We finish off the 2020 EuroCross Academy Summer sessions series with a great line-up! Katerina Nash talks about multi sport athletes and the ONE time she was disappointed...:)  Then we are joined by maybe the best known cycling coach in the country; JIm Miller from USAC.  His knowledge is awesome as are his insights.

This week at the EuroCross Academy, campers were joined by Mike Teunissen.  Mike reviewed video with us of his 2013 U23 world championship win in Louisville and talked about how his CX skills have helped him be a better road racer.  Then Chris McGovern chats with campers about race day prep with some support from Becca Fahringer.

France has what is probably the largest junior rider participation in cyclocross in the world.  We had French national training coach Francois Trarieux and Caroline Mani join EuroCross Academy summer sessions to talk about their system and how it gets so many junior riders to their national races.

This week the EuroCross Academy class is joined by Tim Heemskerk one of the performance coaches for Jumbo - Visma and Kelsey Erickson the Executive Director of Athlete Health and Wellness for USAC.  Tim talks about how American riders should use training blocks when in Europe.  Kelsey's talk is about the programs USAC has for athlete health and how they work and protect athletes.

This week at the academy we were joined by Karen Ramakers from Telenet Baloise and Stu Thorne from Cannondale Cyclocrossworld.  They talk to the campers about their team structure and operation and what they look for in young riders.  Hint: It's coachability.....our character topic this week.

This week on EuroCross Academy summer sessions companion podcast we bring you Gerben de Knegt the Dutch national coach for mountain and cyclocross.  He tells us what REALLY makes the Dutch system special.  Hint: It's not a training drill.  With Gerben is Puck Pieterse, at 17 she finished top 5 in a Women's elite race last year and took second at Junior Womens Worlds.  Then to finish out the show Allison Arensman talks about strength training, specifically some ideas for back strength and Roger and Curtis take on some bike carrying videos.

This week the class was joined by Niels Vandeputte from Alpecin.  He talked about goals as a young rider, reviewed some video from CX U23 Worlds and is generally a really cool guy.  Then Roger Aspholm discusses what is Grinta and how is it different from Sisu. Key ideas for pushing forward.

We go into week 2 of EuroCross Academy with talking about discipline.  To talk about this topic we were joined by three of the strongest women in the sport of cyclocross.  Lucinda Brand, Shirin van Anrooij, and Rebecca Fahringer!  Lucinda and Shirin talk to "campers" about their specific training and Rebecca gave some great nutrition info and discussed her nutrition approach.  Also! skill of the week IG video reviews!!

This week on the first "official" episode of the EuroCross Academy podcast presented by Cyclocross Today we had a visit from Sven Nys! Sven broke down video from a couple races as well as answered some camper questions.  It was a great visit and we present a part of it here.  Then Curtis White discussed the importance of young riders becoming leaders and engaging their local community to help expand the sport. Finishing off with some Sven Hill video reviews and the mention of next weeks guests!!!

This week, just Bill and I talking about and playing catch up on all the Euro races that we've missed in the past couple of weeks.  We call it the midway point to make ourselves feel better.

This week Mr. David Palan and I are joined by Scot Herrmann to talk about the great weekend of racing at Cincy AND Louisville!  That and Faces from the Grid with John Gatch!!

This week we put up a marathon show that is actually 2 shows together.  We talk with Amanda Nauman pre Providence about the upcoming race.  Then John Gatch does another faces from the grid followed by Spencer Petrov telling us about his great weekend in the junior race and his upcoming trip to Europe.  Then we finish it off with Scot Herman talking Providence results and the upcoming B post bank series.

This week we do a special 1x10 segment and then do our Crossvegas Recap!!  Also new segment: faces from the grid with John from The Two Johns.

Today, Mr. David Palan, Bill Schieken and I discuss the interesting hydration rule interpritation by the officials in Rochester.  I give an update on the Cyclocross Network Racing team and then we update with what's going on as we run up to Cross Vegas.  In the second half of the show JB Hancock, sean Couley and I finish off the Australian national series with the final two stages from Down Under.

Today, Davis and I have a skype conversation with Shana Lydon, the race director from the Ellison Park race in Rochester NY!  About to kick off the new cyclocross season here in the US!  All sorts of race information here for your listening pleasure.

On this show Allen Krughoff talks about the Noosa CX team and what they are doing for the upcoming season.  Then JB Hancock fills in for me as guest host and discusses rounds 5, 6 of the Australian CX National series!

This is the first show of the new season of Cyclocross Today with a legit They Don't Do That In Europe segment!!  On the show with us is Courtenay MdFadden as well to tell us about her past season and what she has coming up.  Then JB Hancock and I talk with Sean Couley from Australian CX magazine and get an update on rounds 3 and 4 of the Australian national series!

This JUNE release of Cyclocross Today brings you the FIRST announcement of the 2015 OVCX schedule.   You got it here first!!  I sit down with Mitch Graham and John Gatch to talk about the upcoming OVCX action!  Then in the second part of the show JB Hancock and I talk with Sean Couley from Australian CX Magazine about the Australian National series that just kicked off down there and was AMAZING.

