Hoy termina para mí la temporada y, por lo tanto, terminan los martes, que ahora serán martes a secas, extrayéndome a mí de la ecuación. Y por lo tanto yo no seré Peláez, el de los martes Peláez, sino Peláez y punto.Es el poder de la radio, Carlos. Por motivos que no vienen a cuento hace unas semanas pasé varios días entrando y saliendo de una UCI para visitar a un familiar que, gracias a Dios, se recuperó adecuadamente. Una UCI es un lugar extraño, una serie de camas separadas por cortinas, llenas de aparatos, monitores y gente que sufre. También sufren sus familiares, que esperan todo el día para entrar un momento por la mañana y otro por la tarde. Hay miedo, hay dolor y hay culpa, una culpa extraña que une al que se queda, porque se queda. Y al que se va, porque se va. Y surge ahí un silencio extraño, un silencio de sala de embarque roto solo por el sonido de una radio. Eso fue lo único que me pidió la persona a la que iba a ver. Tenía un móvil, le ofrecí un iPad, pero me dijo que no, que solo quería una radio, un transistor. "Es lo único que me acompaña de verdad", me dijo, "en las larguísimas horas de soledad".La ponía bajito, para no molestar, pero pronto su vecino le dijo que la subiera un poco, así que de repente ya no estaban del todo solos porque oían lo mismo, lo que convertía de modo mágico al desconocido en vecino y al vecino en cómplice.No se me ha ido de la cabeza desde entonces. Hacemos análisis, tertulias, damos noticias, a veces influimos. Y Todo eso está bien. Pero que nunca se nos olvide que la radio es sobre todo compañía. Y que además de políticos poderosos tomándonos la matrícula, lo que hay al otro lado es gente en hospitales, gente en residencias, gente que viaja, gente que no puede dormir y gente que está sola.Carlos, ha sido un honor formar parte de este pequeño batallón de voces de compañía. Találkozásunk apropója éppen ez a gondolat, mert Jani számára a 4F-Club újraindítása jóval több annál, mint hogy időről időre elhangozzanak a régi slágerek. Ő azt szeretné visszahozni, ami a kilencvenes években természetes volt, és ami mára szinte teljesen kikopott Budapestről: azt a klubéletet, ahol egy zenei közeg köré emberek szerveződnek, ismeretségek születnek, beszélgetések indulnak, és ahol nem az online jelenlét helyettesíti a valódi emberi kapcsolatokat, hanem a zene ad okot arra, hogy személyesen is együtt lehessünk. A beszélgetésből kiderül, hogy ez a hiányérzet régóta dolgozik benne. Nem egyszerűen a színpad hiányzott neki az elmúlt huszonöt évben, hanem az a közvetlen kapcsolódás is, amit semmilyen közösségi platform nem tud pótolni. Pontosan látja, hogy ma minden adott ahhoz, hogy elérjük egymást, mégis egyre kevesebb az olyan tér, ahol tényleg találkozunk is, és ő most ezen akar változtatni. Szóba kerül a 4F-Club története is, az indulás legendás időszaka, Som Lajos szerepe, a Balatoni láz berobbanása, és az a két év, amikor szinte megállás nélkül vitték őket országszerte. Ez a múlt azonban azért fontos, mert abból az energiából, abból a közös élményből szeretne valamit átmenteni a jelenbe, ami annak idején valóban embereket hozott össze. A cél az, hogy a régi dalok segítségével újra létrejöjjenek olyan esték, ahol a közönség nem csupán hallgató, hanem része valaminek. Egy hangulatnak, egy beszélgetésnek, egy közösségnek, amelynek a zenekar csak a kiindulópontja. Jani ebben az új időszakban már egészen tudatosan gondolkodik. Todo eso me hace sentir pequeño, como si te enteraras de repente que mientras tú estabas en el bar hablando a los parroquianos del imperio de la ley y de la separación de poderes, "no, mira, Ernesto, te explico", así, desde una tribuna moral y académica que solo me faltaba la toga para parecer el mismo Zenón de Citio, pues hubiera otro mundo dentro del mundo, unos arrabales que todo el mundo conocía, menos tú, que estabas haciendo el ridículo hablando de contrapesos y de controles con tu vinillo en la mano.Yo lo imagino como una matrioska: dentro del mundo normal habita un mundo más pequeño y más podrido y dentro de ese otro y dentro otro, hasta que, al final, llegamos a un 'aquapark' de aguas fecales, con policías, fiscales, empresarios, jueces y políticos corruptos, todos en bañador, chapoteando en una piscina de bolas sucias, tirándose a la cara amenazas, grabaciones y excrecencias.De todo lo que estamos viendo, lo más grave es el caso Leire. Cuando a un pueblo le roban la fe en las instituciones, lo menos preocupante son las joyas y las chicas. Mucho más duro es aceptar es que siempre tuvieron razón en el bar.

Fortunately, Daire Dempsey, Executive Director of the Transgender Equality Network of Ireland was generous enough to give me their time and fill me in on what the reality is.
