It's Wednesday, June 24th, A.D. 2026. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Attacks on French Christians up by 70 percent Attacks on Christians in France surged over 70 percent last year. The data comes from a recent report by the government.  General anti-religious attacks more than doubled since 2010. Anti-Christian violence followed the trend, nearly doubling over the same period. The European Center for Law & Justice notes that the actual number of anti-Christian acts may be two to three times higher than the official figures. The group also reported that France lacks any dedicated institutional framework to combat anti-Christian hatred. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer resigned The United Kingdom's head of government announced his resignation on June 22nd. The country is set to have its sixth prime minister in just seven years. Prime Minister Keir Starmer stepped down after his Labor Party experienced major election losses in May.  STARMER: “The question my party is asking now is whether I am best placed to lead us into the next general election. I have heard the answer of my parliamentary party, and I accept that answer with good grace. Every decision I have taken has been about putting the country I love first. “That is why I will resign as leader of the Labor Party. I have spoken to His Majesty the King [Charles III] this morning to inform him of my decision. I will ask the National Executive Committee of the Labor Party to set out a timetable with nominations opening on the ninth of July.” Keir Starmer, an avowed atheist, was known for his support for abortion and assisted suicide.  Proverbs 29:2 says, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when a wicked man rules, the people groan.” British study: Marriage brings more stability New research from the United Kingdom confirms that marriage is a major factor in relationship stability.  The report from the Marriage Foundation found that unmarried couples were nearly twice as likely to separate as married couples. Dr. Harry Benson is the Research Director at the Marriage Foundation. He noted, “This groundbreaking study categorically demonstrates the benefits of marrying, and blows apart decades of government policy that has consistently downgraded marriage to just another form of relationship like cohabitating.” Proverbs 18:22 says, “He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord.” U.S. abortions down slightly In the United States, the reported number of babies murdered in the womb decreased slightly last year. The Society of Family Planning, a pro-abortion group, estimates there were 1.13 million abortions in 2025. That's down from 1.14 million in 2024. The data shows in-person abortions are decreasing while so-called “telehealth” abortions are increasing. Nearly a third of abortions are now done outside of physical locations by swallowing the Abortion Kill Pill which mothers order by mail. Texas judge allowed recusal from officiating homosexual faux weddings A Texas judge won her religious freedom case last week against the State Commission on Judicial Conduct. The Commission had issued Judge Dianne Hensley a public warning, sanctioning her for Christian beliefs. She had simply recused herself from performing weddings for couples living in unnatural relations.  The recent settlement awarded Hensley $10,000 and required the Commission to pay her attorney's fees of $630,000.  Economist Alan Greenspan died at 100 Economist Alan Greenspan died at the age of 100 on Monday from complications of Parkinson's Disease. He served as the chairman of the Federal Reserve from 1987 to 2006. He has been credited as the orchestrator of U.S. economic growth in the 1990s. However, his easy-money policies were also blamed for the 2008 financial crisis.  Greenspan was often known as the second most powerful person in the country after the president.  47 percent of Protestant pastors oppose celebrating America's 250th birthday A new survey from Lifeway Research asked pastors about celebrating America's 250th birthday.  Fifty-percent of U.S. Protestant pastors agree that their church should do something special to commemorate the event. Forty-seven percent disagree.  Also, 45 percent of pastors support patriotic elements in worship services during the week of July Fourth. That's down from 61 percent in 2016. Meanwhile, 30 percent of pastors say their congregation's love for America sometimes seems great than their love for God. That's down from 53 percent.   U.S. soccer players glorify God And finally, the U.S. Men's National Soccer Team is advancing in the World Cup. The team has achieved back-to-back victories for the first time since 1930. Members of the team are also making headlines for their faith in Jesus Christ.  