Jesus didn't choose inaction. He knew what needed to be done, was obedient, and had a compassionate attitude. He asks the same of us. Jesus rescued us so that we might join him in rescuing others. That's what becoming a great church is about.
If we are going to become servants, we have to become available to God too (Here I am, send me). After all, God works more through the available than the able.
We need to make sure our minds have the right attitude. If we are going to become like Jesus we need to have the same attitude as Jesus. The motivation behind what you do is just as important as what you do. What is your motivation?
