We may be out of October, but the tricks keep coming. This week, Trevin brings his cats back into the spotlight after buying a Kitty Kurlz Infinity Scratcher—a purchase that ends up impressing him far more than his feline children. Meanwhile, Amanda deals with a different kind of domestic chaos as every major appliance in her new home breaks at once. With no microwave, dishwasher, or dryer, she begins her reluctant journey into inner tradwife territory. Trevin's Killer Fact dives into unproven remedies and folklore, sparked by a recent article about an older Chinese woman who believed swallowing frogs had healing powers—and the painful consequences that followed. Amanda follows up with another bizarre historical phenomenon: the Kentucky Meat Shower of 1876. From theories about falling meat, to likely origins, to whether anyone actually tasted it, the mystery unfolds in all its unsettling glory. During Storytime, Trevin adapts a petty crime headline into a tale filled with grief, funerals, and emotional misdirection. After 74-year-old Mohan Lal unexpectedly passes away, his village gathers for a dramatic funeral procession that leads to the newly built crematorium—and an unexpected twist. Amanda then covers the case of Karen Clark, a St. Louis woman who spent eight years battling debt collectors and police calls after a bizarre identity theft. When a second Karen enters the picture, the confusion skyrockets. In this petty crime saga, two Karens might actually make a right. Both stories this week are tied together by fraud, deception, and identity mischief. So bring a sturdy umbrella—and trust no one—because it's raining meat and deceit. Is this the future of MAGA?Tucker Carlson's interview with the white nationalist influencer Nick Fuentes has caused a firestorm on the right. Carlson and Fuentes's friendly chat about American Jews — whether they fit into this country or were loyal to Israel above all — was the kind of conversation that for decades would have been unimaginable among mainstream figures in politics. And by crossing that line, Carlson was making a statement — about the power of Fuentes's movement and the future of MAGA.To help me think through this, I wanted to talk to the political writer John Ganz. He's studied the roots of antisemitism on the right and has followed the evolution of MAGA closely. He's behind the newsletter Unpopular Front and the author of “When the Clock Broke: Con Men, Conspiracists, and How America Cracked Up in the Early 1990s.”This episode contains strong language.Mentioned:“Unpopular Front” by John Ganz“Finding Neverland” by John Ganz“Groyperfication” by John GanzBook Recommendations:Taking America Back by David Austin WalshFurious Minds by Laura K. On her deathbed Elizabeth I named the Scottish James VI as her successor, ensuring a smooth transition from the Tudor to Stuart monarchies. That, at least, is what we've long believed. But an explosive new discovery casts doubt on this version of events, suggesting that the Stuart succession was far less secure than we may have thought. In her new book, //The Stolen Crown//, historian Tracy Borman draws on this research to paint a vivid new picture of these turbulent years, which she explores in conversation with Rob Attar. PREVIEW The conversation explores the surprising rise in accommodation between the Trump administration (Trump 2) and Pakistan, contrasting sharply with the previous term when Trump famously accused Pakistan of "lies and deceit." Pakistan's de facto ruler, General Asim Munir, has had two White House meetings, and Trump calls him his "favorite field marshal." Meanwhile, India, now hit with high tariffs (50%), has moved into the "back row," while Pakistan enjoys a low 19% tariff rate. Guest: Sadanand Dhume. 1914 KARACHI
In the long and dramatic annals of British history, no transition from one monarch to another has been as fraught and consequential as that which ended the Tudor dynasty and launched the Stuart in March 1603. At her death, Elizabeth I had reigned for 44 turbulent years, facing many threats, whether external from Spain or internal from her cousin Mary, Queen of Scots. But no danger was greater than the uncertainty over who would succeed her, which only intensified as her reign lengthened. Her unwillingness to marry or name a successor gave rise to fierce rivalry between blood claimants to the throne—Mary and her son, James VI of Scotland, Arbella Stuart, Lady Katherine Grey, Henry Hastings, and more—which threatened to destabilize the monarchy. As acclaimed Tudor historian Dr. Tracy Borman reveals in The Stolen Crown: Treachery, Deceit, and the Death of the Tudor Dynasty (Grove Atlantic, 2025), according to Elizabeth's earliest biographer, William Camden, in his history of her reign, on her deathbed the queen indicated James was her chosen heir, and indeed he did become king soon after she died. That endorsement has been accepted as fact for more than four centuries. However, recent analysis of Camden's original manuscript shows key passages were pasted over and rewritten to burnish James' legacy. The newly-uncovered pages make clear not only that Elizabeth's naming of James never happened, but that James, uncertain he would ever gain the British throne, was even suspected of sending an assassin to London to kill the queen. Had all this been known at the time, the English people—bitter enemies with Scotland for centuries—might well not have accepted James as their king, with unimagined ramifications. Inspired by the revelations over Camden's manuscript, Dr. Borman sheds rare new light on Elizabeth's historic reign, chronicling it through the lens of the