Two new Think Fast Talk Smart AI tools put communication skills to the test in real time.Technology promises many things, but few experiments illustrate its potential more vividly than a coach in conversation with his own digital counterpart. In this episode, Matt Abrahams introduces two new AI-powered tools from the Think Fast Talk Smart Online Learning Community: Coach Matt and Chat Matt. Trained on years of Matt's communication teachings and podcast insights, these digital counterparts offer a rare opportunity to watch human expertise meet machine-driven guidance in real time.Coach Matt begins by addressing a familiar tension: the surge of anxiety that surfaces before high-stakes speaking moments. His approach reframes that nervousness as a form of future-focused energy that can be redirected toward curiosity and clarity. He also introduces the “What–So What–Now What” framework, a simple but powerful method for giving feedback that remains constructive, direct, and grounded in shared purpose.Chat Matt then steps into the conversation, tackling the challenge of crafting a compelling proposal in just two minutes. Its responses reveal how AI can quickly synthesize communication principles while also highlighting the evolving space where human nuance and digital precision intersect.By pairing Matt Abrahams with his own digital counterparts, this episode of Think Fast Talk Smarts explores the future of communication learning—one where technology doesn't replace the coach, but expands the possibilities for insight, clarity, and confident expression.Episode Reference Links:Think Fast Talk Smart Learning Community Connect:Premium Signup >>>> Think Fast Talk Smart PremiumEmail Questions & Feedback >>> hello@fastersmarter.ioEpisode Transcripts >>> Think Fast Talk Smart WebsiteNewsletter Signup + English Language Learning >>> FasterSmarter.ioThink Fast Talk Smart >>> LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTubeMatt Abrahams >>> LinkedInChapters:(00:00) - Introduction (03:13) - Introducing Coach Matt and Chat Matt (04:14) - Coach Matt: Speaking Anxiety (06:14) - Reframing Nervousness (07:14) - Constructive Feedback Framework (08:33) - Testing Communication Advice (10:07) - Chat Matt: High-Stakes Presenting (13:59) - Strengthening a Two-Minute Proposal (16:35) - Conclusion ********Thank you to our sponsors. When you enter a conflict trying to win, Deepak Chopra says you've already lost.“We can resolve any conflict,” says Dr. Deepak Chopra. All it takes is what he calls “conscious communication.”Chopra is a physician, a leading authority on integrative wellbeing, and the author of over 97 books. His “conscious communication” approach puts presence at the center of all meaningful interactions — bringing together attention, affection, appreciation, and acceptance. When applied to conflicts, his approach turns adversaries into collaborators, leading to what he calls "spiritual solutions" where diverse perspectives and problem-solving lead to better outcomes for all. “We can come up with a creative solution for any adversity,” he says. “All we want is the best outcome for everyone.”In this episode of Think Fast, Talk Smart, Chopra and host Matt Abrahams explore how presence transforms our interactions, why intentions enable us to accomplish more with less effort, and helpful questions to guide difficult conversations. Whether navigating conflict in our professional or personal lives, Chopra's insights show why the best resolutions come when we stop trying to be right and start trying to understand.Episode Reference Links:Deepak ChopraDeepak Chopra AIEp.138 Speak Your Truth: Why Authenticity Leads to Better Communication Connect:Premium Signup >>>> Think Fast Talk Smart PremiumEmail Questions & Feedback >>> hello@fastersmarter.ioEpisode Transcripts >>> Think Fast Talk Smart WebsiteNewsletter Signup + English Language Learning >>> FasterSmarter.ioThink Fast Talk Smart >>> LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTubeMatt Abrahams >>> LinkedInChapters:(00:00) - Introduction (02:29) - The Power of Presence (04:15) - Reframing Conflict (10:25) - The Role of Intention (12:25) - DeepakChopra.ai Explained (14:27) - The Final Three Question (19:10) - Conclusion ********Thank you to our sponsors. Send us a textJoin Marc Almodovar, Founder of the Men's ADHD Support Group, and Kyrus Westcott of The Vibe with Ky as they explore what some think is a taboo subject: Ethical Non-Monogamy.But here's the thing, this isn't a talk about whether you should practice ethical non-monogamy. It's about what ENM can teach us about communication, boundaries, consent, and intentional relationship design, skills that make every relationship healthier, regardless of structure. When you can't rely on default relationship scripts, you have to talk about everything. You have to get clear on what you want, what you need, and what your boundaries actually are. That clarity? It's valuable for everyone. In this conversation, Marc and Kyrus explore:Why clear communication beats assumptions every timeHow to identify and communicate your actual needs (not just what you think you're supposed to want)The difference between agreements and expectationsWhy boundaries are about you, not controlling someone elseHow to design relationships that actually work for the people in themYou don't need to be interested in ENM to benefit from this. You don't need to agree with it. You're here to learn, not to commit to anything. Take what fits your life and leave the rest. This is a safe conversation. You're allowed to be curious. You're allowed to feel uncomfortable, excited, confused, or skeptical. All of it belongs here.Whether you're in a traditional relationship, single, or exploring other options, the relationship skills discussed apply. Why community is the most powerful tool for transformation.Community isn't just a