To Teach them what the Bible says about them and who they have been made to be in the promises of God's Word. This changed my life years ago and completely transformed me from a person full of doubt, fear and unbelief to a strong confident Christian that knows I can do anything through Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior. And I'm determined to teach the world what God has taught and commissioned me to teach and that is His Word.  That commission takes me to jails and detention centers weekly along with other open doors at many churches and ministries that are wanting to teach these important truths to the world. My Prayers For The World Ephesians 1:15-23 NLT  'Ever since I first heard of your strong faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for God's people everywhere, I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly, asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God. I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance. I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God's power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God's right hand in the heavenly realms. Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else—not only in this world but also in the world to come. God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the church. Welcome to The Daily, where we study the Bible verse by verse, chapter by chapter, every day. Today's shout-out goes to Alan Klech from Henderson, TX. Our text today is Judges 13:1 And the people of Israel again did what was evil in the sight of the Lord, so the Lord gave them into the hand of the Philistines for forty years. — Judges 13:1 Here we go again. The cycle repeats: Israel turns from God, God hands them over, and they taste the bitter fruit of sin. This time, the oppressors are the Philistines, and their domination lasts 40 years—longer than any other oppression in Judges. It's a sobering reminder that God allows His people to feel the weight of their choices. He won't compete with idols forever. When His people abandon Him, He removes His protection and allows them to experience bondage, not because He hates them—but because discipline can do what comfort cannot. Sin always promises freedom but delivers slavery. What feels harmless at first—just a click, just a drink, just a word—soon grows into something that controls you. What begins as pleasure becomes a prison. This is where we have to consider our own lives. Maybe it's anger that erupts too easily. Maybe it's that private struggle with lust you keep telling yourself you can manage. Maybe it's the habit of chasing approval or numbing pain with distraction. Whatever it is, you already know the truth: what you thought you controlled is now controlling you. Let's not be a community that rationalizes with sin—it will always enslave you. And God loves you too much to let you live comfortably in sin. He will let you feel its chains until you finally turn back to Him. The issue isn't whether sin will enslave you—it's how long you'll stay chained before you let God set you free. ASK THIS: What sin patterns keep pulling me back into bondage? Where am I mistaking temporary pleasure for real freedom? Am I learning from discipline—or ignoring God's warnings? DO THIS: Name one area of your life where sin has become a cycle. Confess it to God today and, if needed, bring it into the light with a trusted believer. Freedom begins where sin is exposed. PRAY THIS: Father, forgive me for returning to the sins that enslave me. Break the chains I've built for myself, and teach me to walk in the freedom that only comes from You. Amen. PLAY THIS: "No Longer Slaves to Fear."

To Teach them what the Bible says about them and who they have been made to be in the promises of God's Word. This changed my life years ago and completely transformed me from a person full of doubt, fear and unbelief to a strong confident Christian that knows I can do anything through Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior. And I'm determined to teach the world what God has taught and commissioned me to teach and that is His Word.  That commission takes me to jails and detention centers weekly along with other open doors at many churches and ministries that are wanting to teach these important truths to the world. In one of the most chilling post-verdict revelations yet, we're hearing directly from the woman Donna Adelson once called her “jailhouse daughter.” Her name is Dina Burnernhard, and according to her testimony and a new interview with Surviving the Survivor, she spent five months locked up alongside Donna in the Leon County Jail. What she witnessed behind those walls is nothing like the frail, weeping grandmother the world saw in court. Dina says Donna began their friendship with a powdered donut — a simple gesture that soon turned into a full-blown manipulation campaign. From there, Donna promised her money, pills, commissary, even a grand piano — all in exchange for taking the stand and lying under oath to shift blame away from Donna and toward her former co-conspirator, Katherine Magbanua. But Dina didn't play along. Instead, she turned over the handwritten script Donna had given her — later introduced in court as State's Exhibit 62 — showing exactly what Donna wanted her to say. It didn't stop there. There is power in confession. James 5:16 tells us, “Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭9‬-‭10‬ ‭ tells us “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. The making of a man or woman of God happens long before the moment of recognition — in hidden places, through faithful obedience, and in God's perfect timing.The Development ProcessAfter Saul's rejection as king in 1 Samuel 15:23, God sent Samuel to anoint David. But even though David was chosen, it would take over 20 years before he would sit on the throne. That gap between promise and fulfillment was the development process — the “darkroom” where God forms character away from the spotlight.David's story reminds us that God develops His people like a photograph. There's an image already imprinted — His image — but if exposed too soon, it's ruined. God's kingdom grows through faithfulness in little things, not instant promotion. “Well done, my good and faithful servant.” (Matthew 25:21)David's great moment began with a simple errand: “Take this basket of grain and these ten loaves of bread” (1 Samuel 17:17-20). Before Goliath, before the crown, there was cheese delivery. God often tests us in ordinary moments to see if we'll serve before we shine.If you're too big to serve, you're too small to lead.Faithfulness in obscurity prepares us for influence in the open. Private obedience shapes public impact.Private Victories Protect Public CallingsDavid's courage before Goliath wasn't random; it was rehearsed in the field. When he fought lions and bears to protect his sheep (1 Samuel 17:34–37), he learned that God rescues and sustains His people even when no one is watching. His confidence wasn't arrogance — it was built through history with God.Every believer faces “lions and bears”: private temptations, hidden