Last week, star player Christian Pulisic posted a picture of teammates praying on the field after their game against Australia. One of his teammates, Mark Mackenzie, commented on the photo with a reference to Ecclesiastes 4:9-10. The passage says, “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.” Listen to Mackenzie comment on his faith in Christ. MACKENZIE: “The salvation that I have is nothing that I earned; it's a gift. There's nothing else to it. Every day that goes by is a day where I have to look up and say, ‘Thank you, Lord, for seeing me through this.'” Close And that's The Worldview on this Wednesday, June 24th, in the year of our Lord 2026. This church podcast message powerfully centers on FAITH, FATHERHOOD, DISCIPLESHIP, and SPIRITUAL LEADERSHIP, calling believers—especially fathers—to embrace their DIVINE ASSIGNMENT to lead their families in a way that POINTS CHILDREN TO JESUS CHRIST. It emphasizes that true fatherhood goes beyond provision and success, focusing instead on LOVE, GUIDANCE, CORRECTION, and being a GODLY EXAMPLE through daily actions. Fathers are encouraged to be VULNERABLE, to say “I LOVE YOU,” to admit “I WAS WRONG,” and to walk in HUMILITY and REPENTANCE, true strength is not emotional distance but a CHRIST-CENTERED LIFE. The message reinforces that children learn more from what we DO than what we SAY, highlighting the importance of modeling OBEDIENCE, HOLINESS, and a genuine RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD. At the heart of the church's mission is REACHING THE LOST, RESTORING THE BROKEN, and REVIVING BELIEVERS, which begins in the home through intentional DISCIPLESHIP and building a strong SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION. Families are called to establish FAMILY DEVOTIONS and a FAMILY ALTAR, creating a sacred space where PRAYER, WORSHIP, and the WORD OF GOD shape the hearts of the next generation. This intentional dedication fosters a place of GOD'S PRESENCE, PEACE, PROTECTION, and PURPOSE, preparing children to stand firm in a fallen world and follow GOD'S CALLING wherever He leads. The message also underscores the importance of DEDICATION TO JESUS CHRIST above all else, reminding believers that faith must be lived out with PURPOSE, PASSION, and SACRIFICE. Serving in God's house is not just a duty but an act of WORSHIP, done wholeheartedly as unto the Lord, recognizing that every act of service contributes to advancing the KINGDOM OF GOD. Through PERSONAL DEVOTION, fathers receive the strength, WISDOM, and ANOINTING needed to lead effectively, as their authority flows from their intimate relationship with their HEAVENLY FATHER. Ultimately, this message is a call to ACTION—encouraging believers that it is NEVER TOO LATE to change, to STEP UP, and to build or rebuild a LEGACY OF FAITH. By choosing OBEDIENCE, CONSISTENCY, and SPIRITUAL INTENTIONALITY, families can create a lasting SPIRITUAL INHERITANCE marked by FAITH, COURAGE, REPENTANCE, and GENERATIONAL IMPACT, ensuring that the truth of God is passed down and that future generations are equipped to LIVE FOR CHRIST and GLORIFY GOD in all they do.

In this thought-provoking episode, Nathan and Cameron tackle one of Christianity's most fundamental questions: What does it mean to glorify God, and why is that the purpose of human life? Drawing from biblical theology, Christian apologetics, and personal stories—including Nathan's remarkable near-death experience—they explore the famous Westminster Catechism statement that humanity's chief purpose is to “glorify God and enjoy Him forever.” The conversation addresses common objections from skeptics, including whether God's desire for worship is narcissistic, while examining concepts such as worship, glory, the image of God, human flourishing, gratitude, purpose, and eternal joy. Through insights from Scripture, C.S. Lewis, Tim Keller, and Christian tradition, Nathan and Cameron explain how glorifying God leads to true fulfillment, contentment, and abundant life, offering a compelling introduction to Christian faith, discipleship, spiritual growth, and the gospel of Jesus Christ.DONATE LINK: https://toltogether.com/donate BOOK A SPEAKER: https://toltogether.com/book-a-speakerJOIN TOL CONNECT: https://toltogether.com/tol-connect TOL Connect is an online forum where TOL listeners can continue the conversation begun on the podcast.

Conflict provides a unique opportunity to honor God. Proverbs 15:1 reveals that a gentle answer turns away wrath, while harsh words fuel quarrels. Navigating tension with biblical wisdom transforms difficult moments into paths for reconciliation. Implementing the four G's—Glorify God, Get the log out of the eye, Gently restore, and Go and be reconciled—fosters healthy connections. Selfishness often hinders peace, but following the example of Jesus brings restoration.   Pastor: Enos Marshall Series: Better Together (7) Title: Cooperation (Proverbs 15:1) Date: 2026.05.30+31   LINKS:

We have walked together through one of the greatestpassages in all the Bible: Philippians 2:5–11. Today, we want to review what wehave been looking at over the last nine days. During these days, we have seenthe humility of Christ, the servanthood of Christ, the obedience of Christ, thesacrifice of Christ, the exaltation of Christ, and the lordship of JesusChrist. Now we come to the most important question of all: Will we let thismind be in us which also was in Christ Jesus? Pauldid not give this passage merely so that we could admire Jesus intellectually. He gave it to believers so that we would imitate Christ in a very practicalway. “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.” This is what wehave called the submissive mind. Remember, chapter one was the single mind—themind that is set on Jesus Christ and His gospel. The submissive mind is themindset that says, “Not my will, but God's. Not my glory, but His. Not myrights, but loving service.” Myfriend, this is the mindset that is the exact opposite of the spirit of theworld. The world says, “Promote yourself. Protect yourself. Exalt yourself.Demand your rights.” Jesus says, “Humble yourself. Serve others. Obey theFather. Glorify God.” Humility is not