In July 2003, 34-year-old Shawn Johnson was in New Orleans for a conference. And he did WHAT ANY OF US WOULD DO and tacked on a few days for a little bit of fun. Christian Obumseli was fatally stabbed by his girlfriend, Courtney Clenney, in their Miami apartment in April 2022. Clenney claimed she threw the knife in self-defense after Christian attacked her, while prosecutors argued she was the aggressor. After four years of legal battles, disputed evidence, and allegations of abuse on both sides, Clenney pleaded guilty to manslaughter in August 2026 and was sentenced to six years in prison.
