us, “but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. 4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.” In humility, with lowliness of mind, elevate the significance of those around. It was C.S. Lewis who said, “True humility is not thinking less of yourself, it's thinking of yourself less.” So give people weight and meaning, do not ignore them. Look to the interests of those around you. If you wanted to begin to see an improvement in your relationships, whether it be friendships, marriage, parenting, or with your parents. Begin to give those in your life weight, and don't always make it about you. WHAT IS OUR EXAMPLE OF SERVICE: Dietrich Bonhoeffer once said, “When Jesus calls a man, he bids him come and die.” To follow Jesus is not to seek your own greatness. It is to die to yourself that you may truly live in Him. The example of our Lord is to serve and give our lives away. On the night that Jesus was betrayed, when He gathered his disciples, the task that was reserved for the last and the least, He took upon Himself and washed their feet. When there was an uproar over this, Jesus explained His actions, and in explaining his actions, he made it clear that we are to follow in His way of serving. PRACTICE FOR THE MONTH: Serve. Ask God to help you die to yourself daily so that you may serve those around you and do something for someone with no expectation of return. Everyday Disciples is a production of Crossroads Church located in Grass Valley, California.
Josh Hussung preaches from Philippians 2. In Philippians 2, Paul emphasizes the importance of unity among believers. He teaches that true unity comes when the church adopts the mindset of Jesus—one of humility and selfless service, ultimately seen in His death on the cross. When local congregations reflect this same attitude by humbly serving one another, their unity brings glory to God and becomes a powerful witness to the transforming power of the Gospel. Grace Community Church exists to build spiritually healthy people for ministry in the world. One of the ways that we pursue this mission is by gathering each Sunday for corporate worship, prayer, and biblical teaching. The corporate nature of this gathering is both edifying to the believer and a witness of God's grace to the world. Sermon speaker is Scott Patty unless otherwise noted.

Helen was taught that she no longer needs mind renewal because she has the mind of Christ. We do have the mind of Christ. But the Bible also tells us that our mind is constantly being renewed. So how do these two ideas fit together? In this episode, I address Helen's confusion and clarify what's going on as we learn and grow in Christ.
