Izy has worked predominantly in the creative world when one day she was given a chance opportunity and thrown into the world of Motorsport. Through this process, she was given another opportunity to become the Impact Correspondent for the Extreme E series, taking her to locations that have been ravaged by the effects of climate change.
Laura Byrnes took the unconventional route into motorsport when she was exposed to Speedway at age 10. After that moment, she moved straight into the sport as a driver and hasn't looked back. She is a first generation racer meaning she is the first in her family to do so, which in the world of motorsport, is as a rarity. With several achievements under her belt, there is no stopping her!
Cleo Collins had started progressing her career in an industry outside of motorsport, when she realised that her passion lay with cars and racing. Fast forward to 2021, she is currently a race mechanic within the W Series and there is no stopping her. I talk to her about the steps she took to get here and what her dreams and ambitions are for the future.
As former Rally competitors, Garry Connelly and his wife Monique have privately launched and sponsored an organisation called Racing Together. Racing Together was created to show Indigenous boys and girls aged between 12 and 16 a way into Motorsport for careers or just for recreation.
Richard Morris is a British racing driver currently competing with CW Performance Praga in the Britcar Endurance Championship. He has become a champion for change and created an organisation called Racing Pride, which along with Stonewall UK, was created to positively promote LGBTQ+ inclusivity within the Motorsport industry.
Sam Leeks moved into the world of Formula One straight out of university when she joined the Redbull Racing Team. Her career has taken on many roles since then, including within Formula One and the Endurance Racing world. She is currently a Composites technician for the Alfa Romeo Racing Orlen Formula 1 Team.
The V8 Supercars are a fan favourite in Australia. Jessica Dane has taken on the role of Commercial Operations & is a team owner of the Triple Eight Race Engineering team. As a woman within the sport, she brought the FIA's Girls on Track to Australia, inspiring the up and coming generation to gain an interest in the Motorsport world. We discuss her career thus far and how life can be ever-changing.

Dave Player started a charity called Kartforce, which encourages injured veterans to get into karting and motorsports. After seeing the positive impact from Kartforce, he then created Team Brit, an all disabled racing team looking to eventually make it to the Le Mans 24 Hour.

Most professional drivers start their career by participating and competing in karting championships. As part of my exploration into making the sport more inclusive, I wanted to gain further perspective from some people that are in their early stages of their careers. Sprinkled throughout the series, we will speak to many different junior drivers all with varying experiences. Alicia Barrett is already making a name for herself in the motorsport world. At 17, she has had many achievements including winning the X30 Ladies championship in Le Mans and being crowned the European Women's IAME X30 Champion.
Caitlin Wood is the first Australian woman to ever compete successfully on the European stage full-time in circuit racing. Her Career highlights include the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series and racing in the 2019 debut season of the W Series
