As the new year begins, this episode is a word of encouragement for Abrahamic fathers who are carrying more than most people ever see. For the dads who shoulder responsibility quietly. For the husbands who keep showing up. For the men who serve God and their families faithfully—even when no one applauds. It's easy to lose sight of why we're doing all of this. In this special New Year's address, Steven calls fathers back to their divine assignment: to love their wives as Christ loved the Church, to die daily for the good of their families, and to lead with sacrificial strength. This isn't about hype or resolutions—it's about faithfulness, holiness, and stewarding every area of life God has entrusted to you. As we step into 2026, this is your reminder: what you do matters. Your obedience matters. Your quiet sacrifices matter. The Kingdom starts at home. About Abraham's Wallet: Abraham's Wallet exists to inspire and equip Biblical family leaders. But on the night before His crucifixion, Jesus offered His disciples something radically different. In a moment filled with uncertainty, anxiety, and transition, He revealed the true secrets to a fruitful life—not through striving, but through connection.A Moment of TransitionJohn 15 isn't a traditional “New Year's passage,” but it may be the most important chapter for stepping into a new season. Jesus and His disciples are in the Upper Room. He has washed their feet. They've shared the Last Supper. Judas has already left. The weight of what's coming hangs heavy in the air. This moment feels like a final speech—Jesus preparing His closest followers for life without His physical presence. Twice in John 14, He tells them not to let their hearts be troubled or afraid. And yet, they clearly are.We can relate. None of us knows what awaits us in the coming year. We don't know what challenges, changes, or losses might be ahead. So how can we live without fear? Jesus answers that question in John 15.Secret #1: Think Like a Producer, Not a ConsumerJesus begins with a metaphor:John 15:1–2 (NLT) – “I am the true grapevine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn't produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more.”The disciples were likely confused. They were focused on themselves—Why are you leaving us? Why can't we go with you? But Jesus flips the perspective. He shifts the focus outward.Fruitfulness isn't about self-improvement; it's about impact.A consumer mindset asks, What do I get out of this?A producer mindset asks, What can God do through me?This changes everything—our marriages, our parenting, our work, our church involvement. Instead of seeing ourselves as victims of circumstances, we begin asking how we can bring peace, serve others, and make disciples. Jesus had just modeled this by washing His disciples' feet.A fruitful life starts when we stop making it all about us.Secret #2: Stay Connected to the VineJesus continues:John 15:4–5 (NLT) – “Remain in me, and I will remain in you… For apart from me you can do nothing.”The image is organic, not mechanical. Branches don't strive to produce fruit; they simply stay connected. This runs counter to how we're wired. We're taught to maximize effort, build better habits, and dig deeper into ourselves. But Jesus says fruit comes from abiding—learning the art of being with Him.That's harder than it sounds. Many of us are good at doing things for God, but not being with God. Remaining requires intentional...

