And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way others cut down branches from the trees and strawed them in the way And the multitudes that went before and that followed cried saying Hosanna to the son of David Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord Hosanna in the highest

Therefore I say unto you Take no thought for your life what ye shall eat or what ye shall drink nor yet for your body what ye shall put on Is not the life more than meat and the body than raiment Behold the fowls of the air for they sow not neither do they reap nor gather into barns yet your heavenly Father feedeth them Are ye not much better than they Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature And why take ye thought for raiment Consider the lilies of the field how they grow they toil not neither do they spin And yet I say unto you That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these

Again the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field the which when a man hath found he hideth and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath and buyeth that field

Peter therefore was kept in prison but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us

But this I say He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully Every man according as he purposeth in his heart so let him give not grudgingly or of necessity for God loveth a cheerful giver And God is able to make all grace abound toward you that ye always having all sufficiency in all things may abound to every good work

And Peter fastening his eyes upon him with John said Look on us

And he that sat upon the throne said Behold I make all things new And he said unto me Write for these words are true and faithful

Who hath believed our report and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed

Then Simon Peter answered him Lord to whom shall we go thou hast the words of eternal life And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ the Son of the living God

But we all with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come they were all with one accord in one place And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind and it filled all the house where they were sitting And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire and it sat upon each of them

And God said Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years

And he said Thy name shall be called no more Jacob but Israel for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men and hast prevailed

Surely he hath borne our griefs and carried our sorrows yet we did esteem him stricken smitten of God and afflicted But he was wounded for our transgressions he was bruised for our iniquities the chastisement of our peace was upon him and with his stripes we are healed

This people have I formed for myself they shall shew forth my praise

Behold I have received commandment to bless and he hath blessed and I cannot reverse it He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel the Lord his God is with him and the shout of a king is among them God brought them out of Egypt he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob neither is there any divination against Israel according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel What hath God wrought Behold the people shall rise up as a great lion and lift up himself as a young lion he shall not lie down until he eat of the prey and drink the blood of the slain

But as it is written Eye hath not seen nor ear heard neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God hath prepared for them that love him
