Today we talk to Mr. Tanner Edenfield out of central Georgia who hosts a great hunting channel on YouTube. If there is anyone more obsessed about Whitetail deer hunting, I have yet to meet them. We go over all angles of deer hunting from multiple states and habitats. Thanks for listening.

Today we talk to Mr Austin Pope. A very successful Youtube hunting personality that hunts almost exclusively in Florida and South Georgia. If you want to learn, especially about navigating Florida public land, tune in to his channel "Dream Team TV". He has become one of my favorite shows because he dives deeper than just a "filmed hunt" and he's just a genuine good person. He walks viewers through scouting, hunting, fishing and the infamous Florida quota system ( inluding Sambar Island). You don't want to miss this one!

Today we have on Jaryd Hurst who won a raffle through Turkeys For Tomorrow for a hunt with the one and only David Blanton. Jaryd is an avid outdoorsman with a wealth of knowledge about southern hunting. His raffle hunt was filmed for an episode of Spring Thunder on the legendary King Ranch in south Texas. If any of you have ever been to Texas, you know well how special it is. We understand that a lot of our listeners Crappie fish, so today we have on a "Crappie Expert" in his own right. Mr. Scott Williams from The Peach State Crappie Club has won countless Crappie tournaments across the US and truly lives and breathes it. Today we go over everything "Speck Fishin" (including acceptable monikers) from boats and electronics to lures.  Heck he's even a big buck killer on his own farm in Blakely County Georgia and we talk hunting for a while too. We began this show by wanting to learn more about the outdoors and share our experiences. When it comes to turkey calling, it doesn't get much better than a 4-time Grand National calling champion!  Throw on 10 Florida state titles, 1 US Open win and many others and it comes to over 80 titles across the US. Mr Scott Ellis has a fantastic hunting show titled "Hunt Quest" and is an ambassador for Woodhaven calls.  He was gracious enough to come on and talk turkey.  We also get to hear some of that grand national talent.  We hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Mr Culpepper grew up around the Realtree farm and as a result began working there as a teenager (fate definitely smiled on him).  Since then he's spent countless hours in and around the deer stand with Mr Bill Jordan himself.  He has filmed and worked all over the country in this capacity. But recently he obtained the blessing from Mr Jordan to go out on his own and this is where Hunt Club TV came to be.  Phillip, along with his core group of friends, have a hunting lease in Georgia and they grow some big bucks and some fine turkeys.  Today Phillip was nice enough to give us some time to talk everything hunting.  He's definitely the real deal.  Thank you all for listening.

We are "From The Woods" but in contrast of all the suffering we endure trying to hunt stubborn southern deer and turkeys, we neglect to portray how great the fishery is where we live. Today we took a turn from our normal hunting content to dip in to another passion of ours, offshore fishing. It's an incredibly interesting sport a lot of folks across the country do not get to experience. We try our best to give a window into the very specific and tedious world of "working class high speed trolling". It is considered widely as the elite form of the working man's bluewater fishing. It isn't easy and it takes fine attention to detail. One might say, the "turkey hunting" of the ocean. The amount of knowledge each of these men behold in indescribable. WE'RE BACK after too long of a break. Unfortunately life happens and things get busy but we are back and more energized than ever. Today we go over a recap of our deer seasons with some cool stories from our hunts. We get into a little bit of turkey talk, always our favorite, and we break down what's next from the woods. We aren't really worthy of his time, but Mr. Carter came on today and talked to us about everything hunting in South Georgia.  This man has committed to doing it old way: traditional archery gear on open public land in South Georgia.  It doesn't get much tougher... but wait, it does. Mr. Carter also hunts "primitive" on public.  Meaning he carves his own bows and arrows by hand, even knapping his stone points.  This is so special it's hard to put into words.  We give a lot of gratitude to him for giving us some of his time to teach us a style that may be gone within a generation.  He's doing things the way the Natives did for thousands of years. Living in the south, have you ever dreamed of chasing midwest whitetails?  You know, the ones you drooled over on those VHS tapes or in magazines as a kid? As someone new to the game there is likely a decision to make, outfitter (private) or public.  Well today we cover a little of both.  Growing up hunting the south like most of us, Mr. Spencer Ford made the bold move to successfully tackle public land hunting across the midwest and we give a little contrast with our experiences hunting private, both with an outfitter and private lease.  He has taken some remarkable public land deer in his endeavors. With early teal season fast approaching we had the privilege of bringing on some west coast guys that eat, sleep and breathe duck hunting. And for added bonus we have a guest co-host in Ernie Coles with "Tides2timber". Ernie is a lifelong friend and avid duck hunter, so we brought him on for better conversation, as we are just recreational duck-gitters at best. Thanks again for all the support. Mark Williams is a veteran public land hunter. He hunted with the famous (and close friend) Glen Solomon for years before his passing with the "WMA Nomads".  Through this time a deep knowledge and love of public land hunting was obtained.  We are very fortunate to get this interview with him ahead of the coming bow season openings in our geographical area (both North Florida and Georgia). When we first contacted Mr. Martinez, we didn't think he would agree to come on the show.  He was one of the "big fish" that we had on our list.  He doesn't seek much fame or notoriety, he lets his productivity and success in the outdoors speak for him.  Richard proved to be a gentleman, woodsman and scholar.  It was a true pleasure speaking with him and seeing only a peek into his life in the palms and pines!  We cherish our talks with the "south Florida crazies" like Richard and Eddy.  It looks like we may have a live turkey podcast in the near future in the beautiful, harsh reality that is The Everglades. Today we get to speak to a man that came from humble beginnings in a small town in Florida and has since spread his wings up to reside in the midwest.  He has established himself as quite the celebrity rubbing elbows with the biggest names in the business. With his last appearance being on The Sportman Channels' "My World Outdoors", he arrowed a GIANT Colorado Mule Deer with KB Outdoors.  He's proven that with poise and determination, big things will happen.  And we also might mention that he saved a child from drowning and just so happened to record it unknowingly on his gopro!  This video has since gone viral reaching millions of people! He is going to be a household name and we are proud that he came on to talk with us.   Go give him a follow on Instagram, you wont regret it. 

Today we get to talk to a public land hunter that is a one percenter. Being as that he CHOSE to move to Florida and hunt these nasty, mosquito infested swamps after a lifetime in the beautiful rolling hills of the Ozarks.  He never missed a stride when making the adjustment and has proven very successful on public land in one of the toughest states to hunt whitetail.  We highly appreciate his time today. A lot can be learned from a man with so much experience. Enjoy

Today we talk to one of what we call (with utmost admiration and respect) a "South Florida Crazy". If you've ever been to the Everglades you know how truly wild and untamed it is. It's incredibly hot, mosquito blanketed, venomous snake ridden, alligator infested and home to a LARGE population of Florida Panther!  This woodsman and his group of friends hunt with the ebb and flow of it.  Having been there personally, it's like hunting on another planet, and Eddy and his buddies have routinely harvested all manner of creatures in its dark depths for decades.  Here we tap into the life of the gladesman, a truly remarkable hunter and woodsmen.  We hope you enjoy this as much as we did.  We are from the woods!

Folks, we hope to have many "legends" on this show.  Today is our first.  Mr. Ralph Bennet is the most well known blood/deer tracker around North Florida. He has lifetimes worth of knowledge along with a dog that has over 400 tracks to her name. We are so happy he was willing to come on the show and give us the inside information on the deer dog tracking life. He gives us the "do's" and "don'ts" with experiential examples. He also teaches us some very interesting facts about exactly how dogs track a wounded animal, and it may surprise you. Thank you all for your continuing support, enjoy.