Seven Ways to Know You're in the Will of God • Sunday Service Website: www.PastorTodd.org To give: www.ToddCoconato.com/give Seven Ways to Know You're in the Will of God (And How You Know When You're Not) Let me tell you something up front: The will of God is not a mystery! Religion paints this picture like God is hiding His will from you, and you've got to stumble around in the dark hoping you trip into it. No! God's will is clear, God's will is knowable, and God's will brings you into blessing and kingdom advancement. If you're not in the will of God, you're wasting time, spinning your wheels, and giving the devil a foothold in your life. But when you're in His will, you don't just survive—you multiply, you advance, and you shake the nations for Christ. 1. Peace in Your Spirit Scripture: “And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.” — Colossians 3:15 (NKJV) 2. Confirmation by the Word of God Scripture: “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” — Psalm 119:105 (NKJV) 3. Fruitfulness and Multiplication Scripture: “You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?” — Matthew 7:16 (NKJV) 4. Open Doors by God's Hand Scripture: “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.” — Revelation 3:8 (NKJV) 5. The Witness of the Holy Spirit Scripture: “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.” — Romans 8:16 (NKJV) 6. Provision in the Assignment Scripture: “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:19 (NKJV) 7. Advancing the Kingdom of God Scripture: “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” — Matthew 6:33 (NKJV) How You Know You're NOT in the Will of God Let me hit this quickly and clearly. The Bible shows us markers of being outside His will: 1. Confusion and unrest. “For God is not the author of confusion but of peace.” — 1 Corinthians 14:33 (NKJV) 2. Compromise against Scripture. “But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you… let him be accursed.” — Galatians 1:8 (NKJV) 3. Lack of fruit. “If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered.” — John 15:6 (NKJV) 4. Constant striving with no breakthrough. “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.” — Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NKJV) 5. Ignoring conviction. “And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.” — Ephesians 4:30 (NKJV) 6. Living in lack. “You have sown much, and bring in little… he who earns wages, earns wages to put into a bag with holes.” — Haggai 1:6 (NKJV) 7. Self-glory instead of God's glory. “I am the Lord, that is My name; and My glory I will not give to another.” — Isaiah 42:8 (NKJV) Conclusion Friend, the will of God is not something you have to stumble into—it's something you step into by faith and obedience. When you're in His will, peace rules your heart, doors open, fruit multiplies, provision flows, and the Kingdom advances. When you're out of it, confusion reigns, doors slam shut, provision dries up, and your life feels like pushing a boulder uphill. Make up your mind tonight: I will live in the center of God's will. I will not be distracted. I will not compromise. I will not settle. Because when you're in His will—you're unstoppable.
This episode explores the theme of "being the head and not the tail," drawing from Deuteronomy 28 to encourage listeners to shift from a mindset of bondage and subservience to one of leadership and obedience to God. Samuel emphasizes that blessings follow faithful submission and obedience, contrasting the generational effects of living in freedom versus captivity. Practical examples illustrate how spiritual and financial freedom can be cultivated over time, impacting future generations. The episode closes with a call to embrace obedience, patience, and a lifestyle distinct from worldly patterns, trusting that God equips and blesses those who follow His ways.

TOPIC: Understanding Christian Fruitfulness — Part 4 PREACHER: Rev. Dr. Ebenezer Okronipa SCRIPTURES: Colossians 3:2 Daniel 12:3 Romans 12:9 Romans 6:17 Romans 12:10–11 Job 1 Luke 4:13 John 14:30 Proverbs 4:18 Exodus 16:18 Lamentations 3:22–23 2 Corinthians 4:16 Ephesians 5:18 Matthew 12:43–45 Joshua 1:8 Proverbs 13:20 KEY POINTS (PART 4) 1. A Christianity Without Fire Goes Downhill A believer without spiritual fire will decline in effectiveness. Fruitfulness cannot be sustained without spiritual fervency. 2. Fruitfulness in Time Determines Celebration in Eternity “To enjoy and to be celebrated in eternity, you need to be fruitful in time.” What you do now determines what you will enjoy later. Your earthly fruitfulness affects your eternal relevance. 3. Set Your Mind on the Right Things
Today's Promise: John 15:8 God's desire for every believer is simple yet profound: to live a fruitful life that reflects His glory. In this episode, we explore what it truly means to bear spiritual fruit and why it's not about striving harder, but drawing closer to Jesus. Fruitfulness isn't something you manufacture; it naturally flows from a heart that walks in daily fellowship with Christ. We unpack the transforming power of abiding in Christ and how to enter His presence, relying on His strength, and trusting His work in your life. When you learn to abide, you discover that spiritual growth becomes less about effort and more about surrender. God is already shaping your heart, nurturing your character, and cultivating His fruit in you. Join us as we dive into the joy, the freedom, and the supernatural results of letting Christ live His life through you. This is the path to true, lasting spiritual fruit.