various claimants who, over decades, sought the throne of the only English monarch not to make provision for her successor. The consequences were immense. Not only did James upend Elizabeth's glittering court, but the illegitimacy of his claim to the throne, which Camden suppressed, found full expression in the catastrophic reign of James' son and successor, Charles I. His execution in 1649 shocked the world and destroyed the monarchy fewer than 50 years after Elizabeth died, changing the course of British and world history. This interview was conducted by Dr. Miranda Melcher whose book focuses on post-conflict military integration, understanding treaty negotiation and implementation in civil war contexts, with qualitative analysis of the Angolan and Mozambican civil wars. 1 Whoever loves correction loves knowledge, but he who hates reproof is stupid. 2 A good man shall obtain favor from Yahweh, but he will condemn a man of wicked devices. 3 A man shall not be established by wickedness, but the root of the righteous shall not be moved. 4 A worthy woman is the crown of her husband, but a disgraceful wife is as rottenness in his bones. 5 The thoughts of the righteous are just, but the advice of the wicked is deceitful. 6The words of the wicked are about lying in wait for blood, but the speech of the upright rescues them. 7 The wicked are overthrown, and are no more, but the house of the righteous shall stand. 8 A man shall be commended according to his wisdom, but he who has a warped mind shall be despised. 9 Better is he who is lightly esteemed, and has a servant, than he who honors himself, and lacks bread. 10 A righteous man respects the life of his animal, but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel. 11 He who tills his land shall have plenty of bread, but he who chases fantasies is void of understanding. 12 The wicked desires the plunder of evil men, but the root of the righteous flourishes. 13 An evil man is trapped by sinfulness of lips, but the righteous shall come out of trouble. 14 A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth. The work of a man's hands shall be rewarded to him. 15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but he who is wise listens to counsel. 16 A fool shows his annoyance the same day, but one who overlooks an insult is prudent. 17 He who is truthful testifies honestly, but a false witness lies. 18 There is one who speaks rashly like the piercing of a sword, but the tongue of the wise heals. 19 Truth's lips will be established forever, but a lying tongue is only momentary. 20 Deceit is in the heart of those who plot evil, but joy comes to the promoters of peace. 21 No mischief shall happen to the righteous, but the wicked shall be filled with evil. 22 Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight. 23 A prudent man keeps his knowledge, but the hearts of fools proclaim foolishness. 24 The hands of the diligent ones shall rule, but laziness ends in slave labor. 25 Anxiety in a man's heart weighs it down, but a kind word makes it glad. 26 A righteous person is cautious in friendship, but the way of the wicked leads them astray. 27 The slothful man doesn't roast his game, but the possessions of diligent men are prized. 28 In the way of righteousness is life; in its path there is no death. Bottom line is any person in your life will always treat you exactly how you've taught them to treat you and how you've allowed them to treat you! It doesn't matter who the individaul is, they will do to you what you allow them to get away with! You teach your significant other exactly how he or she can treat you because you show your vulnerabilities out of what you perceive is love, when it has nothing to do with love. A person who truly loves you should enhance your life, not use, abuse, or control you! On the Saturday November 1, 2025 edition of The Richard Crouse Show we meet Richard Linklater. A pioneer of independent cinema, he rose to prominence with “Slacker,” a low-budget cult classic that captured the aimless spirit of Gen X. His breakthrough, “Dazed and Confused,” became a defining portrait of 1970s youth culture. Linklater’s diverse filmography includes the romantic trilogy “Before Sunrise,” “Before Sunset,” and “Before Midnight,” the groundbreaking coming-of-age epic “Boyhood,” shot over 12 years, and the experimental “Waking Life.” His new film, “Nouvelle Vague,” delves into the French New Wave era, reflecting his deep cinematic influences. It's a love letter to Jean-Luc Godard and the French New Wave, but also to storytelling and imagination. A recreation of the events surrounding the making of Godard's 1960 feature debut “Breathless,” it stylishly captures the style and playfulness of the French New Wave, but more importantly, the spirit of change that fueled the movement that changed cinema. Then, we meet Natalie MacMaster. Her masterful Celtic fiddling and electrifying performances have made her the winner of many music awards, she’s a Grammy nominee, and recipient of the Order of Canada. She has collaborated with a host of musical legends including the Boston Pops, The Chieftains, Alison Krauss, and Yo-Yo Ma. In her new book “I Have a Love Story,” Natalie shares the remarkable journey from her humble roots on Cape Breton Island to the world's most renowned stages. She opens up about her relationship with fellow fiddler and husband Donnell Leahy, and offers an intimate look at the balance of career and motherhood, navigating the triumphs and challenges of raising seven children. Then, Linden MacIntrye stops by to chat about his book "An Accidental Villain: A Soldier's Tale of War, Deceit and Exile."
