After a very messy few years, it's time to snap back. Little did I know I would be snapping back by becoming a Mom... but here we are. To share the mess that lead me here and the beauty that has always existed. Take it is your lil sis' that has become a Mom but maintains that little sis energy. Here for you.
CHAOS & NOISE. It is all around us in this world, but LOVE is intrinsic. Today, we discuss the looping patterns of fear - why we are addicted to chaos and how to step out of those chaotic cycles. I found myself abiding by FEAR for so long by trying to just get AROUND it, instead of identifying it and in this episode I discuss what that MAY look like and the WHY behind our looping chaos. With so much going on, it is so easy to stay in this addictive pattern of fear, but it is your eternal destiny to exist in full love and we get to rest in THAT truth, today. Happy Listening!
Molly Lee is a comedian and host of the podcast Painfully Self Aware. She chronicles her quarter life crisis in the podcast and all that comes with it. We discuss what it is like to embrace a time of life that most ignore, yet definitely experience and what it has looked like in her familial relationships and otherwise. I love how honest Molly is about where she is at and I know this will invite others to embrace the messy beauty of where they are at. Happy Listening! Mollys (all socials): mollylee31
This episode had me in tears while recording and once again while editing. Devin Jones is an International Women's Self Love Coach and Creator of the SACRED program where she leads women to dive into self-love. She has many qualifications and endorsements, but nothing parallels Devins sovereign wisdom that she allows herself to lead from. The integrity of her work is displayed through her full embodiment of self-love and the service she shows up in. As we dive into her transition from evangelical Christianity to spiritual mysticism, you will be invited into a very vulnerable and encouraging story that leads us home to the powerful force of love that is woven throughout life. I can't wait for you to listen! Devin's Instagram: @_devinjones Devin's Website: devinjones.co Girls Gotta Meditate Instagram: @girlsgottameditate Host: @itscarissanichole
PLAY - a topic I have been very focused on as of late. I am so excited to dive into why we lost the art of play but why it is more important than ever to bring it back. The duality of life is being seen in a greater way and having a full awareness of it, allows our deepest connection, service and living out our souls abundance. Play is an integral part. Tune in to hear why!
A SOLO episode is here today! I did not realize I had a lot to say but I did. In this episode I dive into the duality of life, how our SACRED anger is so necessary and the beauty is that we get to allow our intrinsic love to lead it. There is more and more divisiveness, but what if we all tapped into our true Sacred anger and found unity in tapping into the activation our souls are asking for? Not requiring ourselves to dive into EVERY important and necessary issue coming to life but asking our soul WHERE and HOW to activate? Duality lies there and our beautiful sacred anger gets to partner with love. Plus a little unexpected tear filled encouragement for us at the end. Light a candle, take a deep breath and let's hang out. Instagram: @girlsgottameditate & @itscarissanichole
We are hanging out with Lauren DeLeary today and talking all things Deconstruction, her time in the Christian Music Industry, showing up fully to her intrinsic self && healing through story telling. Lauren co-hosts the Deconstruct Podcast with her Husband, Adam. And she shares so openly and so vulnerably as she transitions through this beautiful and messy life. Her heart is wide open to share and open all of us up to enjoy the journey our souls long for, as well as sharing what it is like to re-introduce yourself after going through MASSIVE transitions. I know you will LOVE this episode and gain so much – enjoy! Lauren's Instagram: @laurendeleary && @deconstruct.pod
2020 is not for the faint of heart and that is why NONE OF US HAVE A FAINT HEART. We are here NOW and our souls exist for GOOD reason. The thing is, we want answers, right? WHY am I here now? Queue the checklists and rules... but why does that feel so exhaustive and feel like it changes so little? Why is it so overwhelming I can't keep up and don't want to? Our egos love rules to say "well I tried, but it wasn't enough." Whereas our heart says something different and this is what we get down to in this episode. Enjoy! How do I make change when I am "just one person?" How do I continue to show up and do the hard things when there is SO MUCH going on? What does lasting change look like and where do I start? Maybe you have had these questions just like I have. Well, today we are discussing them and Kimberly McConnell is showing UP to give encouraging and actionable, heart centric resolutions for us. I was so encouraged recording this episode and even more encouraged every time I listen. I cannot wait for you to be encouraged by it just as I have been. This episode comes after another grief brought on by racism and Police brutality. I discuss what these past couple of weeks have taught me and how I view a sustainable way to move forward within my white privilege to honor our Black friends, family and community. We all have our own process and my aim is to continually invite light into darkness (in this episode it is racism) spaces and let's just say I have learned a lot this past week and have been humbled in my view of my "inclusivity." I also hope this allows us to honor the process we are stepping into and the trajectory of what is to come.
This episode goes into parts of my journey of coming home to myself (aka radical self love) and I talk about how this is the least selfish thing I have EVER done and HOW it has allowed me to show up in my power and can do the same for you. It's also maybe one of the more interesting shows because I may or may not also incorporate an "analogy" about cheese that likely was not an analogy at all... If you have been hesitant regarding self love or really just over how it is portrayed in the majority of the media. This is for YOU! It is not action friends, it is heart. And. we. are. here. for. it. This week we are talking all things vulnerability and the truth of the safety within each of us. Vulnerability is exhibited differently for each of us but most importantly, do we feel truly safe to face our self? Do we feel worthy of accessing our hearts truth? Discussing my process and journey with vulnerability, what it looks like in relationship with others and self and how it FEELS to be fully vulnerable. Along with how being vulnerable is calling in a deep soul tribe to walk life with. I credit much of this topic being introduced by Brene Brown. Check out her Ted Talk that is mentioned in this episode called: The Power of Vulnerability if you haven't heard it yet. Instagram: @girlsgottameditate Cover Art By: @rymass_art
