Matthew 28:19-20 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, “teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. Jesus is giving all of us our purpose in this passage of scripture but are we doing it? Or are we setting finish lines that look good but fall way short of the great commission? In this last part of chapter 5, Paul talks about the 1st Adam, how his sin brought death into the world, and the contrast of the 2nd Adam (Jesus) how His death brought grace into the world. Adam caused the entire creation to be cursed and brought death to all living things. But Jesus, the 2nd Adam brought grace and eternal life by dying on the cross in our place to pay for all of our sins.

Romans chapter 5 proves you can not lose your salvation once you have it. Christ died for us when we were His enemy because that is the love God has for us.

Pastor Brian takes us verse by verse through Paul's first epistle to the church in Corinth. It is just as relevant and important for the church today. May it be a blessing to you. It's all about Jesus, never about us. Dr. Chuck Missler called this The Epistle to the Californians. Of course, he is saying it tongue in cheek but as we go through this epistle you can see why he calls it that. You will see that the things that are going on in places like Hollywood San Francisco and other parts of California, Las Vegas, New Orleans, and others are the same as what was happening all those years ago in Corinth. They took pride in doing whatever they wanted to do. They didn't follow anyone else they were the boss, and they didn't care what anyone else thought. They were proud of their sin. Corinth was famous for its moral corruption. Paul will list a bunch of them later on in chapter 6. The term Corinth came to signify living a sinful lifestyle. There was a Greek word that meant to Corinthinizes or to go to the devil.

The last chapter of the Gospel of John, the epilogue of the Gospel of Love as some have called it. It has been an incredible study going verse by verse through one of the most important books in the Bible. John wrote his gospel so that we might believe.
