What if the secret to scaling a successful franchise wasn't just about systems and sales but about mindset, discipline, and speaking a bold vision into existence? In this episode, Jeff Dudan, Founder and CEO of Homefront Brands and former founder of AdvantaClean, shares how scrappy beginnings and servant leadership shaped his journey from painting apartments in college to leading a multi-brand franchise platform projected to generate more than $100 million in sales this year. Jeff's story is a masterclass in resilience, clarity, and purpose-driven growth. He reveals how lessons from athletics such as consistency, coaching, and repetition translate directly into franchise success, and why he believes every leader should train like a “business athlete.” You'll hear how he scaled AdvantaClean to 220+ locations, the mindset shift behind his Homefront Brands platform, and the one exercise that helps leaders communicate their vision so powerfully, people can't help but follow it.Jeff also dives into the power of relational leadership, how trust, empathy, and specificity create unbreakable franchise systems and why great founders don't just manage transactions; they build movements. So, whether you're an emerging brand or a seasoned franchisor, this conversation will challenge how you lead, coach, and grow.Connect with Jeff:Homefront Brands: https://homefrontbrands.comLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeffdudan/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jeffdudan/Podcast: Unemployable with Jeff Dudan Book: Discernment: The Business Athlete's Regimen for a Great Life Through Better Decisions (Free copy via Linktree on Instagram)Watch: Jeff's Undercover Boss episode (free Vimeo link available in his LinkedIn video carousel)Episode Highlights:From scrappy beginnings to national franchise growthThe story behind building and selling AdvantaCleanHow Hurricane Andrew changed Jeff's path to franchisingServant leadership vs. transactional leadershipWhy values-based hiring is the cornerstone of great brandsThe “business athlete” mindset for franchise successBuilding Homefront Brands and scaling across multiple verticalsHow to speak a bold and powerful future into existenceThe primacy-recency principle for leadership impactBalancing empathy, accountability, and outcomesWhy specificity drives consistency in franchise systemsLessons from selling to private equity and scaling againConnect with Tracy Personal LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/tracy-panase/ JBF LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/company/jbfsale JBF Franchise System - https://jbfsalefranchise.com/ Email: podcast@jbfsale.com Connect with Shannon Personal LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/shannonwilburn/ JBF LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/company/jbfsale Website - https://shineexecutivecoaching.com/ Email - shannon@shineexecutivecoaching.com

In this episode, you're listening to a full, unedited recording of a one-time performance coaching session with my client Chantelle. She came into the session with specific questions about her life and career- feeling stuck in her job, underpaid without a formal degree, and navigating new financial pressure after her husband was laid off.During her 3-month leave from work, she was splitting her time between professional courses and a nutrition certification, unsure what direction to focus on. Together, we cut through the overwhelm and built a clear, practical plan to create more income and bring structure into her days with purpose. You'll hear exactly how a session like this unfolds from clarifying her core goal of financial freedom to mapping out next steps and making strategic decisions based on the skills she already has. After the call, she received a detailed written recap with a focused action plan- the same structure every client gets after a one-time session. We talk about:* How to leverage the skills you already have to build new income streams* The direct conversation to have with your boss to get a raise without relying on overtime* Which certifications are actually worth your time and money* How to use daily non-negotiables to build structure without a rigid schedule* Why monetizing a personal training certification is harder than using existing accounting expertiseIf you've ever wondered what performance coaching actually looks like, this episode is your inside look.If this resonates, take the next step: DM me or book your complimentary Coffee & Goals consultation here:

Unser Gehirn will Fehler vermeiden und hält uns dadurch in alten Mustern gefangen.

Doch was passiert, wenn Alkohol ins Spiel kommt?

