Unreal Results for Physical Therapists and Athletic Trainers
In this episode of the Unreal Results podcast, I sit down with physical therapist and LTAP™ alum, Greg Moe, to explore how he's using the LTAP™ framework with a completely different population than my own: older adults.Greg shares his journey from relying on trial-and-error treatments to finding a clear, principle-based system that gives him confidence and helps him stand out in both clinical practice and business. You'll hear why the LTAP™ has been a game changer for him, not just in restoring movement and relieving pain, but in helping clients regain hope.We also talk about how Greg adapts LTAP™ principles for an older population where traditional inhibition tests or mobility measures aren't always reliable, and why stepping back to see the body through a whole-systems lens changes everything. Greg shares some incredible case stories, from stubborn knee pain that resolved after addressing the rib cage, to dramatic posture changes in patients who had “structural” limitations that weren't so fixed after all.Whether you're working with older adults, active clients, or anyone in between, this conversation is packed with insight on how to apply LTAP™, restore confidence in your practice, and help patients believe in what's possible again.Resources Mentioned In This EpisodeSign up for the Fall 2025 online LTAP™ LEVEL 1 course HERE!Connect with Greg on InstagramLearn the LTAP™ In-Person in one of my upcoming coursesConsidering the viscera as a source of musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction is a great way to ensure a more true whole body approach to care, however it can be a bit overwhelming on where to start, which is exactly why I created the Visceral Referral Cheat Sheet. Aging is more than disease—it's the steady decline of function. In this episode of Longevity by Design, Dr. Gil Blander speaks with physicist-turned-biotech innovator Dr. Peter Fedichev about why resilience, not diseases, holds the key to longer lives.Peter explains how his background in theoretical physics shaped his approach to biology and aging. He outlines why startups, not large institutions, are now leading innovation in longevity science. Drawing from physics, he describes aging as a series of “jumps” between states, each leaving the body more fragile. The discussion moves from the limits of current drugs to the promise of new approaches. Peter argues that reducing fluctuations and increasing molecular fidelity could unlock far greater gains in healthspan and lifespan. Listeners gain a fresh lens on what drives aging, where the real breakthroughs may come from, and why the next frontier in longevity will require rethinking the problem altogether. Guest-at-a-Glance

Reception teacher Poppy LeMar responds to Bridget Phillipson's claim that “half can't sit still” at age four, explaining that while children can sit briefly, their self-regulation is still developing. She highlights what sitting still actually looks like in a reception classroom, challenges misconceptions, and encourages better understanding between families and educators. While waiting breathlessly for actual football games (that count) to start, South Dakota State fans and media felt an early Christmas present drop in their lap on Monday with the news of the Jackrabbits accepting an invitation to play Montana in the new Vegas Kickoff Classic at Allegian Stadium — home of the Raiders — in 2029. In this week's addition of "Nobody's Listening Anyway" over cocktails at the Gateway Lounge, Happy Hour Host John Gaskins and Sioux Falls Live sports reporter Matt Zimmer dive into the relevance and meaning behind this news. Then, more preseason banter about the the Jacks and South Dakota Coyotes. SDSU quarterback Chase Mason offered another reason to brace for a breakout season with remarks he made on Happy Hour last week, but how much stock do we take in them? Plus, what is the "sneaky" significant aspect of the '25 Jacks that nobody is really talking about, and what is the most-anticipated part of USD football beyond senior QB Aidan Bouman?Meanwhile, what do we make of both the intense local and global spotlight shining brightly on South Dakota's 12-year-olds at the Little league World Series, while our high schoolers playing in recent state legion tourneys and grown men competiting in the state amateur events appear to play second fiddle? Why is Zim "not surprised buy devastated" of the Pohlad family it is not selling the Minnesota Twins after all? Enjoy a deep dive of deep-rooted contempt of 40 years of ownership. Finally, SDSU legend Zach Zenner recently remarked that he had only had five alcoholic beverages in his life, that he had never been drunk, and that alcohol doesn't enhance any situation it is consumed. As Zim and John sipped on Budweiser and Tito's on an idle Tuesday afternoon, enjoy the response.

