CURRENT SERIES - The Space Between Lent calls us into the wilderness—not to reduce our lives to easy answers, but to sit honestly with tension, ambiguity, and transformation. We live in an either/or world that insists on sides, binaries, and quick conclusions. Yet the Gospel of Luke reveals a different way: a faith shaped not by rigid opposites, but by the holy space between them. We will journey with Jesus through moments where life refuses to be neatly divided—and real transformation takes place not at the extremes, but in the living, breathing tension of life and faith.
In today's chapel, Nathan Spoke to us about freedom from the law. Today's chapel frame was Renewed Mind.
Fruitfulness in Every Season! "He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper."Psalm 1:3 Stay connected, keep producing, andyour persistence will redesign the season. Imagine an orchard bursting with life, its trees laden with twelve varieties of fruit, each one vibrant and rich. This image reminds us of the abundant life Jesus promises us. In John15:5, He declares, "I am the vine; you are the branches." Just as a branch that remains connected to the vine bears fruit, we too are called to cultivate our spiritual growth and generously share our gifts with others. Jesus once encountered a fig treethat bore no fruit. In Mark 11, He cursed this barren tree, a bold reminder that lack of fruitfulness can serve as a wake-up call. Our lives should mirror that fruitful orchard, both nurturing and nourishing those around us. Thisstory invites us to reflect on our spiritual lives and to examine the fruits we are offering to the world. Galatians 5:22-23 says, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law." Psalm 1:3 beautifully expresses the idea of fruitfulness and a faithful person: “He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season.” Each of us has unique gifts and talents ready to be shared, just as each tree in an orchardcontributes to the harvest. We are encouraged to be proactive, planning acts of kindness and generosity that can positively impact those we encounter. As we embody the fruits of the Spirit, outlined in Galatians 5:22-23, we become conduits of love, joy, peace, and kindness. Each action taken in love is like a healthy root, promising a fruitful life. Remember the quote, “Healthy roots guarantee fruitful shoots.”Nurturing our spiritual roots helps us to remain steadfast and grow abundantly. Amen. John 15:5 says, "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." Amen. Prayer for the Day! Lord, I thank You for Fruitfulnessin Every Season. My Father, My Father, grant me abiding life that naturally overflows with the fruit of Your spirit. May I reflect Your love in my actions and cultivate kindness in every interaction. Help me to keep producing and abounding in all that I do, so that I may nourish those around me and glorifyyour name. In Jesus name. Amen.

What happens when a “conservative Bible college kid” becomes a Spirit-filled father-hearted leader… after walking through heartbreak, foster care adoption, trauma, near-death burnout, and a personal encounter with Jesus? In this episode of Greater Formation & Power, Coach Tom sits down with Devin Schubert (aka “the man in orange”) for a raw, hope-filled conversation about:· Devin's journey from Midwestern Christian roots and rebellion → to ministry and a deeper “yes” to God· 15 years in child welfare, building foster-care support through local churches, and what the Church often misses about caring for families in crisis· Parenting through severe trauma and mental health challenges — and how chronic stress nearly took his life· A powerful encounter with Jesus… and why Devin's healing came through a process, not just an instant moment· The maturity shift: don't chase signs and wonders — chase the Father· What to do when God feels silent: learning to “find Him in everything,” not just listen for a voice· Why naming your struggle isn't “negative confession” — it's often the first step to surrender and freedom· Devin's burden: releasing the Father's love in a way that brings healing, deliverance, and deep safety· A Nehemiah-style framework for calling: fasting/praying for the plan, then bringing it to the King for favor and protection· Devin's mission: helping a million people share their stories across media — because your story is part of your purposeDevin closes by praying a tender, powerful prayer for healing — especially for those carrying pain connected to fathers or father-figures. Have you ever considered that some of the beliefs shaping your life… aren't actually true? Most of us didn't choose “lies” on purpose. They formed slowly—through words spoken over us, painful experiences, and moments when we were just trying to make sense of life. But those beliefs don't just affect how we think… they shape how we live.In this podcast, I'll help you:Recognize the lies you may be believing about yourself, God, others, and lifeSee two primary ways lies get exposed (God's revelation + people's truth)Learn a simple pathway to overturn them: humility, teachability, God's perspective, honest friendships, and wise mentorsBecause the good news is real: the lies you learned can be unlearned.Fruitfulness follows clarity—and clarity begins when truth replaces false agreements.Reflection questions:What false perspective is God addressing in you right now? What are you doing to respond to it?Who have you invited to speak truth into your life? What might God be surfacing “under the surface” that needs action?