Join me as I dig into my self-developed defense mechanisms and allow God to uncover who I am. In this reading I learn how to “make room” for others thoughts and opinions, even when they are different then mine. I also learn more about the power of building up others with dignity and honor. We are all overcomers. Book: Prayers That Avail Much, Prayer: Improving Communication Skills, Author: Germain Copeland.
Join me as I direct my attention inward, to quiet my mind, and to focus my attention. This direction was taken from “The Essential Enneagram” by David Daniel's and Virginia Price. I also dig into Proverbs 3:1-8. Let's lean not on our own understanding and learn how to submit our lives to Christ.
Have you buried your old self in the backyard? Meet Kamilla, the girl I have buried. Everyday I'm growing away from her but that doesn't mean things don't come up where I want to dig her out. I struggled in my own safe space, with confidence and other things. Join me and let's chat about who we've buried.
In this Episode of From Within I open up this podcast to impromptu spirit led conversations I've been having. Our journey's all look different and require us tapping into our source. In this conversation, Shavale courageously opens up about being a Christian mother to a gay daughter. Having a spirit filter has saved us a lot of heartache, but what is a spirit filter? What is obedience? What does protecting our children look like? Join me and Shavale as we allow the spirit to guide our conversation and heart. God bless you!
In this prayer I learned a little outline on how to glorify God with your gifts. 1) Receive them 2) Develop them 3) Make use of them. Book: Prayers That Avail Much, Prayer: To Glorify God, Author: Germain Copeland.
Step with me into the fullness and power that we desire in the name of Jesus. Confess with me that we are Spirit-filled Christians. Yield our vocal organs, we expect to speak in tongues, for the Spirit give me utterance in the name of Jesus. Book: Prayers That Avail Much, Prayer: To Receive the Infilling of the Holy Spirit, Author: Germain Copeland.
Join me in turning from speaking idle words and submit to Godly wisdom. Keep guard over your mouth and make His words the priority. Book: Prayers That Avail Much, Prayer: To Watch What You Say, Author: Germain Copeland.
In this prayer I learn about not withholding good from those to whom it is due when it is in the power of my hand to do it. I will not content with anyone for no reason. I purpose to live at peace with everyone. Book: Prayers That Avail Much, Prayer: Maintaining Good Relations, Author: Germain Copeland.
Join me as I dwell in the secret place if the Most High. Binding my mind to the mind of Christ and my emotions to the control of the Holy Spirit. Obedience is better than sacrifice. When I refuse to listen, anoint my ears to heart. When I am blinded by my own desires, open my eyes to see. Book: Prayers That Avail Much, Prayer: Surrendering All to God, Author: Germain Copeland.
Replace self destructive old tapes with new tapes of God's thoughts! New rejection dialog: “The Lord is my Light and Salvation - whom shall I fear?!” Make a choice to look at Him over anything else. See to it that you do your work processing your energy for His unimpaired clarity. Book: Prayers That Avail Much, Prayer: Overcoming a Feeling of Rejection, Author: Germain Copeland.
This reading was super insightful in a sense of writing our guidelines of what is and is NOT love. And how we can endure anything without weakening because of the love of God. Bless yourself with His love. Bless others! Book: Prayer That Avail Much, Prayer: To Walk in Love, Author: Germain Copeland.
In this prayer we discuss rejoicing in the lord. “I have the victory in the name of Jesus! Satan is under my feet!” Prayers That Avail Much by Grace Copeland.
Prayers That Avail Much, by Germaine Copeland. This prayer on overcoming worry is energizing and encouraged me to pursue His unwavering peace! In this episode I learn about bringing my day and life priorities to God in surrender. This is a powerful prayer if your seeking His compass to guide you. I've been walking out an intentional surrender practice since 2020 and it's changed my life. I will be listening to this anytime I feel I'm in a controlling position. God wants us to rest in Him! Not control every minute of our days.
Today I recorded some moments I intentionally focused on grounding.
As an entrepreneur I'm managing running my own business 24/7. It's taken centering all my life, work included, to build my work the way I think God wants me to (with firm boundaries and lots of grace). Old me would have never thought that was possible but I've been learning walking this prayer out that god has appointed me in this calling. I center myself on Him each new day and enjoy the fruits of the work we do together. Praying blessings over your business! (Book: Prayers That Avail Much, by Germaine Copeland)
Germaine Copeland's “Prayers That Avail Much,” is a gift. Grateful for this book and how it's allowed me to sit in prayerful peace. Praying this over my family as we walk through each day centered on Him through this enormous transition. Excited about His plans over mine.
My prayer study today we read Germaine Copeland's Prayers That Avail Much, “To Bear Fruit.” I discuss being appointed, what commitment means (mandatory practice), being good ground and walking out life knowing who's you are and that you're worthy. Join me in todays prayer! XO
I've been spiritually challenged to speak prayer more out loud and in the moment with the person I feel the prayer for. It makes me nervous stepping outside my comfort zone so I'm working on learning more about prayer. Leaning in on this amazing prayer book “Prayers That Avail Much,” brought to my attention by a “willow tree” in my life. I'm thankful for all the women in my life pouring into me. You are my Willow Trees! In this episode I read Germaine Copeland's “Prayers That Avail Much” prayer titled, “Letting Go of your Past.” I share a few things that I'm working through that jumped out at me. Comment what bit you?
On episode 6 of From Within, I introduce you to Rebecca Schupp, momma of two and also big time business woman. I met Rebecca when I walked onto Sacramento State's volleyball team in 2002. Over the years Rebecca has been someone who has always been there for me to help me digest life and move forward. As a woman in a bi-racial relationship, she's also been someone I've been able to bounce motherhood off of. Towards the end of this podcast we start a conversation that we plan to take further, biracial mothers and caring for your family. I look forward to growing old together and sharing many more meaningful conversations. THANK YOU REBECCA! God bless all you do. Please LIKE, COMMENT, SHARE, SUBSCRIBE! XO
