Mooncast is a regular podcast about all things Moonstone. We'll cover characters, tactics, gameplay, up-dates and interviews. Hope you enjoy.
Hello and welcome to another Mooncast. In this one Jack and I discuss taking deployment or the initiative: advantages and disadvantages of both, some ideas of troupes which have a preference and things to remember. We do go off on quite a few tangents and it's a bit of a rambling one I'm afraid. Hope you enjoy anyway.
Neaw Faeries!!!! Joe and I discuss the latest faerie box containing Banshee, Dentia and Iris & Hellebore. I recommend watching Moonstone 059 on Ye Olde Battle Reps first as I make reference to this game throughout. Hope you enjoy.
Hello again and welcome to another episode of Mooncast. A nice short one for you where Jack and I talk through the rest of the upgrade card range. At the point of recording shades don't have their own upgrade cards yet so we cover the dominion, Leshavult and faction crossovers. Hope you enjoy.
Welcome to another episode of Mooncast. Joe is back to continue our Shades episodes. This time we talk about spirits. Hope you enjoy.
Welcome to another Mooncast episode. Joe is back on with me to begin a series of episodes discussing shades. In this one we start by looking mainly at the Risen side of the faction. We do reference other models and have a few tangents (obviously) but overall we do stick to risen. There will be episodes on spirits, psycopomps and other areas too. I also recommend listening to episode 50 for more on Jobie. Hope you enjoy
Nice short podcast for this episode. We talk a bit through our day at Salute. I was hoping to do more recording but we were so busy demoing and selling we didn't get much of a chance. Hope you enjoy what we did get recorded anyway.
Welcome to another Mooncast episode. This time Jack and I discuss the commonwealth and commonwealth mixed upgrade cards. We talk about who to use them on and fun ways to play. Hope you enjoy.
The Faeries are back for another episode! We talk about a tournament style game where I use a different kind of faerie troupe to my usual and then talk more generally about these amazing models. Hope you enjoy
Welcome to another Mooncast Episode. In this one Joe and I talk about some fun and funny Dominion troupes which can lead to some hilarity and ridiculous outcomes. I'm afraid this episode has to be kept short as we had to squeeze the recording into a short time available. There will be more to come. Hope you enjoy anyway
Welcome back. Bit of a ramble on this one as Jack and I talk about a game of giants vs trolls. Hope you enjoy.
Welcome to the latest episode. Jack and I discuss a recent playtest game (See Ye Olde Battle Reps, Moonstone 051) and introduce the Shades of Moonreach faction. We couldn't go into too much detail. But I can confidently say they are awesome! Hope you enjoy.

This was another really fun episode to record and a really interesting new release for Leshavult. Apologies for the interruption from my daughter about half way through. Hope you enjoy.

Julian from Out of the Breach joins me from Berlin to talk about his channel, Moonstone in general and The Fate of Eric community campaign. This was a lovely chat with a great player. There is a big pause at the beginning of the video. This is because I wasn't sure whether Skype was recording or not, and I couldn't seem to clip it either. Hope you enjoy.
In this episode Jack and I have a chat about the two airships, both Gnomish and Goblin. We talk tactics and go off an several tangents as normal. Hope you enjoy.

In this episode me and Jack do a review of the Stone circle scenario battle report on Ye Olde Battle Reps. It's moonstone report number 37. I strongly recommend you watch the report before listening to the podcast as it will make much more sense. We also delve into a few other areas. Hope you enjoy.
Hello again fellow Moonstoners. Apologies for the big gap between podcasts, it's just been a very busy time in my life over the last few months. In this episode Joe is back on and we're talking new faeries. You'll be pleased to learn there are less tangents than a normal Joe episode. We recorded this episode over two evenings because we were having serious connection issues during the first section. So apologies that the first 15 minutes aren't great quality but stick with it as it does improve after that. Hope you all enjoy.
Joe joins me for a other episode to discuss one of the newest releases, the Malachite Mystics. It was great to record with Joe again but beware we go on many many tangents. Hope you enjoy.
Want to know more about what you'll find in the Arising book? I chat with Suzie the main narrative lead. This was such a great podcast to record. I hope you all enjoy it.