__________________________You can connect with Coach Tom at:https://greaterformation.com/Email: Tom@GreaterFormation.com P.S. ... In Mark chapter 4, we shift from rapid action into Jesus’ teaching—especially through parables, stories that place a familiar picture beside a spiritual truth and invite us to wrestle with what God is saying. This chapter is full of abundance language, which is why I’m calling it “How to Be Wealthy.” Jesus begins with the parable of the sower, and then He explains what it means: the seed is the Word of God, and the “soil” is what happens inside a person as they hear it. We see four outcomes—seed snatched away, seed that sprouts fast but has no root, seed choked by worries and wealth and desires, and seed that lands in good soil and multiplies. The invitation isn’t Bible trivia; it’s transformation. Jesus is showing us that true wealth is the abundance of God’s kingdom—a rich life marked by fruit, freedom, and spiritual growth. And the question becomes deeply personal: what is choking the Word in me—and how can I cultivate good soil so the Word can take root and produce? What We Cover: Parables require attention: Jesus teaches in stories to invite curiosity, openness, and deeper engagement—not passive listening. The seed is the Word: the central issue is what happens to God’s Word inside a person over time. The threat isn’t always “bad things”: worry, wealth’s deception, and competing desires can quietly choke what God is growing. Fruitfulness is connected to reception: hearing isn’t the same as accepting—accepting the Word involves repentance, turning, and letting truth reshape reality. Abundance is God’s work: you cultivate depth; God brings the multiplication. A rich life is kingdom-rich: wealth is redefined as a life full of God’s presence, freedom, love, and fruit—not merely money or influence. A practical diagnostic: identify what consistently chokes the Word in you, and remove or limit it so your heart can become good soil. The Fig Tree and the Fruit of the Kingdom: Producing Spiritual Fruitfulness by John Wasserman
Sunday, February 22, 2026 I Luke 18:1-8 NLT To support the ministry: Online: www.woffamily.org/give Text: Text "WOF" to 73256 Mail In: Word of Faith Family Worship Cathedral - 212 Riverside Pkwy, Austell, GA 30168
I. Introduction: The Message and Mission of Victory Church Overview of the Victory Church podcast: teaching and worship messages. Church mission: reaching the lost, restoring the broken, reviving believers. Central theme: the faithfulness of God — His dependability, reliability, and trustworthiness. II. Understanding God's Faithfulness Our faith rests not on our faithfulness, but on God's proven record. Encouragement to know, memorize, meditate on, and live by the Word of God. God's faithfulness remains constant despite life's ups and downs. III. Lesson from 2 Chronicles 16:7–10 — King Asa and the Prophet Hanani The prophet (“seer”) rebuked Asa for relying on human power instead of God. The “eyes of the Lord” search the earth for loyal hearts to strengthen. Asa's foolish anger at correction serves as a warning against pride and spiritual resistance. IV. The Role of Prophets, Pastors, and Counselors God speaks through His servants to bring clarity and correction. The danger of isolation: believers need pastors, accountability, and spiritual community. The “one another” principles of the New Testament — loving, praying for, and encouraging one another. V. The Importance of Church and Unity Jesus Himself regularly attended worship. Countering cultural messages that say believers don't need church or pastors. The power of unity — believers praying, worshiping, and standing together. VI. Relying on God, Not Natural Thinking Asa's mistake: trusting human wisdom instead of divine guidance. Distractions and deception are the enemy's primary tools. The Word of God renews the mind and guards against subtle lies. VII. The Power and Necessity of the Word The Word is a hammer that breaks strongholds and transforms hearts. Sermons and Scripture are tools for shaping believers — not short motivational talks. The preaching of the Word remains essential even when unpopular. VIII. Staying Teachable and Humbly Receiving Correction King Asa's downfall was pride and resistance to counsel. Believers should remain humble, lifelong learners open to godly wisdom. Experience becomes true learning only when processed through the Word and wisdom. IX. God's Faithfulness and Our Loyal Hearts God seeks loyal, not perfect, hearts. Loyalty involves repentance, humility, and trust. God desires to show Himself strong for His people just as He has in the past. X. Bearing Fruit at Every Stage of Life Believers can bear fruit even in old age. Mentorship: older generations have wisdom to pass on to younger ones. Fruitfulness includes spiritual influence and discipleship, not just activity. XI. Conclusion: A Call to Worship and Renewal God's character is unchanging—He remains faithful even when we are faithless. Invitation to pray, worship, and recommit to trusting God. Affirmation that God continues to work, bless, and restore His people through His faithfulness.

The sermon centers on the biblical call to spiritual fruitfulness rooted in abiding in Christ, drawing from John 15:7–8 to emphasize that genuine prayer and lasting spiritual growth are inseparable from remaining in Christ and allowing His words to dwell within. It highlights two dimensions of fruitfulness—conversions and Christ-like character—both of which require divine empowerment and intentional discipleship. The preacher underscores that effective prayer is not merely petitioning but arises from deep spiritual alignment, informed by Scripture and shaped by experience, as illustrated through personal reflections on leadership and ministry. He calls the audience to prayerful engagement, linking their intercession to God's ongoing work in the life of the institution and the broader church, especially as it approaches a significant milestone. The tone is both pastoral and prophetic, inviting believers to participate in God's redemptive purposes with faith, humility, and purpose.

This episode of the Mountain Podcast centers on the biblical call to “multiply,” drawing from Genesis 1, Matthew 28, and Luke 10 to emphasize that every believer is called not only to follow Jesus but to actively make disciples through love, obedience, and everyday faithfulness. Samuel explains that spiritual fruitfulness is a natural result of a healthy relationship with God and challenges listeners to move beyond passive consumption of church services into intentional participation in the Great Commission—praying for others, sharing faith, practicing obedience, and showing compassion in practical ways. Through teachings on discipleship, humility, and the Good Samaritan, the message reframes multiplication as living out Christlike love in daily life, trusting God to reshape priorities, prune distractions, and mobilize believers to serve their families, workplaces, and communities with grace and courage.
Listen to this week's sermon, Parables In Practice preached by Rev. Benjamin Kandt from Luke 5:36-39.
We explore John 15 to show why abiding in Jesus is the only way to lasting fruit and joy. We talk about pruning as love, priorities that protect our yes, and how kingdom impact outgrows personal success, then close with a guided prayer.• Jesus as the true vine and the Father as vinedresser• Abiding as continual presence that resources life• The gap between cultural success and eternal longing• Pruning as love that safeguards long-term fruit• Priorities that defend your yes with many noes• Shifting from personal empire to kingdom movement• The Huffer cart analogy for spiritual power• Fruitfulness aimed at serving others, not self• A closing prayer of submission and trustPray this prayer. Heavenly Father, I come to you as the vine dresser of my life. I confess that I cannot bear fruit on my own. I need to abide in you to thrive. Lord, I submit to your pruning hand. I ask that you cut away every branch in me that hinders my walk with you, my pride, my selfish ambitions, and my unproductive habits. Though I know the pruning process may be painful, I trust that you are cutting away only that which is necessary for me to bear more fruit. Strengthen me in my weakness. Remind me of your love for me, and help me to trust you in your wisdom for the season, the season of growth. Cleanse my heart, Lord, and remove anything that draws me away from you. I desire to reflect your image and to walk in your ways, so that my life may bring glory to yours. In Jesus' name. Amen. Thanks for listening! Follow us on Facebook or YouTube.
In John 15, Jesus invites us to abide in Him for the purpose of bearingmuch fruit to the Father's glory. In the message today, Pastor Darrell challenges us to consider how the Lord might produce more fruit in us as we abide in Him, proving ourselves to be His disciple-making disciples.

Pastor Darrell continues encouraging us as we look again at John 15:1-17 and abiding in Christ.
Fruit is seasonal—and so are we. This devotional begins with a simple picture of how produce changes depending on the time of year: fresh, vibrant options at a farmer’s market in spring and summer, and a different kind of supply in winter. That rhythm becomes a gentle metaphor for the spiritual life. Jesus calls us to bear fruit that lasts, but what happens when we feel like we’re in a “winter season”—spiritually dry, emotionally worn down, or stuck in a place that feels barren? John 15 reminds us that fruitfulness isn’t ultimately about our effort—it’s about abiding. Jesus is the Vine, and we are the branches. When life feels hard and hope feels thin, the temptation is to fixate on the season itself—how long it’s lasting, how painful it is, and why it won’t change. But the devotional offers a reframing: winter can actually be a time of growth beneath the surface. Just as roots grow deeper during colder months, difficult seasons can strengthen our spiritual foundation if we keep our eyes on Christ and stay connected to Him. The warning is also real: isolation is dangerous in winter. When we disconnect from God’s Word and from other believers, despair can set in, and we become more vulnerable to discouragement. That’s why community matters. The devotional encourages finding “oaks of righteousness”—faithful people who can pray with you, check in, study Scripture alongside you, and help keep you anchored when your own strength feels limited. Sometimes, when you’re struggling to hold onto the Vine, God uses others to help nourish you with encouragement and truth. The hope is this: if you continue to abide in Jesus, fruit will come again. Even if the season doesn’t change quickly, God is still tending you. The Vine-dresser cares for you, chose you, and intends for your life to bear lasting fruit—no matter what season you’re in. Main Takeaways Spiritual life has seasons; “winter” seasons can feel barren but can still be deeply formative. Fruitfulness comes from abiding in Jesus, not striving in your own strength. Winter can be a time for roots to grow deeper—strength that forms beneath the surface. Isolation makes difficult seasons harder; community provides nourishment and encouragement. God is faithful in every season and can produce lasting fruit through your life, even in suffering. Today’s Bible Verse “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.” - John 15:16, ESV Your Daily Prayer Here is a brief excerpt from today’s prayer: “Help me to abide in the Vine… May You use my life to bear lasting fruit in every season, no matter how difficult.” You can listen to the full prayer here or read the devotional at the links below. "Am I really one of those who depend upon their mental prayer, their visits to the Blessed Sacrament, above all upon their Mass or their Communion, to put real moving power into their preaching? If I am not, I may perhaps be a loudly 'tinkling cymbal,' or even give forth the more pompous din of 'sounding brass,' but I am not communicating to others any love, that love which makes the eloquence of the friends of God impossible to resist." What if the real sign of wealth isn't your bank account, but the number of kids around your dinner table? Chocolate Knox from CrossPolitic joins Refining Rhetoric to flip the script on modern family planning. With seven kids and counting, Knox shares why he and his wife decided to "replace the stupid people" in their family lineage and create a new generation that honors God. Discover how God has faithfully provided through every season, from figuring out how to fit everyone in one vehicle to navigating the transition from public school indoctrination to classical Christian education. Knox unpacks why the church bears responsibility for America's decline, how the feminist movement is already showing its cracks (yes, even in the Barbie movie), and why black families especially should flee government schools. Plus, practical advice for young singles on how to inflation-proof their future and set themselves up for the silk life: single income, lots of kids. This conversation challenges the lie that children are a financial burden and reveals them as the generational wealth investment God always intended. If you're tired of the dink (double income, no kids) propaganda and ready to embrace biblical fruitfulness, this episode is for you. The readings for this homily: https://bible.usccb.org/bible/readings/011426.cfmFather Chris Alar, MIC, reflects on the heart of the discernment of every vocation: learning to listen to God. Vocation is not just about priesthood or religious life — it is the unique call God has placed in your life. Marriage, single life, priesthood, religious life — each is holy, each is purposeful, and each is a path to sanctity when lived in prayer and trust.God speaks more often than we realize: through Scripture, the teachings of the Church, the Liturgy, the neighbors He places in our lives, and some of the quiet movements of our hearts. But to hear Him, we must create space for silence. Prayer is not only talking to God; it is letting God speak.Father Chris reminds us that God does not waste a single moment. Even seasons that feel uncertain, temporary, or difficult are part of His providential plan. What matters is the courage to say yes, even when the path involves sacrifice. Fruitfulness — not comfort — is the measure of a life lived for Christ.Every vocation requires trust. Every vocation includes a cross. But every vocation, faithfully lived, becomes a powerful witness of God's mercy, truth, and love in the world. Are we listening when God calls? ★ Support this podcast ★

As the new year begins, this episode is a word of encouragement for Abrahamic fathers who are carrying more than most people ever see. For the dads who shoulder responsibility quietly. For the husbands who keep showing up. For the men who serve God and their families faithfully—even when no one applauds. It's easy to lose sight of why we're doing all of this. In this special New Year's address, Steven calls fathers back to their divine assignment: to love their wives as Christ loved the Church, to die daily for the good of their families, and to lead with sacrificial strength. This isn't about hype or resolutions—it's about faithfulness, holiness, and stewarding every area of life God has entrusted to you. As we step into 2026, this is your reminder: what you do matters. Your obedience matters. Your quiet sacrifices matter. The Kingdom starts at home. About Abraham's Wallet: Abraham's Wallet exists to inspire and equip Biblical family leaders. But on the night before His crucifixion, Jesus offered His disciples something radically different. In a moment filled with uncertainty, anxiety, and transition, He revealed the true secrets to a fruitful life—not through striving, but through connection.A Moment of TransitionJohn 15 isn't a traditional “New Year's passage,” but it may be the most important chapter for stepping into a new season. Jesus and His disciples are in the Upper Room. He has washed their feet. They've shared the Last Supper. Judas has already left. The weight of what's coming hangs heavy in the air. This moment feels like a final speech—Jesus preparing His closest followers for life without His physical presence. Twice in John 14, He tells them not to let their