This episode of People Have No Idea is different than what I normally do here on this podcast. Todays show is not a show but rather a guided meditation. Even if meditation isn't something you practice I hope you can at least listen and find some stillness in your day!

In this episode of People Have No Idea I wanted to talk about a personal journey that I am currently on. A journey many women have taken, are in the process of taking or they are considering it. It’s a big step that leads you down a path, a path that is uncertain but with a major end goal in mind. I am talking about IVF. Which stands for In Vitro fertilization. I’m sure many of you out there have heard of IVF, have gone through it yourself or may know someone who has done it. Or like me are in the process of going through it. I wanted to take the time in this episode to discuss my story so far since mine is a little more unique then most stories. However, I do hope I can educate, inspire and help those who are going through IVF or are thinking about it due to their circumstances. I want others to know that you’re not alone and although it can feel like a long emotional road, the end result of having a baby and becoming a parent/parents is the ultimate goal. No matter how you get there. Coming up I’ll discuss… -What is IVF? -My story. -Starting another cycle. -Currently on a cliffhanger! -And Things I wish I knew before I started Thank you and please enjoy this episode of People Have No Idea! ~Michele C.

Welcome to People Have No Idea! Hello everyone and welcome to the blog and PodCast show, “People Have No Idea.” I’m Michele Christiansen and I wanted to use this first post as an introduction to both my blog and Podcast. People Have No Idea is about mental, physical, and life challenges. The primary focus being on the genetic disease Fragile X, which affects me personally as well as my family. I will also be interviewing those who not only deal with Fragile X but other challenges as well. Challenges that are mental, physical and personal. I want those I speak with to tell me their stories. Stories that are educational, funny, sad and have a real human side. It’s important to shed light on these different issues so we can all better understand each other. I will be using Fragile X as a jumping off point for this blog/Podcast but plan on digging into many other topics that people may not understand. In my first intro episode of PHNI I will give summaries on the following: -Why the title People Have No Idea? -What is Fragile X? And finally, what’s coming up in Episode One? For more information on FragileX please visit their website: fragilex.org Here you can find lots of valuable information about FragileX. Please visit our sponsors too! platinumimprints.com And my personal illustration/art website: threecirclecreative.com You can also follow me on Instagram under: michele_illustrates Thank you and I hope you enjoy listening to People Have No Idea! ~Michele C.