No blurb for this one. You'll just have to listen. Hope you enjoy.
Joe joins me for another episode. In this one we take a more focused topic of how to beat Boris the bunny summoner. It was a fun discussion with lots of the usual tangents. Apologies in advance because during the first half or recording one of my children woke up and wouldn't go back to sleep so we had to finish it a week later. Hope you enjoy anyway
Hello fellow Mooners and stoners. Apologies for the break in podcasts, there are reasons. Just me on this one talking about giants, how to use them and how to beat them. Hope you enjoy.

In this episode I get Lauren and Kriss from Dicing with Life back on Skype. This time we talk specifically about their latest battle report (the 3rd Moonstone report on the Dicing with Life channel) a 3 headed giant game of faeries vs humans and gnomes. I recommend watching the report first. He battle is great fun to watch and this was a fun recording again. The recording was over Skype again so I'm afraid the quality isn't fantastic at times but I hope you enjoying listening none the less.
In this episode I have a great chat with Kriss and Lauren from Dicing with Life. I'm afraid the line isn't always great and after about 25 minutes we lost connection. So there is a small break. Hope you enjoy it anyway.
Here's another troupe box focus. last of the current range of commonwealth humans, the Rags to Riches box. I didn't feel like doing another by myself, so jack downloaded skype and joined me for this one. It was much nicer doing a recording with someone else. We try and focus on the troupe box in question but obviously go on a lot of tangents. Hope you enjoy. Time for my second troupe box focus during coronavirus lockdown. This time I'm talking about the second human box containing Fritz, Quack and Agatha. I talk about tactics, combos and counters. Hope you enjoy. PS. apologies for the interruption towards the end.
How did he become what he is today?
I've decided to do some short solo recordings during the coronavirus lockdown focusing on individual troupe boxes. In this first one I'm going to tall about The Barony box with Baron Von Fancyhat, Eric and Flintlock. I'll tall through tactics and combos with other characters in the range. Hope you enjoy.
It's been a while since my last recording do hopefully this epic chat with Joe will make up for it. On the topic of Leshavult wr discuss models, background, tactics, combos and troupes. Hope you enjoy.
In this episode me and Jack discuss our favourite, models, abilities, weapons etc. in Moonstone. We also share some community favourites. WARNING: we only discuss this topic for about the first 25 minutes then we basically ramble on about how amazing Moonstone is. Still worth it I reckon. Hope you enjoy.
Me and Jack huddle round the microphone in an effort to get a decent quality recording whilst discussing the fauns. We talk through each card, how they play and some of the synergies available to them. Hope you enjoy.
I'm this episode I get Tom on the phone again. This time we talk gnomes and how they are fairing in competitive play. Apologies for some of the poor sound quality, skype doesn't make for a great recording unfortunately. Hope you can still listen and enjoy.
This was one of my favourite episodes to record. I managed to finally get Joe on the phone to discuss his favourite faction, the sneaky goblins. If you want to get good with Goblins then Joe is the guy to listen to. Hope you enjoy.
In this episode I've got Jack and Ryan talking about our first campaign game. You can find the game on Ye Olde Battle Reps. We discuss playing a campaign game, first impressions and talk through the event and agenda cards which are unique to the campaign. This was a spur of the moment recording so apologies for the slight lack of organisation! Also apologies for the background noise. Big thanks to Ryan who edited the recording to even up the sound levels and added some faint backing music.
In this episode Jack and I discuss the errata to some of the original book 1 characters. Hope you enjoy.
Just me on this episode. I'm talking about terrain in the game this time. Including what terrain you can place on the board, what it does and a quick bit about some of the characters who can interact with terrain. Hope you enjoy.
In this episode Jack and I discuss some specific character combinations which can prove powerful. They include the Goblin list which won the Moonstone Grand Tournament and the Faerie list which won the Ye Olde Battle Reps summer tournament. Hope you enjoy.
Tom and I met in a pub (in the car park to be precise) to discuss the two new troupe boxes that are being released. These are Blood Magic for Faeries and The Outlanders for gnomes. Hope you enjoy.
