Ever wondered why the average introvert acts the way they do (according to some extroverts, 'weird' cuts it)? In this episode, I react to misconceptions the average person (imposing extroverts) has about introverts. At least, according to an article by Verywell Mind. In this thirty-five-minute audio of acknowledging some fairly questionable misinterpretations such as being rude; others bizarre like agoraphobia. I can't promise it doesn't include my teenage self rambling and talking out of the topic. However, I can promise it's a very lighthearted episode, and just me cackling with laughter will get you out of whatever down mood you're in. With the occurrence of hurdles in life comes most of us crashing in our mental health and it certainly was no different in TBO's case. Having witnessed consecutive traumatic experiences, body dysmorphia became a friend to the Nigerian teenager. In this episode, podcaster and YouTuber, Teni shares the struggles he had with his body image when his body dysmorphia surfaced two years ago after some majorly cathartic events in his life. He certainly leaves no topic unturned as he discusses the general popularity of body image issues in males, the drift in his faith in Jesus that occurred as a result of this experience, and the need to foster an atmosphere of body neutrality as opposed to body positivity. You need not tell me twice, this episode is heavily packed but hardly one to skip. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/coask/message

In this episode, I share my personal experiences with sexual harassment, the guilt and shame I felt afterward as well as the mental scarring I still carry. I also touch on how this cancerous culture is constantly improved by the media through the portrayal of gendered violence, trivializing sexual abuse, and much more with no form of accountability. If you've listened to episode one of season one, titled, Chronicles of Being Ugly, you'd know colorism was an overarching theme in the reason I thought I was ugly. In this episode, I delve into how the media perpetuates a false lens through which we view other skin tones: be it by representing various stereotypes or by bashing people based on their skin color. I also didn't fail to mention the role black people (a considerable amount of dark skin men), play in this with the projection of their self-loathing mentality. So whether you've been called a gorilla because of your beautiful black skin or whether you've been cultured to think dark bones shouldn't mix because you want a 'brighter' future, this episode is for you. Again, these thirty-five minutes of me talking to myself contain very cringeworthy memes so please brace yourself. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/coask/message

We've all been asked 'What do you want to be when you grow up,' at one point in our lives; be it in our early days at kindergarten or even late in our 20's and while I'm aware that this question, is intended to create a sense of self-awareness in the person it's directed to, I deem it very tiring. In this episode, you'll get a very clear view of my stance on why this question is not only awkward and mundane but also an insight into how confused I am and why it's okay for me to be confused. So while this episode is below 20 minutes, it's very straight to the point and clearly one you don't want to miss.