sins, and heart battles that no one else sees. Conquering them is how faith matures. Private compromise, on the other hand, always leads to public downfall. (James 1:15; Proverbs 28:13)Life doesn't change that much — the stakes just get higher.So deal with sin in secret before it grows. Confess it to a trusted believer (James 5:16; 1 John 1:7). Every hidden victory builds strength for your future battles.Learn to Walk in Your Own ArmorWhen Saul offered David his armor (1 Samuel 17:38–40), it didn't fit. David had to fight with what God had already given him — his shepherd's tools. Likewise, we must resist the urge to imitate others. Every woman of God carries two mantles — nurturer and guardian. You cultivate love, but you also defend holiness. You set the spiritual thermostat of your home. And the atmosphere of your house will rarely rise above the atmosphere of your heart.Proverbs 4:23 says, “Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.” Vigilance means watchfulness — the kind of attention a soldier gives to a fortress wall. That's what your heart is: a living stronghold where God's Spirit dwells.The enemy knows if he can contaminate the heart, he can contaminate the home. That's why his first target isn't your marriage or your finances — it's your peace. If he can steal peace, everything else collapses.Guarding your heart and home isn't about fear; it's about discernment. It's asking, “Holy Spirit, what doesn't belong here?” Maybe it's a TV show that normalizes sin, a friendship that fuels negativity, or an attitude of constant complaint. Peace doesn't survive in polluted air — it must be protected.As the gatekeeper, you decide what comes through the door. Worship invites angels. Gossip invites oppression. Gratitude invites God's presence. You can't always control what enters, but you can command what stays.Start by cleansing your heart. Unforgiveness, jealousy, pride — they all leave cracks in the wall. Confess quickly, forgive freely, and fill your home with the sound of praise. When the Word of God is spoken in your house, demons lose their footing.Guarding your home also means teaching your children spiritual boundaries — not out of control but out of covenant. Guard the dinner table. Guard your tone. Guard what voices are allowed to teach your family's values.Peace isn't the absence of chaos; it's the authority of Christ reigning in your space. You don't have to wait for calm circumstances to experience peace — you simply need to enforce Heaven's order in your home.

To Become Jesus Followers: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” MESSAGE SUMMARY: Every time you lie or cheat or lust or get stoned, you put a barrier between yourself and God because God is Holy. God's Holiness prevents Him from communing with sinners. The author of 1 John tells us in 1 John 3:8: “Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.". God brought Jesus, who was both God and man, to live on earth. Therefore, Jesus' blood sacrifice on the cross permitted Him to take on your sins. By His sacrifice, Jesus became the doorway for your personal relationship with God and a path for your Salvation from your sins (1 John 1:9-10): “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.".   TODAY'S PRAYER: Lord, everything in me resists following you into the garden of Gethsemane to fall on my face to the ground before you. Welcome to The Daily, where we study the Bible verse by verse, chapter by chapter, every day. Today's shout-out goes to Joe Ebner from Palos Heights, IL. Thank you for your partnership with us through Project23. Our text today is Judges 11:4-11. After a time the Ammonites made war against Israel. And when the Ammonites made war against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to bring Jephthah from the land of Tob. And they said to Jephthah, "Come and be our leader, that we may fight against the Ammonites." But Jephthah said to the elders of Gilead, "Did you not hate me and drive me out of my father's house? Why have you come to me now when you are in distress?" And the elders of Gilead said to Jephthah, "That is why we have turned to you now, that you may go with us and fight against the Ammonites and be our head over all the inhabitants of Gilead." Jephthah said to the elders of Gilead, "If you bring me home again to fight against the Ammonites, and the LORD gives them over to me, I will be your head." And the elders of Gilead said to Jephthah, "The LORD will be witness between us, if we do not do as you say." So Jephthah went with the elders of Gilead, and the people made him head and leader over them. And Jephthah spoke all his words before the LORD at Mizpah. — Judges 11:4-11 Jephthah wasn't rejected because of his sin—his father's sexual immorality led to his illegitimate birth, and the people unjustly cast him out. They hated him for what wasn't his fault. Now, years later, with the Ammonites threatening, they realized the man they had despised was the leader they needed. At Mizpah, a sacred place of covenant renewal, they made him their head and leader. The very place where God's people often sought God's direction became the stage for God exposing their error and redirecting their future. The one they rejected becomes their redemption. Hmm, I wonder where we have heard that before? Maybe in the New Testament? Someone else's injustice against you, that you unjustly suffer, never nullifies God's calling. God often uses human rejection to display his sovereignty. Jephthah's brothers and community had written him off, but God had not. And when their crisis revealed their stupidity, God used the man they discarded to deliver them. From discarded to deliverer. How about that! Do you judge others unjustly? Or do you disqualify yourself because of something someone did to you in the past? Remember, God has a longer and deeper view of every situation. He redeems shattered stories. He eventually exposes wrong judgments. And when he raises his leaders, it's not based on human approval but divine appointment. Maybe you've been rejected, sidelined, or mistreated. Don't let that seed of bitterness take root. Like Jephthah, your story may become the very evidence that God alone lifts leaders and redeems injustice. And when he does, may we—like Jephthah—ground our leadership not in bitterness but in the Lord. Note Jephthah's words: "If the LORD gives them over to me, I will be your head." ASK THIS: Have I judged someone harshly for what wasn't their fault? Do I believe God can redeem injustice and turn rejection into calling? Am I willing to ground leadership and influence in God's appointment rather than people's approval? DO THIS: Think of someone you've wrongly judged—or a place you've felt unjustly judged yourself. Confess it to God. Ask Him to replace bitterness with trust, and injustice with faith in His timing. PRAY THIS: Father, thank You for redeeming the places of injustice in my life. Forgive me for judging others wrongly and help me see them as You do. Teach me to trust that rejection never has the final word—Your calling does. Amen. PLAY THIS: "God of My Restoration."
