This is our first episode with a K1 fighter. I stumbled into Ognyan as I saw his post on WAKO Instagram about The World Games. His mentality was truly inspiring. Ognyan experienced a serious injury that required surgery only 3 weeks before the world championships in 2019. With help from his coach, he managed to come back even stronger, despite facing the hardest battle in his athletic career. His bond with his coach is very special. We talk about it in the episode, and about coach-fighter relationships in general. Then of course we talk about The World Games event that is just around the corner. How to prepare for such a big event as a kickboxer, and how to build a strong team around you. Besides that, Ognyan works in cyber security which made me curious, so we talked a bit about it in the end. I love hearing from you guys! So, PLEASE DM me, email me or send me a message in a bottle so I can hear your thoughts.

I break down training for you, and you will be surprised how little you actually train in a 1,5-hour training session in your kickboxing gym. I am sure you will not mind spending extra time in the gym after listening to this episode. In my fifth and final argument, I compare digging gold with becoming a better point-fighting kickboxer.