misery. It is the pathway to joy.Philippians, remember, is the epistle of joy. Joy flows from surrender. Prideproduces conflict, but humility produces unity. Pride says, “I deserve better.”Humility says, “I deserve judgment, yet God has given me grace.” Thisperspective changes everything. Thinkagain about the journey of Jesus in this passage. He was in the form of God. Heemptied Himself. He became a servant. He became man. He humbled Himself. Heobeyed unto death. God exalted Him. One day every knee will bow to Him. What aSavior! So how do we live out this life practically every day? First, everymorning we can begin by surrendering our minds to Jesus Christ. PrayPhilippians 2:5: “Lord, let Your mind be in me today,” and ask God to shapeyour thoughts, your attitudes, and your reactions. Second, intentionally look for ways to serve others. Humility grows through service.Sometimes the holiest moments happen in the ordinary acts of kindness in ourlives: encouraging someone who is discouraged, helping without recognition, listening patiently, meeting a practical need, choosing forgiveness instead ofresentment. Third, surrender your rights to the Lord. One of the greatestobstacles to unity is our insistence on personal rights and preferences. AsOswald Chambers said, “The only right you really have is the right to give upyour right to yourself.” The mind of Christ willingly lays down selfish demandsfor the good of others. Fourth, remember the cross daily. The cross destroys our pride because it reminds usthat we are sinners saved entirely by grace. When we stand at Calvary, boastingdisappears. Finally, keep your eyes on the exalted Christ. This old world isonly temporary. The kingdom of Jesus is eternal. One day every knee will bowand every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. We should live in thelight of that coming day. Thismindset is something God wants us to have every day. Churches do not experiencerevival merely through better programs or louder preaching. Revival begins whenbelievers humble themselves before God. Families change when hearts become servanthearted. Churches become unified when believers stop demanding recognition.Communities are impacted when Christians live like Jesus. The world todaydesperately needs to see the mind of Christ lived out through His people. Today,as we close this series, choose humility. Choose obedience. Choose service.Choose surrender. Choose Jesus Christ.

Description:When was the last time you felt truly alive in your body?In this episode of The John Grdina Classroom— your life faith podcast for personal transformation, fitness, and faith — host John Grdina opens with a raw excerpt from his first book Freedom to Ascend describing the mirror moment that changed everything. From post-college slob to ultramarathon runner, John shares the unfiltered story of what it looks like to go from zero to elite — one disciplined day at a time.Inspired by David Goggins' Can't Hurt Me and Cameron Hanes' philosophy on peak performance, John now trains daily with 225pushups and 50 pullups while preparing for the Cleveland Marathon and optimizing his health from the inside out through monthly blood testing with Rythmlab. But the most powerful story in this episode belongs to Marine veteran Mike Egan — who lost both legs to an IED in 2012 and this past weekend completed over 100 miles on his arms at the BPN Go One More ultra backyard marathon. Every hour on the hour. 4.2 miles per loop. Through mud, heat, and rain. No aid. No exceptions. No excuses. At the core of this episode is a truth that every person of faith needs to hear: your body is a temple, and honoring it is an act of worship. Discipline in fitness is not separate from your spiritual life — it is a spiritual act. Most of us are operating at 40% of our true potential. Romans 12:1-2 — The Bible offers many commentaries about the spiritual, but how can we glorify God with our physical bodies? Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones provides 3 key points to why and how we must Glorify God with our bodies in his sermon on Romans 12:1-2. First, that the whole person is to be saved, not just a man's mind and spirit. Dr. Lloyd-Jones states that we must never leave out the body in our ideas of redemption because it is the “temple of the Holy Ghost” and should be treated as such. Although we will someday leave the body, it is not simply flesh that houses our soul. It is instead, a temple for the Holy Spirit to dwell in us. Secondly, we must glorify God with our bodies because the soul must have a body to express itself. We are not just souls floating around inside of bodies. No, we are intelligent beings that can think, see, and do physical acts. The body, soul, and mind are all intertwined and when combined, they make us who we are. Thirdly, we must not disregard the eternal importance of our physical body because it is one of the chief sources of temptation and sin. Dr. Lloyd-Jones states, “The greatest fight for every Christian is the fight against the temptation of the body.” Sin is lurking around every corner. We must always be on the lookout to protect ourselves from bodily temptation. To counteract our sinful tendencies, we must present our bodies as a “living sacrifice.” Like Paul states, we must sacrifice our own sinful desires for eternity. We want to preserve our bodies to be “holy and acceptable to God”. If we strive for this, then we will be ready when we must inevitably present them to God.
