Pastor Chris and the staff pastors shared 6 practical examples to be an agent of Mercy.
Pastor Chris began Missions Emphasis by speaking about how Missions is an act of Mercy. Serving others in the name of Jesus gives others hope. Acts 1:8 speaks people being God’s witness in the world! Being an agent of Mercy to the world!
Pastor Chris continued the Miracle of Mercy series as he talked about “Ministry of Mercy”. He spoke being compassionate and trying to understand others difficulties. Pastor Chris’ main scripture was Mark 1:40-45 (Jesus’ encounter with a man with leprosy).
Pastor Ross spoke about the conviction of the Holy Spirit. Pastor Ross emphasized the conviction being a good thing as that is God’s calling to make things right.
Pastor Frank spoke about a message God had given him about Mercy and Forgiveness. Pastor Frank used Matthew 18:21-35 as the main scripture for the message.
Pastor Chris continued the series “Miracle of Mercy” with a message about forgiveness. Believers are called to forgive just as Christ has forgiven. This was also the day the Gilgal Church (the church whom was renting space for their own church service) met together with Legacy for the morning service and lunch afterward.
Pastor Randy spoke about the need for believers to “Wake up!” and get their relationship right with God. God has a work for believers to complete and it’s time for believers to reach the lost, cry out for the world, devote themselves to prayer, and be the Church God has called it to be!
Pastor Chris continued the “Miracle of Mercy” series with the message “God’s mercy and my failures”. All humans are imperfect and living in an imperfect world. God’s mercy is sufficient to cover all failures. The biggest failure of all would be to not ask God for mercy and receive forgiveness.
Pastor Chris shared the first message in the series “Miracle of Mercy”. The series will be six weeks and will be complimented by small group studies through out the middle of the week.

Pastor Frank shared a message about serving. We as believers were not saved to be served but to serve others. His timely message references Christ’s mission on earth and how love was the driving force behind Christ’s perseverance.
Pastor Chris spoke about 2 Corinthians 11:13 &14. He spoke about the summer sun and how not having the right protection will lead to a burn. However, people with the right protection will have the necessary covering. Jesus is our protection from sin. Without His covering protection, people are susceptible to sin.
Pastor Chris spoke on John 4:5-30. Through life’s struggles, hardships, and difficulties people God has proved Himself to be great. Jesus wants people to know Him and to be known by Him.
