I call it the Baliverse. Is Bali really a spiritual place? Yes. Is Ubud full of fake coaches and pretentious tossers? Also yes. Ubud has two polar opposites: the yogis and the digital nomads. Which one will you be if you were to go? After spending two months in Ubud I've gotta say that there are more fake humans with no guts than true spiritual souls. Spirituality has become a product, and youth / sexual appropriation is sometimes the end goal when selling "freedom” in places like The Yoga Barn, Ubud. Old men dancing with young women, people with no life experience selling life coaching packages. Are you really sure you know what to expect from Ubud?

What a tit! Basically, I summarised my past few months in Airlie Beach, Queensland (my so-called home away from home) where a lot of things happened, if I am honest, including a police siege next to my house.  Once the updates are all out there, I open up about how I feel regarding travelling, after so long staying in Australia (pandemic, comfort, call it X) And it just so happens that the nervousness and fear of travelling to a new place never leave you. It doesn't matter if you consider yourself a digital nomad (I do) or a travel lover... the unknown will always shake your confidence. You can either transform it into excitement or let it eat you alive!! (Choose excitement, please)  Enjoy! And if you think someone you know is about to embark on a new adventure and could benefit from some moral support, please do share, subscribe, comment, review...whatever suits you best! It helps people know this exists!