This week!  The final show before we take a short break to get ready for next season!  We rap up the 2014-15 cyclocross season with our TDDTIE awards show.  David, Bill and I discuss several catagories that we think desirve awards for them and who is our pick for the winners of that award.  

We discuss the final race of the season a bit later than expected but.....  Then mention the UCI Final standings and give our thoughts, then set up the AMAZING show for next week. :)

This week I talk with Cyclocross Network rider Drew Dillman as he gets prepared to ride in the U23 World Championships.  Then in They Don't Do That In Europe Bill, David and I review Hoogerheide results and then go on and make out Worlds Picks.

This week, Bill, David and I discuss the Belgian National team decision in light of the O-zone case against Dr. Chris Mertens.  We also discuss the Single Speed stuff that has been going on around twitter.  WE cover the US Worlds team and get ready to make predictions next week on new World Champions!

This week we give our experience and thoughts on US CxNats and then talk about nationals week in general.  We bring up the schedule rumors for next years world cup races and get ready for Worlds!

This week a long discussion about the last two world cup races.  We get some help from foreign correspondent Matt Stehr with some interviews and just have a rollicking time chatting about cross on boxing day!

This week Bill Scheiken and I get back on schedule by discussing Hasselt and the upcoming Christmas period.  Then we wind it up by discussing some of the upcoming events for US Nats.

This week another long show! David gets to talk with Mo Bruno and Matt Roy out at Baystate cyclocross race, then I interview Cyclocross Network Raceing's new Michigan state cyclocross champion Adam York and we finish it off with a "They Don't Do That In Europe" segment with special guest Gavin "Hoppin" Haley.

David, Bill and I do the usual stuff getting almost everything wrong as we analyze Koksijde and Spa cyclocross races.  We get a little sidetracked as well doing some pit configuration talk etc.  Then we get excited for Milton Keynes!

Huge show this week!  I interview Erica Zaveta from AmyD Foundation racing, then go on to catch everyone up on how the Cyclocross Network Racing team has been doing at the C1 races this year.  I also get in touch with Brian Matter to talk about his mountain bike win at Iceman and his great weekend at Jinglecross.  Then we finish off the show with a They Don't Do That In Europe segment with Mr. David Palan, Bill Schieken and guest Sven Bauman.  It's a monster!!!!!

This week we get caught up with Euro racing with Bill Schieken.

This week I meet again with Bill from In The Cross Hairs for a segment of TDDTIE where we talk about the Valkenburg race.  Then if your going to Cincinnatti for the Cincy3 race this year you won't want to miss the discussion I have with Corey and MItch about the event.  Mitch discusses the course design for the new Devou course and Corey talks about new features of Kings.

This week once again we bring you a special show/segment AND we decide on the name.  Then go on to discuss Ronse and the upcoming World Cup race!!!

This is our special show with Bill Schieken!!  Yes we know that's lame, we're still working on a segment name.  We talk about last weeks race in Gieten and give our annalysis then look forward to BPost and Ronse.

This week I give some race results from BOTH the US and Europe!!  Then in a new show segment David and I meet with Bill Scheiken from In The Cross Hairs and talk about the European cross scene.  Then I finish off the show talking to Tim O'Donnell and Will Sherman from Shamrock Cycles, we talk about bikes, cross and heckeling.

This week I recap the Trek CXC with some results and how it went for the Cyclocross Network Racing team.  Then Mr. David Palan lands two huge interviews as we head into holy week; Helen and Stef Wyman sit down with him for a few minutes after schooling him on how to remount his bike as part of High Tea with Helen.

This week via skype Mr. David Palan and I get caught up with the brand new CX season!  We cover Nittnet Cross and Boulder but spend most of our time discussing our behind the scenes experience at Cross Vegas!

This week Mr. David Palan and I do a little catch up and then complete the corcle when we talk with Arley Kemmerer from PB2 and the 2014 US CX Worlds team.  Then I talk with Brian Segal and Joe Czerwonka about SSCXWC 2014!!!!!! in Louisville.

This week's awesome show has three great disscussions, the first is with John Gatch formerly of The Two Johns cyclong Podcast talking about Gun Club CX and reminiscing about The Two Johns.  Then Brook Watts brings us up to date on what is going on with Cross Vegas this year which is only 3 weeks away!  Finally I finish my Australian CX National series with Sean Couley from Australian CX Magazine, we discuss their national championship race as well as his first han knowledge of the cancelation of the final two rounds of the national series.

This week we talk about NEW cyclocross teams on the scene this year.  Starting off with our own Cyclocross Network Racing Team I talk with Drew Dillman and Jeff Weinert about this upcoming season!  Then we get a quick update from JB Hancock about the Alma GP of Cyclocross that launches the season.  Finishing off with an interview with Meredith Miller talking about the new team the She and Allen Krughoff started this season!!

This week we have a great show for everyone! UCI cyclocross commision member and US Junior and U23 coach Geoff Proctor returns to the show.  Then an update from Sean Couley on the Australian CX national series and finish it off with a great interview with former national champion Ryan Trebon.  Don't miss this one!
