There are rapid advances in technology taking place everyday, making things faster, more streamlined, and more accessible. But, is that always a good thing?? In tonight's episode, we take on analog vs. digital, addressing the role that each has in areas ranging from art, shopping, education, and more!

In tonight's episode of Sci-Fighters, we take on cross-pollinating properties! - specifically in the forms of shared universes and crossover events. We discuss the impact that Marvel's cinematic universe has on our movie-going experience, what properties we would like to see in a crossover event, and (not surprisingly) Ashley goes on a bit of a Doctor Who rant.

It's the summer! And for the Sci-Fighters, that means it's time to play catch-up on all of our geeky interests: watching movies, drawing comics, creating videos and podcasts, and so on! The summer also means a lot of sleeping in, wasting time watching mindless tv, and doing a whole lot of nothing. In tonight's episode, we talk about how we've spent our summer so far, how we'd like to be spending our summer, and whether engaging in our geeky interests is an act of laziness or intentional acts of geekery.

With the upcoming release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, we discuss how modern movies stack up to the source material of our childhood. Also, we discuss whether modern movies from 80s source material is meant for kids now, or adults who remember the material from when they were kids.
