And the Lord said unto Abram after that Lot was separated from him Lift up now thine eyes and look from the place where thou art northward and southward and eastward and westward For all the land which thou seest to thee will I give it and to thy seed for ever
And being not weak in faith he considered not his own body now dead when he was about an hundred years old neither yet the deadness of Sarah 039 s womb He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief but was strong in faith giving glory to God And being fully persuaded that what he had promised he was able also to perform
I say unto you that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth more than over ninety and nine just persons which need no repentance
And God remembered Noah and every living thing and all the cattle that was with him in the ark and God made a wind to pass over the earth and the waters assuaged
This is the day which the Lord hath made we will rejoice and be glad in it Save now I beseech thee O Lord O Lord I beseech thee send now prosperity
O Lord I have heard thy speech and was afraid O Lord revive thy work in the midst of the years in the midst of the years make known in wrath remember mercy
Gad a troop shall overcome him but he shall overcome at the last
Bless the Lord O my soul and forget not all his benefits
Behold I and the children whom the Lord hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts which dwelleth in mount Zion
A Fathers blessing is the permission and authorization to prosper
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God they are the sons of God
But thou when thou prayest enter into thy closet and when thou hast shut thy door pray to thy Father which is in secret and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly
And of Naphtali he said O Naphtali satisfied with favour and full with the blessing of the Lord possess thou the west and the south
Be glad for all God is planning for you Be patient in trouble and prayerful always
My meditation of him shall be sweet I will be glad in the Lord
A bruised reed shall he not break and smoking flax shall he not quench till he send forth judgment unto victory
Moreover brethren I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you which also ye have received and wherein ye stand By which also ye are saved if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you unless ye have believed in vain For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures And that he was buried and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures And that he was seen of Cephas then of the twelve After that he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once of whom the greater part remain unto this present but some are fallen asleep After that he was seen of James then of all the apostles And last of all he was seen of me also as of one born out of due time
And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way others cut down branches from the trees and strawed them in the way And the multitudes that went before and that followed cried saying Hosanna to the son of David Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord Hosanna in the highest
Therefore I say unto you Take no thought for your life what ye shall eat or what ye shall drink nor yet for your body what ye shall put on Is not the life more than meat and the body than raiment Behold the fowls of the air for they sow not neither do they reap nor gather into barns yet your heavenly Father feedeth them Are ye not much better than they Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature And why take ye thought for raiment Consider the lilies of the field how they grow they toil not neither do they spin And yet I say unto you That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these
Again the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field the which when a man hath found he hideth and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath and buyeth that field
Peter therefore was kept in prison but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us
And he spake a parable unto them to this end that men ought always to pray and not to faint
These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus and with his brethren
Call unto me and I will answer thee and show thee great and mighty things which thou knowest not
The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble the name of the God of Jacob defend thee Send thee help from the sanctuary and strengthen thee out of Zion Save Lord let the king hear us when we call
For the which cause I also suffer these things nevertheless I am not ashamed for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day
And they rose early in the morning and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa and as they went forth Jehoshaphat stood and said Hear me O Judah and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem Believe in the Lord your God so shall ye be established believe his prophets so shall ye prosper
And he removed from thence and digged another well and for that they strove not and he called the name of it Rehoboth and he said For now the Lord hath made room for us and we shall be fruitful in the land

Continue in prayer and watch in the same with thanksgiving

In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him and said unto him Thus saith the Lord Set thine house in order for thou shalt die and not live Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall and prayed unto the Lord And said Remember now O Lord I beseech thee how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart and have done that which is good in thy sight And Hezekiah wept sore Then came the word of the Lord to Isaiah saying Go and say to Hezekiah Thus saith the Lord the God of David thy father I have heard thy prayer I have seen thy tears behold I will add unto thy days fifteen years
Is the seed yet in the barn yea as yet the vine and the fig tree and the pomegranate and the olive tree hath not brought forth from this day will I bless you

These are the three sons of Noah and of them was the whole earth overspread

And there is hope in thine end saith the Lord that thy children shall come again to their own border
And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry and I will multiply them and they shall not be few I will also glorify them and they shall not be small
And the angel said unto them Fear not for behold I bring you good tidings of great joy which shall be to all people For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour which is Christ the Lord
The wind bloweth where it listeth and thou hearest the sound thereof but canst not tell whence it cometh and whither it goeth so is every one that is born of the Spirit
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us
But this I say He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully Every man according as he purposeth in his heart so let him give not grudgingly or of necessity for God loveth a cheerful giver And God is able to make all grace abound toward you that ye always having all sufficiency in all things may abound to every good work
And Peter fastening his eyes upon him with John said Look on us
And he that sat upon the throne said Behold I make all things new And he said unto me Write for these words are true and faithful
Who hath believed our report and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed
Then Simon Peter answered him Lord to whom shall we go thou hast the words of eternal life And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ the Son of the living God
Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father who created all the lights in the heavens a He never changes or casts a shifting shadow b 18 He chose to give birth to us by giving us his true word And we out of all creation became his prized possession
