We have now entered the BREAK season of my pageant career. It's very important to have SELF CARE moments for yourself. If you do pageantry for too long, you'll define yourself BY it. And really believe that your worth is determined by 5-7 DIFFERENT people every year. It makes it even harder when you're 19 years old and still on that discovery of WHO you are without consulting and giving weight to peer judgment and commentary in front & behind your back. The story of my teen rookie Season on the stage is just getting warmed up. Ms. McTier can attest to it. LOL When I look back on my experience now, I was a mess with a great body. LOL But the optimism I had to try new things; I would never take that away. Sometimes I have to remember to BE OPTIMISTIC about life again- when I get bored and used to my daily work schedule.