TOPIC: Understanding Christian Fruitfulness — Part 2 PREACHER: Rev. Dr. Ebenezer Okronipa SCRIPTURES: John 15:8 John 15:11 Matthew 5:16 Galatians 5:22–23 Philippians 1:11 Hebrews 12:11 Matthew 3:8 Acts 26:20 Hebrews 13:15 Colossians 1:10 Titus 3:8 Romans 1:13 Proverbs 11:30 Philippians 4:17 2 Corinthians 9:10 KEY POINTS (PART 2) 1. Understanding Fruit-Bearing (Recap) a. What Is “Fruit” in Scripture? Greek: Karpos (καρπός) — meaning: Result Outcome Visible evidence Advantage or profit “That which originates from something” Biblically, fruit represents the visible expression of an invisible life—the outward manifestation of the inward work of the Holy Spirit. 2. Results of Bearing Fruit Fruitfulness produces undeniable outcomes in the believer's life: a. Fruit Glorifies God — John 15:8 Your fruit is evidence that God is working through you. b. Fruit Proves Discipleship — John 15:8 A true disciple is known by the results their life produces. c. Fruit Brings Personal Joy — John 15:11 Spiritual productivity leads to deep joy and fulfillment. d. Fruit Influences the World — Matthew 5:16 Your good works shine light and draw people to Christ. 3. Types of Fruits Every Christian Must Bear 1. The Fruit of the Spirit — Galatians 5:22–23 This fruit reflects the character of Christ in the believer. The nine traits include: Love Joy Peace Longsuffering Kindness Goodness Faithfulness Gentleness Self-control These are not nine different fruits, but one fruit with nine expressions. 2. The Fruit of Righteousness — Philippians 1:11; Hebrews 12:11 Produced through obedience to God and sensitivity to the Spirit. Righteousness leads to right living and right actions. 3. The Fruit of Repentance — Matthew 3:8; Acts 26:20 True repentance produces visible change. Turning away from sin is evidence of genuine salvation. 4. The Fruit of the Lips — Hebrews 13:15 The fruit of praise and thanksgiving. A believer who abides in Christ expresses gratitude continually. 5. The Fruit of Good Works — Colossians 1:10; Titus 3:8; Matthew 5:16 Good works reveal inward faith through outward actions. This fruit blesses other people and glorifies God. 6. The Fruit of Soul-Winning — Romans 1:13; Proverbs 11:30 Paul called his converts “fruit.” Every believer is expected to reproduce spiritually by winning souls. 7. The Fruit of Generosity — Philippians 4:17; 2 Corinthians 9:10 Giving is spiritual fruit credited to the believer's account. Generosity reflects a heart of love, stewardship, and sacrifice. CONCLUSION (PART 2) Part 2 expands on what fruitfulness looks like in the Christian life. Fruit-bearing is not limited to character alone — it includes righteousness, repentance, worship, good works, soul-winning, and generosity. A fruitful Christian is one whose life produces consistent, visible, and spiritual results that glorify God and edify others.
TOPIC: Understanding Christian Fruitfulness — Part 1 PREACHER: Rev. Dr. Ebenezer Okronipa SCRIPTURES: John 15:1–8 Jeremiah 3:15 Matthew 25:14–30 KEY POINTS (PART 1) 1. Introduction to Christian Fruitfulness Fruitfulness is God's expectation for every believer. God does not save us to remain barren or unproductive. Jesus introduces the foundation of fruitfulness in John 15:1, describing: Himself as the True Vine The Father as the Vine Dresser Believers as the branches The health and productivity of the branch depends entirely on its connection. 2. The Parable of the Talents — A Picture of Fruitfulness
Today's teaching unpacks Jesus' own explanation of the Parable of the Sower (Matthew 13:18–23) and why it's the “master key” to understanding every other parable. Rick and Doc stress Jesus' solemn call—“Hear ye therefore”—as an invitation to active listening and willing hearts. Drawing from Luke 8:11–15 and G. Campbell Morgan's rules, they show that Jesus is the Sower, the Word is the seed, and people who receive the Word are “sown” by the Lord into the world's places of pain. Fruitfulness is determined by the heart's condition: wayside, rocky, thorny, or good ground. We're urged to let the Holy Spirit plow our hearts, cut away the thorns of distraction, and bear lasting fruit—thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold—for the King's harvest.Teachers: Rick Wiles and Doc BurkhartYou can partner with us by visiting FaithandValues.com, calling 1-888-519-4935, or by mail at PO Box 399 Vero Beach, FL 32961.MEGA FIRE reveals the ancient recurring cycles of war and economic collapse that have shaped history for 600 years. This is Part 2 of a 2 part series. Watch the previous episode for Part 1.Is prosperity really part of God's plan for your life? In this powerful and thought-provoking message, Rev Paul Jeyachandran unpacks Deuteronomy 8:7–18 to reveal God's heart for His people to prosper—spiritually, materially, and missionally. This sermon goes beyond the surface to explore:
Kyle invites former youth worker and middle school volunteer Reagan Rose to join the podcast to talk about productivity. What does it look like for youth workers to prune their schedules? What things do we say "no" to? How do we avoid burnout? What are practical ways we can ensure that our schedules are focused on the right things? Kyle and Reagan talk about all these issues and then turn to addressing productivity with our students. Reagan offers us some Scripture passages we can focus on ourselves, as well as teach our students.

