"Lived Through That” is the companion podcast to my book where I look at influential musicians of the 80s and 90s and where they are today. On this podcast, we'll delve deeper into a single pivotal moment in the lives of some of the artists I feature in that book, as well as other artists I love and admire. The stories they tell are open, honest, and inspiring. This week, iconic singer-songwriter Suzanne Vega opens up about a deeply personal chapter of her life: discovering the man she thought was her father actuaaly wasn't. Known for hits like Luka and Tom's Diner, Vega reveals the emotional journey of uncovering family secrets, identity, and the impact this truth had on her music and sense of self. Are you looking to save time, make money, and start winning with less risk? Then head to https://www.ovtlyr.com.If you've ever struggled to understand what the options Greeks actually mean, this breakdown is for you. We're bringing the Greeks to life in a way you've never seen before—through storytelling, visuals, and practical trading insight that'll finally make Delta, Gamma, Theta, Vega, and Rho make sense.➡️ Learn how Delta really drives your option's price movement➡️ Understand Gamma's impact on speed and acceleration of price changes➡️ Discover why Theta is both your best friend and worst enemy➡️ See how Vega represents volatility and emotion in the markets➡️ Learn when Rho actually matters—and when it doesn'tThis episode turns a complex topic into an easy-to-follow story, walking you through a fun, creative way to understand each Greek as a character on a trading floor. You'll see how Delta acts as the king of all Greeks, controlling how much your option moves for every $1 shift in the underlying stock. Gamma jumps in as the rate of change—the acceleration behind those price swings. Theta shows up as time decay, the unstoppable force eating away at every contract. Vega represents the chaos of fear and greed, expanding and contracting with volatility. And Rho? The quiet influencer that only matters in long-term trades when interest rates start moving. You'll also see why traders who rely only on one Greek miss the bigger picture. For example, selling options just to collect Theta can backfire when Delta and Vega start moving against you. This video explains why having a full understanding of the Greeks helps you manage risk, stay hedged, and trade smarter with data-backed confidence. As the story unfolds, we dive deeper into how these forces interact in real life—how Delta and Gamma shape your exposure, how Theta's time decay punishes indecision, and how Vega spikes when markets panic. You'll see why professional traders use all five Greeks together to find the perfect balance between leverage, timing, and volatility control. And for those using OVTLYR, this is the foundation behind the signals you see on the platform every day. The AI doesn't guess—it measures sentiment, volatility, and momentum in ways that mirror how the Greeks affect real-world options pricing. That's how traders save time, make money, start winning, and lower their risk.Whether you're new to options or looking to master your strategy, this breakdown simplifies one of the most misunderstood parts of trading. The crew also highlights the story of Clarivel Vega, this year's 30km Javelina Trail Society Scholarship recipient. A first-generation Latina and lifelong runner, Clarivel has found strength, resilience, and belonging in the running community after growing up without family support for her sport and managing a chronic illness. How to Trade Stocks and Options Podcast by 10minutestocktrader.com
Are you looking to save time, make money, and start winning with less risk? Then head to https://www.ovtlyr.com.Options trading doesn't have to be complicated, but most traders get tripped up by the Greeks. In this video we break down extrinsic value, time decay, Vega, and Delta in plain language so you can finally understand how options really work. If you've ever been confused about why your option loses value even when the stock moves your way, this session will clear things up.We start with AMD, looking at real contracts with thousands of trades so you can see exactly how intrinsic and extrinsic value play out. Intrinsic value is straightforward—it's simply the difference between the stock price and the strike price. But extrinsic value is the premium you pay on top, and that's where most traders get caught. Time, volatility, and interest rates all factor in, and if you're not paying attention, they can eat away at your gains before you know it.➡️ Learn why deep in the money options often give you better value than at the money contracts➡️ See how Vega inflates option prices at the money and why it matters for your strategy➡️ Understand how Theta works and why time decay is the real cost of leverage➡️ Find out why Delta is the most important Greek and why it dominates everything else➡️ Discover why selling options is a losing game and how it cost traders huge amounts in the pastWe also look at how implied volatility acts like a balloon—when it expands, premiums rise, and when it deflates, they collapse. That's why going deeper in the money helps protect you. At the money or out of the money contracts may look cheaper, but they decay far faster and end up costing more in the long run. When it comes to the Greeks, Delta is king. About 80 to 90 percent of an option's price movement comes from Delta alone. That's why we keep things simple at OVTLYR. We don't waste time on fancy spreads or complicated strategies. Instead, we stick to deep in the money long calls or long puts when the market is bearish. It's all about capturing the move of the stock without gambling on short-term noise. This video also dives into the importance of Gamma, the rate of change in Delta. You'll see why rolling options helps capture more of the gamma move and keeps your trades working harder. Instead of holding a contract that slows down as it approaches 100 Delta, rolling keeps you in that sweet spot where acceleration is strongest. Finally, we share hard lessons from the past.

In this urgent and eye-opening episode, Dr. Robert Kiltz welcomes Dr. Jesús Vega—a Mexican physician, health coach, and passionate advocate for metabolic health—to share his personal and professional journey from burnout and prediabetes to radical healing and purpose.Raised on tortillas and soda, trained in conventional medicine, and shaped by years in emergency care, Dr. Vega reveals:
