We will start a new sermon series called Cross Words. These sermons will go through the Bible and look at what the Bible teaches us about the cross. We will begin by looking at how the Old Testament points towards the cross. Pastor Jonker will preach on Genesis 3: 21-24.

SERVE Sunday! Our SERVE speaker, Reverend Jen Rozema, will be leading us in worship and her sermon will be based on 1 Kings 19.

We welcome guest minister, Rev. Reggie Smith to lead us in worship. He will use 2 Samuel 9 as his Bible text, and his sermon is titled “Kindness,”

This Sunday morning we had looked forward to welcoming one of LaGrave's missionaries, Reverend Steve VanZanen, to LaGrave's pulpit. Due to a critical medical concern for his infant grandson, Rev. VanZanen will not be preaching this weekend.

We will begin our summer sermon series called Faith 101. This series is designed to increase our knowledge of basic Christian doctrine. Using the Contemporary Testimony as our guide, we will hear 10 sermons explaining some of the basics of our beliefs. Pastor Jonker will start the series with a sermon on Genesis 1 and the 12th paragraph of the Testimony.

We will hear the third sermon in our mini sermon series on God's covenant in the Old Testament. Pastor Jonker will preach on Exodus 24, a story where God feasts with the elders of Israel on a mountain.

We will continue our mini sermon series highlighting three of God's promises from the Old Testament. Pastor Jonker will preach on Genesis 22, and the promise God made to Abraham.

We will celebrate the installation of new elders and deacons. Pastor Jonker will preach on Matthew 20:20-28, a text which will help us think about leadership in the church.

It's GEMS Sunday. Pastor Jonker will preach on the text the girls have been studying all year: Romans 12:2—a verse that calls us to be transformed by the renewing of our mind.

We will celebrate our Lord's resurrection at both our 8:40 and 11:00 services! There will be brass and the choir will sing. Pastor Jonker will preach. We praise God for the grace and faithfulness represented in the celebrations this week and we hope many of you will be able to join us at these services.

It's Palm Sunday! There will be a palm processional, and Reverend Kristy Manion will lead us in worship, preaching on the ninth commandment “you shall not commit false testimony.”

We continue our "The Shape of Love" sermon series, a series that focuses on the last 6 of the ten commandments. These are the commandments which help us understand how to love our neighbors. Reverend Jonker will preach on the commandment: You Shall Not Steal.

We will have a guest pastor. Reverend Scott Hoezee, the director for the Center for Excellence in Preaching at Calvin Seminary will lead us. He will preach on John 8:48-59 and his sermon title is "Who Do You Think You Are?"