feel-good buzzword. According to Gina Bianchini, it's a catalyst for personal and collective transformation.Bianchini is the CEO and founder of community-building platform, Mighty Networks, and author of the book Purpose: Design a Community and Change Your Life. "Community is when people come together, and every single member has something to give and something to receive," she explains. In contrast to the one-directional dynamic of a speaker and their audience or a creator and their following, Bianchini argues that the power of community lies in two-way exchanges, where each member benefits the group and benefits from it. "Community is the single most effective way to get results and transformation you just can't get on your own," she says.In this episode of Think Fast, Talk Smart, Bianchini joins host Matt Abrahams to discuss how to unlock the potential of purposeful communities. She shares strategies for finding your tribe during times of transition, the "people magic” created when we facilitate deep connections, and how creating community enables us to create the world and lives we imagine. To listen to the extended Deep Thinks version of this episode, please visit FasterSmarter.io/premium.Episode Reference Links:Gina BianchiniGina's Book: PurposeEp.174 Fix Meetings: Transform Gatherings Into Meaningful Moments Connect:Premium Signup >>>> Think Fast Talk Smart PremiumEmail Questions & Feedback >>> hello@fastersmarter.ioEpisode Transcripts >>> Think Fast Talk Smart WebsiteNewsletter Signup + English Language Learning >>> FasterSmarter.ioThink Fast Talk Smart >>> LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTubeMatt Abrahams >>> LinkedInChapters:(00:00) - Introduction (02:17) - Defining Community vs. Audience (04:05) - Community as a Catalyst for Transformation (06:41) - Finding the Right Community (10:29) - The Future Story Framework (13:22) - People Magic & Facilitation (19:07) - The Final Three Questions (24:59) - Conclusion ********Thank you to our sponsors. In this conversation, Dr. Alexandra totally nerds-out with Dr. Allison Daminger about the division of work in couples, particularly in an often overlooked domain: the mental space. In her research, Daminger found that even when couples approximate parity around “time use”, there are still huge gaps in what she calls “mind use” or cognitive labor… even for modern couples who believe in what she calls the Myth of Mutuality, an equal partnership where both partners evenly share the load. You will hear about the gendered disparities in cognitive labor in the home in a gentle, blame-free way. When it comes to gender roles in family life, we tend to overestimate the effects of individual differences and underestimate the effects of bigger social forces. So if the load is feeling unequal in your partnership, Daminger wants you to move away from guilt and blame and toward strategies that move you closer to your ideals. In this episode, you'll hear about:What constitutes cognitive labor and why women tend to carry the lion's share. Experiences from couples in Allison's research who successfully created shared systems for cognitive labor, and the approaches and conditions that made that possible. The narratives couples use to justify how they divide labor, especially when trying to avoid recreating gendered patterns (while often recreating them anyway). How to spot cognitive labor disparities in your own home and use that awareness to divide responsibilities more fairly based on skill rather than “personality” (i.e., gendered expectations). The pressure that broader societal structures place on individual households, and how reframing the issue can support calls for systemic change. How to start small and make meaningful shifts toward parity in cognitive labor.Resources worth mentioning from the episode:Dr. Allison Daminger's book, What's On Her Mind - The Mental Workload of Family Life: https://bookshop.org/p/books/what-s-on-her-mind-the-mental-workload-of-family-life-allison-daminger/585e2aa7eac0a0eaLearn more about Dr. Allison Daminger and sign up for her newsletter The Daminger Dispatch: https://www.allisondaminger.com/Continue the conversation with Dr. Alexandra Solomon:Ask a question! Have you ever wondered why so many well-designed strategies fail in execution? Tim Ohai reveals that the real problem isn't poor planning, it's poor decision-making. You'll learn how clarity at every handoff—from leadership to teams—determines whether people can actually deliver on what's expected. You'll also discover the human side of strategy. Hello to you listening in Dong Nai, Vietnam!Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is Stories From Women Who Walk with 60 Seconds for Wednesdays on Whidbey and your host, Diane Wyzga.Imagine this: parents taking matters into their own hands and dialing back on their children's cell phone access by bringing landlines into their homes. In one dad's words, “Landlines strip communication skills back to basics.”What makes this move look like something out of The Wayback Machine? Because it confronts the digital mainstream with unsung values grounded in new ideas. In our house this is how we're doing it; not so much to return to artifacts of the past but to values, manners, civility, listening, and a way of being in the world that is not tied down to and held hostage by the ever-present DEVICE. I believe that our yearning for a more humane way of life in this digital age is showing up in what we decide to let go of as well as what we choose to hold on to. Click HERE to watch the 4-minute Today Show segment to learn more.Question: It's not just about a mom or a dad with an idea but an idea that's resonating. What ideas do you have to marry the pre- and post-digital worlds by calling on the unsung values of the old ways? You're always welcome: "Come for the stories - Stay for the magic!"