Fruitfulness | Apostle Moses Mukisa
Connecting people to a life-changing relationship with Jesus.
Fruitfulness in affliction is a recurring theme in the Bible. God uses unpleasant seasons and situations to realign, refocus, and refine our character, deepen our faith in Him, in order to produce lasting fruits. It is a pathway less traveled, yet we can tell from Joseph's life & others that it leads to the most fruit for the Kingdom of God. Be blessed as you listen.

Introduction: As I was preparing the message this morning and thinking about how I wanted to begin, I thought about asking the question: “How many of you have ever gone wine tasting?” However, I thought that might not be the best way to start out considering that we are Baptists here. In the final week of the Go Grow series, Pastor unpacks the final stage of spiritual growth — moving from being close to God to living a God-centered life. The journey of discipleship follows this rhythm:Grace brings you in. Truth builds you up. Giving pours you out.The parable of the sower (Matthew 13) reminds us that different soils represent different hearts. To become God-centered, our hearts must become good soil — soft, surrendered, and ready to multiply what God plants in us.Key Points• The Bridge to Being God-Centered is Giving. God doesn't need what's in your hand — He wants what's in your heart. True giving is not about subtraction; it's about surrender.• The Way You Handle What's in Your Hand Shows Who Holds Your Heart. Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also (Matthew 6:21). Treasure exposes trust.• Faithful Soil Multiplies; Fearful Soil Buries. In God's Kingdom, what you release is never lost — it's multiplied. Fear makes us hold tightly, but faith releases freely.• When the Heart is Truly God's, the Outcome Looks Disproportionate to the Input. A surrendered life yields fruit far beyond human ability — 30, 60, even 100-fold.• Generosity Determines Lordship. You can't serve both God and Mammon. Giving confronts Mammon's claim on your heart; bringing your first and best to God breaks it.• Good Soil Produces Legacy, Not Just Memories. Fruitfulness in the Kingdom outlives us. Seeds sown in faith will continue multiplying long after we're gone.Practical Applications• Practice First Fruits: Give first, not last. Train your heart to trust your Source.• Build Margin: Create space in your budget and schedule for generosity.• Hidden Generosity: Give without applause to strengthen your trust in God.• Fast from Buying: Break reflexive consumption and reset your heart's priorities.• Name Your Idol: Identify what you fear releasing and surrender it to Christ. When we release control, resources, and pride — God multiplies our obedience into legacy. Good soil never stops producing fruit, because it's rooted in surrender.
The 'season of mists and mellow fruitfulness,' as John Keats put it, is well and truly with us. Have you noticed the vast amounts of fruits, seeds and berries around this year? That's because it's a mast year. Terry Flanagan went to meet Dr. Matthew Jebb, Director of the gardens at the National Botanic Gardens, to find out all about mast years.

