Su trabajo como poeta viene de una formación en Literatura Comparada y de sus lecturas de escritoras como María Negroni. Su último libro de poesía es Papel arroz con Candaya. Escribe también ensayo y ella dice que "la poesía llena una necesidad individual" en cambio "el ensayo, una necesidad colectiva y desde ahí recupera lo que se pierde"En su trabajo de investigación ha trabajado, entre muchos otros, al primer modernista Latinoamericano, antes que el mismo Darío, Héctor Manuel Carrión.