The human brain tends to slow down as we age — even healthy brains shrink. That can make learning and memory harder as people age. But some people's brains shrink more slowly than their peers. This lucky group is called “SuperAgers.” They're people aged 80 or older. But they have the memory abilities of someone 50-to-60 years old. This week in the journal Alzheimer's & Dementia, researchers from Northwestern University's SuperAging Program summarized some of the secrets they've learned in the last 2.5 decades. The worries of a 16-year-old can include what to wear, cramming for exams, keeping up on social gossip, and taking a driving test. But what about voting in the next federal election? The push to lower Canada's voting age is getting new energy following an announcement by the U.K. that 16- and 17-year-olds will be allowed to vote in their next general election. So, should Canada follow suit and let younger Canadians cast a ballot? Host Cormac Mac Sweeney speaks with Amanda Munday of the non-profit group New Majority, who argues if someone is old enough to drive a car and pay taxes, then they are old enough to mark an X. In this snack-sized episode, Ophira Eisenberg reconnects with comedian, author, and How to Be a Better Human podcast host Chris Duffy for a rapid-fire chat covering the unexpected overlaps between parenting and comedy. Chris reflects on his years as a fifth-grade teacher, including a moment when a student earnestly asked—in front of the class—if having “huge balls” was a medical concern. The two swap stories about bedtime existentialism, the silent pressure of sleep training success, and the social minefields of modern parenting advice (including unsolicited high-fives from strangers about home births). Chris shares why he's terrified his kid might become a hypebeast influencer, and admits he's never called an Uber with his child for fear it might tank his 5-star rider rating. This mini-episode wraps with Chris's pitch for a premium Uber Labor tier—and his confession that he still hasn't recovered from laughing at a fourth grader's joke about rejection checkboxes.
If you're 16, that means you're old enough to drive a car and get a job — but should you also be able to cast a vote? The U.K. says yes. The country is lowering the voting age to 16, and advocates in Canada say we should do the same. Our guests make the case and explain how a decision like this can reshape our democracy.

Lots to discuss today, between Diane Abbott being suspended (again) and Labour handing the vote to 16-year-olds just before we head into recess.Abbott's suspension comes after she was accused of ‘doubling down' on previous claims that Jewish people experience racism differently from black people. She is the latest Labour troublemaker to be left out in the cold, with seven MPs punished this week for voting against the government – four of them suspended from the party. Is Starmer confusing toughness with strength? And will Abbott's suspension stick this time?Elsewhere, 16-year-olds have been given the vote. Those in favour point to the political maturity of young people in the country and welcome this as a move towards fairness and encouraging responsibility, while detractors are crying gerrymandering and a raw attempt to swing the political arithmetic in the governing party's favour. But will it actually matter? Polling suggests that very few 16–17-year-olds will actually vote – and that many of them prefer the insurgent parties. So who stands to win, and who stands to lose from the very modest youth-vote bump?Lucy Dunn speaks to Tim Shipman and the pollster Luke Tryl.Produced by Oscar Edmondson.Become a Spectator subscriber today to access this podcast without adverts. Today, the voting age at the next general election will be lowered across the UK to 16 for the first time.Labour's election manifesto last year pledged to lower the voting age to 16 - in line with Scottish and Welsh elections. The Prime Minister has said 16 and 17-year-olds are "old enough to go out to work, they are old enough to pay taxes". The policy has been criticised by the Conservatives and Reform. Adam and Chris are joined by Professor Jane Green - Director of Nuffield Politics Research Centre and President of the British Polling Council. And, MP Diane Abbott has been suspended by the Labour Party pending an investigation into comments she made about racism, the BBC understands. Summary In this episode of Armed American Radio, host Mark Walters discusses the recent Georgia Supreme Court decision regarding the carrying of handguns by individuals aged 18 to 21. Joined by Paul Markle, the conversation delves into the interpretation of the Georgia Constitution, the implications of age restrictions on rights, and the hypocrisy surrounding laws that treat young adults as capable of making significant life decisions while denying them certain rights. The discussion also touches on the role of military training in the context of civilian rights and the potential for legislative changes in response to the court's ruling. Takeaways The Georgia Supreme Court upheld a law restricting handgun carry for ages 18-21. Interpretation of the Georgia Constitution is open to debate. Age restrictions on rights often lack logical consistency. Young adults can enter into significant contracts but are denied certain rights. The hypocrisy of age laws is evident in various contexts. Military training does not equate to civilian rights. Legislative action is necessary to address these issues. The concept of tyranny is highlighted by unequal laws. Proposed solutions include allowing young adults to choose their rights. The conversation emphasizes the need for honest discussions about rights. Keywords Second Amendment, Georgia Supreme Court, gun rights, age restrictions, military training, legislative action, hypocrisy, civil rights, firearms, youth rights
