While there, we found one of our former high school fire academy recruits in the crowd and asked him to sit down and discuss the High School Fire Academy Program and his experiences. We finish the episode by talking about volunteerism and the difficulties of recruiting at a volunteer fire department.
So, we tried something different at the NC NFA Weekend held in Emmittsburg, MD. We basically did an open mic were anyone could come up and ask questions.