* Guest Duane Bartley: This week Fred Williams and Doug McBurney Welcome Duane Bartley, (EE), Vice President of the Rocky Mountain Creation Fellowship and an experienced engineer in the Utilities, Defense & Space industries. * Expert Opinion: Hear the story of how an errant "expert" opinion about peanut sensitivity found its way into pediatrician's advice about 25 years ago, and contributed to a dramatic rise in peanut allergies, (and how exposing kids to peanuts early on is now proven to be the better advice). * Keep RSR on the Air! It's Telethon Month! If you enjoy Real Science Radio WE NEED YOU to keep us on the air! Help us reach our $30,000.00 goal by purchasing Real Science Radio products, or become an insider and sponsor some shows! You can also mail your support in the form of an old school check, (preferably for $30,000.00 or more - or less : ) to RSR PO Box 583 Arvada, CO 80001. * Scientific Telephone: Duane explains how otherwise brilliant minds end up accepting ridiculous fables like evolution because they assume the other scientists who specialize in fields like evolutionary biology and geology are as smart and conscientious as they are. * Settled Science: Hear all about the missing links, the evolutionary miracles, "total upending" and "explosions" of life (and death) one must accept to assert that the world was not created by the God of the Bible. * Deception & Deceit: Many scientists who go along with evolution and other lies of "settled science" are simply deceived, and don't have a malevolent motivation. But we're reminded that even ignorance is sin, as is foolishness! And sin does harm, and even gets people killed whether it's intentionally malevolent or not. * God & Carbon Dating: Hear one of the better refutations of the lie your government school science teacher told you, (that carbon dating proves God doesn't exist). * Chasing Squirrels: Check out the Malabar GIANT - the official squirrel of Duane Bartley, our nominee to be the official mascot of Real Science Radio!

It's all about the mindset that you have! When you're of unhealed hearts and minds you're very quick to act and/or react over things to include speculation and lies! Many people are very easily provoked over hearsay. It goes back to the ridiculous lie over the rapture. Many people fell for it because people want so badly to believe in something, yet if they really believed in Jesus, they should have known better. It goes to show that most people talk one thing but believe and do another! When you have your own unresolved issues that you neglect, and you continue to put them on the back burner to go along, to get along, to belong, you'll always be left behind and falling prey to the many predators who feed off of the vulnerabilities you've shown to them! You'll contine as broken people who are being mentally bamboolzled and controlled by other broken people! Change must start with you, it's an inner process that must take place! You must be willing to unlearn all the bad conditioning and behaviors to become the best version of yourself! You are better than who or what you come from, if you believe it! Nothing you've gone through or will go through dictates your life unless you choose for it to dictate your life!Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/relationships-and-relatable-life-chronicles--4126439/support.

