Panic Disorder is an anxiety disorder characterized by unexpected and repeated episodes of intense fear accompanied by physical symptoms that may include chest pain, heart palpitations, shortness of breath, dizziness, or abdominal distress. Examples of how to cope: 1. deep breathing 2. Don't fight it...embrace it by accepting you will be ok 3. read something of interest to you while panic is going on. Planes, Trains & Automobiles starring Steve Martin and John Candy. A movie of a man trying to get home for Thanksgiving and all the struggles he runs into to get there.