hearts be troubled or afraid. And yet, they clearly are.We can relate. None of us knows what awaits us in the coming year. We don't know what challenges, changes, or losses might be ahead. So how can we live without fear? Jesus answers that question in John 15.Secret #1: Think Like a Producer, Not a ConsumerJesus begins with a metaphor:John 15:1–2 (NLT) – “I am the true grapevine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn't produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more.”The disciples were likely confused. They were focused on themselves—Why are you leaving us? Why can't we go with you? But Jesus flips the perspective. He shifts the focus outward.Fruitfulness isn't about self-improvement; it's about impact.A consumer mindset asks, What do I get out of this?A producer mindset asks, What can God do through me?This changes everything—our marriages, our parenting, our work, our church involvement. Instead of seeing ourselves as victims of circumstances, we begin asking how we can bring peace, serve others, and make disciples. Jesus had just modeled this by washing His disciples' feet.A fruitful life starts when we stop making it all about us.Secret #2: Stay Connected to the VineJesus continues:John 15:4–5 (NLT) – “Remain in me, and I will remain in you… For apart from me you can do nothing.”The image is organic, not mechanical. Branches don't strive to produce fruit; they simply stay connected. This runs counter to how we're wired. We're taught to maximize effort, build better habits, and dig deeper into ourselves. But Jesus says fruit comes from abiding—learning the art of being with Him.That's harder than it sounds. Many of us are good at doing things for God, but not being with God. Remaining requires intentional...

Seven Ways to Know You're in the Will of God • Sunday Service Website: www.PastorTodd.org To give: www.ToddCoconato.com/give Seven Ways to Know You're in the Will of God (And How You Know When You're Not) Let me tell you something up front: The will of God is not a mystery! Religion paints this picture like God is hiding His will from you, and you've got to stumble around in the dark hoping you trip into it. No! God's will is clear, God's will is knowable, and God's will brings you into blessing and kingdom advancement. If you're not in the will of God, you're wasting time, spinning your wheels, and giving the devil a foothold in your life. But when you're in His will, you don't just survive—you multiply, you advance, and you shake the nations for Christ. 1. Peace in Your Spirit Scripture: “And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.” — Colossians 3:15 (NKJV) 2. Confirmation by the Word of God Scripture: “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” — Psalm 119:105 (NKJV) 3. Fruitfulness and Multiplication Scripture: “You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?” — Matthew 7:16 (NKJV) 4. Open Doors by God's Hand Scripture: “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.” — Revelation 3:8 (NKJV) 5. The Witness of the Holy Spirit Scripture: “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.” — Romans 8:16 (NKJV) 6. Provision in the Assignment Scripture: “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:19 (NKJV) 7. Advancing the Kingdom of God Scripture: “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” — Matthew 6:33 (NKJV) How You Know You're NOT in the Will of God Let me hit this quickly and clearly. The Bible shows us markers of being outside His will: 1. Confusion and unrest. “For God is not the author of confusion but of peace.” — 1 Corinthians 14:33 (NKJV) 2. Compromise against Scripture. “But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you… let him be accursed.” — Galatians 1:8 (NKJV) 3. Lack of fruit. “If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered.” — John 15:6 (NKJV) 4. Constant striving with no breakthrough. “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.” — Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NKJV) 5. Ignoring conviction. “And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.” — Ephesians 4:30 (NKJV) 6. Living in lack. “You have sown much, and bring in little… he who earns wages, earns wages to put into a bag with holes.” — Haggai 1:6 (NKJV) 7. Self-glory instead of God's glory. “I am the Lord, that is My name; and My glory I will not give to another.” — Isaiah 42:8 (NKJV) Conclusion Friend, the will of God is not something you have to stumble into—it's something you step into by faith and obedience. When you're in His will, peace rules your heart, doors open, fruit multiplies, provision flows, and the Kingdom advances. When you're out of it, confusion reigns, doors slam shut, provision dries up, and your life feels like pushing a boulder uphill. Make up your mind tonight: I will live in the center of God's will. I will not be distracted. I will not compromise. I will not settle. Because when you're in His will—you're unstoppable.
This episode explores the theme of "being the head and not the tail," drawing from Deuteronomy 28 to encourage listeners to shift from a mindset of bondage and subservience to one of leadership and obedience to God. Samuel emphasizes that blessings follow faithful submission and obedience, contrasting the generational effects of living in freedom versus captivity. Practical examples illustrate how spiritual and financial freedom can be cultivated over time, impacting future generations. The episode closes with a call to embrace obedience, patience, and a lifestyle distinct from worldly patterns, trusting that God equips and blesses those who follow His ways.
