Learn more about my patented program, Your ADHD Brain is A-OK Academy here: programs.tracyotsuka.com/signup___What if the systems you were told to follow just… never worked for you?Latrice Prater spent years trying to fit into traditional jobs and structures, feeling like she was always falling short, until her ADHD diagnosis in her 30s made everything click. A Navy veteran, certified Director of Operations, and now founder of The Digital Solutions Team, Latrice has since built a thriving agency that helps women create neurodivergent-friendly businesses built around their actual brains, not just business blueprints. In this episode, Latrice and Tracy dive into the realities of being an ADHD entrepreneur, the problem with cookie-cutter strategies, and the power of building systems that serve your energy, not drain it. Latrice shares how her military background shaped her discipline, why she believes in automations as acts of self-kindness, and how she transformed chaos into clarity for herself and hundreds of clients. They also talk about how motherhood, burnout, and masking pushed Latrice to the edge and how the decision to embrace her neurodivergence became the foundation for her agency, her book, and her healing. She opens up about the pressure to “do it all,” the toll of hiding her struggles, and the freedom she found in building a business that finally worked with her brain. You'll also hear how she redefined leadership, what finally helped her stop feeling “bad at life,” and why your zone of genius is the one place you should never outsource. The final five roll the dice on the chance to join Drag Race LIVE! in Vegas, but first they need to do a pseudo TicTac lunch with Latrice and film a kiosk promo for an act we know nothing about and never see. We do get a Ru directed photo shoot, but it also feels 14 weeks late. Then it's coats and a cloche on the runway and two different Rosses on the panel. Jewels shines, Onya's nerve and Lexi's heart take them both to the finale, Sam is almost country fried and it's an 11th hour boot of ye old Susan Marie Toot. Today on the I Am Dad Podcast, we are honored to welcome three phenomenal scholars and thought leaders who have dedicated their careers to reshaping the narratives of fatherhood: Dr. Brianna P. Lemmons, Dr. Tasha Alston, and Dr. Latrice Rollins. Collectively, these trailblazing researchers have transformed the way we understand Black fatherhood, family dynamics, and father-inclusive policies. Dr. Brianna P. Lemmons is an assistant professor at Baylor University and the Founder and President of the Black Female Fatherhood Scholars Network, where she uplifts Black fathers through research, education, and training. Her work explores the predictors of non-resident African American father involvement and the impact of fatherhood on child well-being. Dr. Tasha Alston is an assistant professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and a leading voice in fatherhood research. With expertise in social work and educational psychology, she has spent over 25 years uncovering how fathers influence child development, maternal health, and family well-being. She is the author of African American Fathers' Involvement in Their Children's Education and co-editor of Health, Parenting, and Community Perspectives on Black Fatherhood. Dr. Latrice Rollins is an assistant professor at Morehouse School of Medicine and the director of the National African American Child and Family Research Center. A Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Culture of Health Leader, her work focuses on father engagement in health and human services. As the editor of Engaging and Working with African American Fathers and Health, Parenting, and Community Perspectives on Black Fatherhood, she is at the forefront of advocating for policies that strengthen father-inclusive practices. These three powerhouse scholars are not only shifting research but also influencing policy and practice to ensure that Black fathers are recognized as vital contributors to their families and communities. In this conversation, we'll explore their research, their personal insights, and how we can collectively work to challenge stereotypes and empower fathers everywhere.

Hart tracked individual player progress for Head Coach Jason Hooten, helping Femi Odukale earn All-Conference USA selection. At Kansas State, the Wildcats made an NCAA Elite Eight run, going 26-10 and finishing tied for third in the Big 12. While in Manhattan, Kansas, he learned from Head Coach, Jerome Tang, who was selected as the Werner Ladder Naismith Men's College Coach of the Year as well as the Big 12 Coach of the Year. Hart's role in developing the Wildcat guards helped K-State set the single-season mark for assists (611) while placing second in single-season points (2,742). He worked directly with All-American and All-Big 12 First Team selections Markquis Nowell and Keyontae Johnson, assisting them to become the first Kansas State duo to be named to the AP All-America team in the same season.Prior to accepting a job with K-State, Hart served two seasons as a student assistant coach for Head Coach Clif Carroll at Division III Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas, where he finished his bachelor's degree in general studies in May 2022. During his time at Mary Hardin-Baylor, the Crusaders posted a combined 44-7 overall record, including a 28-3 mark and a trip to the NCAA Division III Elite Eight in 2021-22. “Try to help them understand why we're doing what we're doing and let them see how it's going to benefit them in the long term, why we have to be compliant, why we have to be profitable, why we need to market our business. And really talk to them—always going back to what we called in school the ‘Three Legged Stool.' So, we're always trying to balance profitability, access, and quality care.” With a master's in public health, Latrice Smith noticed the massive gap between healthcare and the legal world. After pursuing a law degree, she founded her own firm to combine both fields, providing high-quality care and services while handling the intricacies of legal and business strategy. Today, she is the founder and principal attorney at Thomas Law and Consulting LLC, where she empowers entrepreneurs with strategic legal and business solutions. Under her leadership, Thomas Law and Consulting has become a pivotal partner for medical providers and service professionals, helping them navigate complex legal landscapes and achieve business growth. As a respected business consultant, she empowers professionals to build strong, ethical businesses that leave a lasting impact on audiences. Infidelity is indeed a form of trauma. When someone has been betrayed in this manner, it severely impacts their psychological well-being. This act can alter a person's self-esteem, develop trust issues, and lead to feelings of anxiety, depression, and emotional instability. It can make it difficult for individuals to form healthy relationships in the future and may cause them to question their self-worth and ability to trust others again. According to statistics, 55% of divorces are due to infidelity, and infidelity occurs in 30-40% of non-marital monogamous relationships. When infidelity happens, the question becomes: how do you recover? How can you prevent an experience like this from keeping you stuck in the past, and how do you move forward with strength and resilience in a way that enables you to embrace your next chapter? On this week's podcast episode, join me as I talk with Infidelity Recovery Coach Briaina LaTrice as she shares of experience of recurring infidelity in her marriage, finding the courage to leave, why you must heal, and the importance of releasing the shame of leaving or staying.