In this episode, we talk with Zach Lambert, lead pastor of Restore Church in Austin, Texas. We discuss the complexities of interpreting the Bible and the ways it can be misused or misunderstood. Lambert outlines his new book, 'Better Ways to Read the Bible,' which identifies harmful interpretive lenses—Literalism, Apocalypse, Moralism, and Hierarchy—and proposes alternatives—Jesus, Context, Flourishing, and Fruitfulness. He emphasizes that the Bible should promote healing and justice rather than violence and oppression. The conversation also examines how these interpretations are applied in social and political contexts, highlighting the significance of faith-based activism and community engagement. Zach will be joining us to discuss his book on this month's RLC book club, which you can register to watch for free: September Book Club Connect with Zach • Better Ways to Read the Bible: Better Ways to Read the Bible – Baker Book House • Zach on Instagram: @zachwlambert • Restore Austine: RESTORE AUSTIN | Join Our Community Today Connect with RLC • Help sustain the work of RLC: www.redletterchristians.org/donate/ • To check out what RLC is up to, please visit us www.redletterchristians.org • Follow us on Twitter: @RedLetterXians • Instagram: @RedLetterXians • Follow Shane on Instagram: @shane.claiborne • Twitter: @ShaneClaiborne

In Luke 13:1–9, Jesus calls us to examine our hearts through repentance and to bear fruit that reflects a life turned toward God. Building on last week's focus on living ready for Christ's return, this teaching shows that readiness is impossible without repentance — without it, there is no fruit and no life. Jesus uses two tragedies — Pilate's slaughter of Galileans and the collapse of the Tower of Siloam — to shift our focus from speculating about others to examining ourselves. Repentance (metanoia) is more than regret; it's a complete change of mind and direction, a daily turning from sin and self toward God. It's not a punishment but a gift that leads to joy, renewal, and a deeper relationship with Him. Through the parable of the barren fig tree, we see God's expectation for His people to bear fruit and His patience in giving us opportunities to respond. This message explores what that fruit looks like in practice — from forgiveness and generosity to growth in the Spirit and turning from idols — and challenges us to live lives of ongoing repentance as we await Christ's return. ✅ Key Points: • Why repentance is central to Christian life and readiness • Jesus' response to tragedy: self-examination over speculation • What true repentance means and how it transforms direction • The daily practice of repentance and its connection to abundant life • God's expectation of fruit and the urgency to bear it • Practical examples of fruitfulness: forgiveness, generosity, growth, and turning from idols
One moment Elijah is standing in victory on Mount Carmel. The next, he's weary, discouraged, and ready to quit. How do you finish well when life feels heavy and faith feels small? In this finale from 1 Kings 19 through 2 Kings 2, Pastor Joby takes us through Elijah's last chapters where fear, failure, and frailty meet the faithfulness of God. From the still small voice in the cave to the fiery chariots of heaven, we discover that God is not finished with His people. He calls us to raise up the next generation, to walk in both Word and power, and to trust His promises all the way to the end. If you've ever wondered whether your past disqualifies you, or whether God can use you after your darkest days, Elijah's story is a reminder: it's not how you start, but how you finish.
Have you ever walked through a spiritual drought? When life feels dry, doubts weigh heavy, and you wonder if you’ll ever feel God’s presence again? Isaiah 58:11 reminds us that the Lord guides us continually, even in scorched places, and makes us like a well-watered garden. Spiritual fruitfulness doesn’t come from our own striving but from surrendering to God’s leading, satisfaction, and strength. When we allow Him to guide our steps, fill our longings, and strengthen our weary bones, we will find refreshment and renewal—even in the wilderness. In today’s episode, Jessica Van Roekel reminds us that God is our living water, bracing us in weakness and filling us with satisfaction again and again. When we rely on Him, our lives become springs of comfort to others, bearing fruit that points to His glory. Main Takeaways God guides us by turning His face toward us and leading us step by step. His satisfaction is ongoing—He fills us again and again, even in dry seasons. He braces us with strength when we feel like we can’t go on. True fruitfulness flows from surrender to God and blesses others around us.