Ever catch yourself crushing in business…but low-key running on fumes? Like you're pushing hard, but your body's throwing quiet warnings you can't quite decode? In this episode of The Happy Hustle Podcast, I'm resharing a powerful Guest Guru training from inside The Happy Hustle Club—our private community featuring Justin Roethlingshoefer, Celebrity Health Expert and Founder of Own It Coaching. Justin doesn't sell hacks; he engineers paradigm shifts. His mission: help leaders stop sacrificing health for the mission and start running their bodies like their business.Justin's story is raw and real. As a kid, he battled both obesity and anorexia and even faced liver and kidney failure at 16. That pain turned into purpose: two undergrads, a master's, pro hockey, a doctorate's worth of research on sleep and heart rate variability (HRV), plus deep training in functional medicine and cellular healing. He went on to become Director of Player Performance in the NHL, then stepped away after a personal health scare (precancerous polyps and a bleeding ulcer) to build Own It Coaching with his wife—a 50-person team now guiding 3,500+ high-performing founders and creators. They even built “The Health Haven” in Miami to show people how to live differently, daily. Why it matters: Justin is the rare coach who blends faith, science, and systems so your health outcomes become inevitable, not accidental. Here's what you'll learn in a nutshell:HRV is the language of your body. A higher HRV = better adaptation to stress.Oxygen is step one. VO₂ max isn't just for athletes—it's a wellness vital.Sleep is your detox system. Quality beats quantity.Fix the base before the boosters. Symptoms (low T, poor sleep, brain fog) rarely mean you “need more hormones.” Hormones open pathways; vitamins, minerals, and amino acids create the raw materials.Consistent + intentional behaviors over time = inevitable outcomes. If you're ready to go deeper and hear Justin's full training—the stories, the frameworks, and the practical protocols—hit play on the episode and let's level up your health, leadership, and longevity together. In this episode, Kris Plachy opens the door to a new conversation—one that's been quietly forming behind the scenes. This isn't a pivot away from leadership. It's a leap into deeper truth. She speaks directly to the woman who's questioning what's next: The one who can't imagine walking away, but can't imagine staying the same. The one who keeps showing up for her business, but secretly wonders if it's still hers to love. The one who has succeeded by every metric but still lies awake at night asking, “Who am I now?” It's time to meet her—the woman beyond the CEO. Here's what we explore The raw emotional terrain of success that no one prepares you for Why so many Gen X founders are hearing a whisper they can't ignore The difference between leaving a business and leaving yourself behind And how to start writing the next chapter—without rushing the ending of this one If you've built a beautiful business but you're starting to dream in a new direction, Kris made this episode for you. This is your invitation to the age era. And Kris will meet you there. Contact Information and Recommended Resources Join me in Sonoma in August so we can meet in person! What do Cristiano Ronaldo, LeBron James... and astronauts have in common? They're all using the same training technology, blood flow restriction (BFR). In this episode, host Richard Graves back Dr. Warren Bradley, Chief Science Officer and founder of Hytro, to unpack how BFR is transforming the way athletes train, recover, and even how astronauts prepare for life in space. You'll learn: What blood flow restriction actually is, and how it helps build strength, muscle, and endurance faster (with less load on your body). Why BFR is no longer just for injury rehab, and how pro athletes are using it to boost performance and speed up recovery. The science behind why restricting blood flow (safely!) creates powerful training adaptations. How Warren's product ended up on a SpaceX rocket, and why NASA now uses BFR to fight muscle loss in space. Common myths and misconceptions about BFR… including whether it's safe (spoiler: it is, with the right approach). Where BFR is heading next, from grassroots athletes to medical rehab and even everyday gym-goers. Warren also shares his incredible journey, from working in the Premier League to founding a company used by over 260 elite teams worldwide, all the way to collaborating with NASA for space missions. This is one of those episodes that blends cutting-edge science with real-world application. Whether you're a coach, athlete, or just a performance fanatic, this one's a must-listen. About Dr. Warren Bradley Dr. Warren Bradley is the Founder and Chief Science Officer of Hytro, the world's leading performance Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) company. With over a decade of experience in professional sports, including roles with Premier League football clubs and international rugby teams, Dr. Bradley has a rich background in sports science. He holds a PhD in Exercise Physiology from Liverpool John Moores University and has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications in the field. Gatemaster believes technology is part of the experience, transforming every touchpoint into an opportunity. Imagine seamless online booking, effortless mobile ordering, and data-driven insights at your fingertips. Ready to revolutionize your guest journey and maximize revenue? Power your attraction with Gatemaster. Discover the future at Gatemaster.com.   Sondra Shannon is the Chief Executive Officer, and Jake Shannon is the Chief Growth Officer of Gatemaster Technology. With decades of combined experience in operations, business strategy, and technology, Sondra and Jake lead a company that has supported attractions for over 30 years. Gatemaster started as a point-of-sale software provider and has evolved into a full-service solutions partner for attractions of all sizes. In this interview, Sondra and Jake talk about performance coaching, revenue strategy, and technology integration. Performance Coaching “Success is your duty to make sure that your business is protected and that you are growing so that you have generations to pass this on to.” Jake shares how his exposure to performance coaching through Grant Cardone led to a transformational shift in both his personal and professional life. After becoming Cardone's top-ranked coach out of 700 worldwide, Jake applied high-performance business principles to Gatemaster, helping nearly double its revenue. Sondra was so inspired by the results that she and COO Tiffany Blair began their own coaching journey to better serve the attractions they work with. They believe that coaching—more than managing—is the key to unlocking growth, developing leaders, and driving revenue across the industry. Revenue Strategy “We increased revenue by $150,000 between March and May with no new capital investment or labor investment—just strategy.” One of the most impactful themes discussed was helping attractions rethink their revenue opportunities by packaging what they already offer in new ways. Sondra explains how creating family bundles, date night deals, and themed packages for a mini-golf client led to a major uptick in revenue with no added cost. By reframing how products are presented and communicating availability clearly (without feeling like an “upsell”), Gatemaster helps clients personalize the guest journey and maximize spend from the first interaction. Technology Integration “We're now asking ourselves all the time—who's got the kind of problems we can help solve, rather than who can I sell this system to?” As a company that's been serving attractions since 1994, Gatemaster combines technical expertise with operator experience. Sondra and Jake explain how the company has evolved beyond traditional software, adding managed services to help clients navigate staffing shortages, tool fatigue, and operational complexity. Their technology is grounded in business logic and human-centered design—something that traces back to founder Steve, a chiropractor who built systems around ergonomic functionality. With many clients staying on for over a decade, the long-term relationships reflect Gatemaster's philosophy of service, customization, and genuine partnership.