I've been told "delayed obedience is disobedience" like it's a favorite line from a popular song since posting this reel.It got me thinking about the rush and urgency parents put themselves and their children in. It's certainly a catchy line and I can confidently say it is not biblical.Come explore where I have found the Bible praises pause, what could have gone differently and what Jesus would possibly do in our shoes. I believe teaching our children to exercise discernment, regulate emotions, pray for clarity and ask question IS our job. We are not here to rush our kids along to fit into the status quo and ensure they respect authority... a delay can be a very, very good thing.Good news, my Yes Language Course is now available for you to drastically reduce the times you say "no" and become a clear and kind communicator! In this week's message from Everyday Mission, we see two sides of the early church—radical generosity and sobering deceit. In Acts 4:32–5:11, the Holy Spirit empowers a community marked by grace, unity, and dependence on God, while also revealing the danger of hypocrisy and self-promotion. The gospel calls us to live open-handed lives, trusting that everything we have belongs to Him. When God's Spirit transforms our hearts, generosity becomes more than giving—it becomes worship. For more information about Integrity Church, visit our website, http://liveintegritychurch.orgConnect with us on social media throughout the week to stay up to date on events and things happening at Integrity!Instagram: @integrity_churchFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/liveintegrity/For more information about Integrity Church, visit our website, http://liveintegritychurch.org Connect with us on social media throughout the week to stay up to date on events and things happening at Integrity! In the gripping second part of the Daniel Markel case we delve deeper into the intricate web of deceit surrounding the murder-for-hire plot. This episode focuses on the trials of the two masterminds behind the shocking crime: Charlie and Donna Adelson. Charlie Adelson's Trial: The episode begins with the conviction of Charlie Adelson. The state's case was built on compelling evidence, including audio recordings from a Miami restaurant where Charlie discussed killing a blackmailer or a police officer. The money trail connecting the Adelson family's dental practice to Katie Magbanua, the ex-girlfriend of the hitman, also played a crucial role. Charlie took the stand in his own defense, claiming he was being extorted by the hitmen. This defense was ultimately not believed by the jury, leading to his conviction for first-degree murder, conspiracy, and solicitation. Donna Adelson's Arrest and Trial: Just seven days after her son's conviction, the matriarch, Donna Adelson, was arrested at Miami International Airport as she and her husband, Harvey, were attempting to flee to Vietnam, a non-extradition country. Key evidence against her included monitored phone calls where she discussed fleeing the country and a recording where she was overheard mulling over extradition policies and reading text messages from her daughter, Wendi. During her trial, testimony from her fellow inmates revealed her attempts to orchestrate false testimony and her admission of her role in the murder. The verdict was unforgettable, as Donna gasped dramatically when she was found guilty of first-degree murder, conspiracy, and solicitation, becoming the fifth person convicted in Dan's murder. The Family's Web of Lies: The podcast also uncovers new details about the involvement of other family members. Wendi Adelson, Dan's ex-wife, testified under immunity but was confronted with her past inconsistencies about her knowledge of the murder plot. It was also revealed that Donna and Wendi had a deep knowledge of Dan's daily routine, and Wendi's ex-boyfriend testified that she once mentioned Charlie looking into a hitman for $15,000. Legacy and Justice: The episode concludes with the powerful impact of the case on Dan Markel's parents, Ruth and Phil Markel. Their advocacy led to a new law and a long-awaited reunion with their grandsons. Thank you to this week's sponsors! Philosopher Stefan Molyneux answers more questions from X!"Is the proper formulation for UPB's always an outwardly directed negation of the universal preference?"Also, it seems there are universal preferences which aren't UPB's until other UPB's are already met. Which (if any) UPB do you see as primary? (I think it's do not lie)."Stefan can you talk about the cock-blocking mother? It is a mother who has lived her life, had her kids, but is divorced. And so decides to live with her daughter (usually first born) under the guise of it being economically smart. The daughter therefore never gets to date 1/2""Who do you think was the last or latest 'great' or 'towering' philosopher?""How can the right to freedom of speech be reconciled with the immorality of telling lies? "If (since?) the two can't be reconciled, can you think of a better principle to encourage civil discourse while protecting society from the harms of deception?"FOLLOW ME ON X! https://x.com/StefanMolyneuxGET MY NEW BOOK 'PEACEFUL PARENTING', THE INTERACTIVE PEACEFUL PARENTING AI, AND THE FULL AUDIOBOOK!https://peacefulparenting.com/Join the PREMIUM philosophy community on the web for free!Subscribers get 12 HOURS on the "Truth About the French Revolution," multiple interactive multi-lingual philosophy AIs trained on thousands of hours of my material - as well as AIs for Real-Time Relationships, Bitcoin, Peaceful Parenting, and Call-In Shows! You also receive private livestreams, HUNDREDS of exclusive premium shows, early release podcasts, the 22 Part History of Philosophers series and much more!See you soon!https://freedomain.locals.com/support/promo/UPB2025
