Matthew 20:28 says, “…the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” Jeff asks us to consider not just Jesus’ death on the cross that was given, but also the life that Jesus led that was given. Jesus offered his life and death in a convenient sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins. It goes hand-in-hand - you can’t have one without the other.
