On a new episode of Weekend Conversations on the Elevate Podcast, host Robert Glazer and producer Mick Sloan talk about the concept of being unoffendable. They discuss the social dynamics that have made people more likely to take offense, the harm of that mindset, and why leaders in particular must be unoffendable to be effective. Ben Maller talks about chatter that George Pickens will be offended by the franchise tag, who the Cowboys should be shopping their draft picks for, the Packers cracking down on the resale market, Cite the Bite, and more!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Clay kicks off this episode with his raw reaction to Super Bowl 60, where the Seattle Seahawks' “Dark Side” defense led a commanding performance in a 29–13 victory over the New England Patriots — a game defined by pressure, turnovers, and a performance that had fans talking defense first. Clay breaks down the halftime show controversy around Bad Bunny's performance, which drew both cultural celebration and sharp criticism from political figures and commentators alike, turning the show into a flashpoint for broader cultural debates. Then we shift from gridiron to global sport — exploring how Olympic athletes are making political statements and dealing with gender issues, including ongoing debates about athlete eligibility and how the International Olympic Committee is handling political expression at the Games. What might it feel like living in 1970? On this episode of ACC Nation podcast we’re joined by special guest David Doda, a member of the Wake Forest football team that won their first conference championship since the school had helped form it in 1953. History books looking at 1970 are filled with things like the Vietnam war, the Beatles breaking up, Joe Frazier becoming the World Heavyweight Champion in boxing and the movie M*A*S*H premiering among others. But, in Winston-Salem a group of young men who were dismissed by sportswriters of the time came together under Coach Cal Stoll for a journey they’ll never forget and Doda shares his memories in his book, No Offense, No Defense, No Hope. Podcast The road to victory is seldom as smooth as imagined. The struggles as players, as young men living in a troubled world and personal loss often helps forge lasting relationships. Having an old school coach that holds your feet to the fire builds comradery and focuses you on things at hand rather than the whirling dervish outside of campus. Baseball | Preseason Top 25. Good For What Exactly? Doda’s book is available at Amazon and is a fascinating read for anyone who is into college football, interested in history and especially for Wake Forest alumni and fans. Just Because You Say “No Offense” Doesn't Mean You're Not Offensive We've all heard it — and maybe even said it: “No offense…” before dropping a comment that's, well… offensive. In this episode, we unpack why slapping “no offense” in front of a statement doesn't make it harmless, how it's often used to dodge accountability, and why words matter more than the disclaimers we attach to them. From church small talk to political debates, we explore how this phrase shows up, the damage it can do, and how to replace it with honesty, empathy, and actual respect.

“No offense, but…” usually means offense is coming. We've all said the wrong thing or heard the right thing said the wrong way. Words can heal or harm, build up or break down. Jesus didn't just speak truth, He lived it with grace, compassion, and intentionality. This message helps us rethink how we speak—to pause, check our hearts, and use our words to bring life, not just opinions. Whether it's behind a keyboard, in a conversation, or in conflict, how we speak reveals what's in our hearts. Let's talk about how to hold onto truth and love. Jesus didn't crush people with honesty. He changed them with it.

In this episode, Reagan and Chesko dive into the absurd world of "Timmy Bounce Back" and his viral rant about why men are "awesome" and women are supposedly "destroyers." Between fits of laughter, they unpack the toxic mindset behind these kinds of statements, examining the fragility that leads to such ridiculous claims. They explore how patriarchal systems actually harm everyone, the importance of intersectional feminism, and why some men would rather maintain a broken system than work toward equality.
