Anthony Legens shot at SWAT and was killed at his home in Cedar Hill. Police say 31-year-old Tanya Gould of Cedar Hill was found dead in the home afterwards. She was already dead before police got there. 8.2% was the voter turnout in Jefferson County for the April 6th, 2021 General Municipal Election. KJFF's Korey Johnson has the unofficial election results.

Cities of Arnold, Festus, DeSoto, Hillsboro, and Kimmswick have contested ward races. Seven school boards have contested races as well.
