The Dutch Grand Prix gave us everything: Lando Norris's McLaren literally went up in smoke, rookie Isack Hadjar scored his first-ever podium, and Haas pulled off a double points finish (yes, really). Add in three safety cars — and for once none of them were Lance Stroll's fault — and Zandvoort delivered pure chaos.Max and Mike break down Piastri's seventh win of the season, Verstappen's home podium, Ferrari's spectacular double DNF, and what it all means for the championship picture. Plus: bold takes, a little roasting, and the usual detours you've come to expect. The grid resets, the title fight twists, and the summer break hangover is officially over.

Simon is joined by 1997 world champion Jacques Villeneuve, former Red Bull mechanic Calum Nicholas and Craig Slater to discuss the Dutch Grand Prix. We get into the ongoing Championship battle between the McLarens, Ferraris struggles before Monza and the man of the moment Isack Hadjar after his stunning podium.
Marcin Budkowski, who worked with Oscar Piastri at Alpine and held engineering roles at Ferrari and McLaren, joins Tom Clarkson in the Zandvoort paddock to reflect on an action-packed Dutch Grand Prix. After Lando Norris's late mechanical failure, Piastri's seventh victory of the season moves him 34 points clear of his McLaren teammate at the top of the Drivers' Standings. What does that retirement mean for Lando's title hopes and his approach for the rest of the season? How did Oscar end up getting the better of Lando after trailing him in all three practice sessions? Marcin shares fascinating insight into how different Oscar is in the cockpit compared to out of the car with his helmet off, and why the Australian has surprised him this year after having some doubts about his title-winning credentials. Lando's loss was Isack Hadjar's gain, as the Racing Bulls rookie jumped up a place from P4 to P3 to score his first podium in Formula 1. How did Isack execute his best weekend in F1 so far? Should Red Bull promote him to be Max Verstappen's teammate in 2026? And Ferrari had a weekend to forget with a double DNF, after Charles Leclerc was taken out by Kimi Antonelli and Lewis Hamilton crashed into the barriers. Marcin tells Tom why he thinks Antonelli is going through a difficult patch at Mercedes and why Lewis's struggles with the car remind him of Daniel Ricciardo at McLaren. The 2025 Dutch Grand Prix had it all - a maiden podium, surprise DNFs, a bold Max Verstappen, the Orange Army, an over ambitious teenager & lots of "lucky" strategy under the 3 x Safety Car periods. Ferrari's double DNF, Lewis Hamilton's driver error leading to a crash & retirement, Andrea Kimi Antonelli's crash with Charles Leclerc, Leclerc's spirited overtake on George Russell, and the Sainz-Lawson incident. Lots of talking points from the 2025 Dutch Grand Prix. Oscar Piastri won the 2025 Dutch Grand Prix from pole and led every lap of the race. However, Lando Norris' unexpected (and unfair) power unit failure swung the points gap to 34 points. A championship deciding power unit failure, is it? Lewis Hamilton handed a 5 place grid drop for the 2025 Italian Grand Prix, Ferrari's home race, for failing to slow down for "double yellow" flags on the reconnaissance laps to the grid. Basically, Hamilton was penalised for his pre-race actions on grounds of safety. Rosanna Tennant, former F1 driver Jolyon Palmer & the BBC's F1 correspondent Andrew Benson look ahead to the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort. We hear from both McLaren drivers, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, as their championship battle intensifies. Can Lewis Hamilton turn around his tough start to life at Ferrari? And will home hero Max Verstappen return to winning ways for Red Bull? Plus, we discuss Cadillac's driver announcement for 2026 as Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez return to the grid.
Codesport’s Matt Hickey is back in the Garage as F1 fires up for the 2nd half of the season.McLaren reckon their drivers are getting on well (unlike some of the other inter team rivalries over the years) but surely there’ll be a blow-up between Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri at some stage? Cadillac will give Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas the keys next year. Makes sense right? But can this new F1 team sneak a point or two and be better than ‘cellar dwellers’ in ’26? RedBull is currently 4th in the Constructor’s standings (is it crazy to think that) and while it’s not in Max Verstappen’s nature to wave the white flag surely the team will start to shift its focus to next season and the new regs. And while Daniel Riccardo recovers from a dirt bike crash hopefully he writes a wish list of post F1 Motorsport events he’d like a crack at….Bathurst anyone? The 2025 Formula 1 Season is FINALLY back, after a far too long summer break. It's Round 15, the Dutch Grand Prix. Let's get into the details & give our predictions for bangers & clangers. My name's Tommo, let's talk about it.

After a mandatory "holiday", Formula 1 is back this weekend with the 2025 Dutch Grand Prix. Yes, Max Verstappen's home race. What are the key talking points this weekend? What will the media play up, and what will the teams play down? Also, we're racing at a legendary circuit - Zandvoort. Enjoy it as long as it lasts! Will rain "Unleash the Lion" aka Max Verstappen at home in front of the Orange Army? Could the cooler conditions bring Mercedes into contention, and similarly, will Ferrari have used the summer break wisely to add a spring to their step? As for McLaren, the Drivers' Championship battle between Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris resumes at Zandvoort. Will the summer break have halted Norris' momentum (he won 3 out of 4 races prior to the summer break)? Lots in store this weekend, including overtaking moves at Turn 1, Turn 3 and maybe the Turn 11-12 sequence? Pirelli is bringing tyre compounds that are one step softer than last year + the pit lane speed limit is up from 60 kmph to 80 kmph. We will see a variety of race strategy at play, and this could spice up the action on-track and in the pit lane. Former Renault driver, Jolyon Palmer, and F1TV lead commentator, Alex Jacques, join Tom Clarkson to discuss Formula 1's return to action at this weekend's Dutch Grand Prix in Zandvoort. Oscar Piastri leads Lando Norris by just nine points at the top of the World Championship. With just 10 races and three F1 Sprints to go, who would the guys rather be in this title fight? Should Oscar have a bigger lead in the standings? And has Lando's mentality changed throughout the season? Max Verstappen hasn't been on the podium in the last four races. Will the support of the Orange Army and his incredible record at this track help him get back in the top three? What is the rest of 2025 all about for Max and Red Bull? And is Yuki Tsunoda fighting for his F1 future in these last 10 races? Ferrari are the only team in the top four yet to win a race this year. Will that change before the end of the season? What should Team Principal Fred Vasseur do to get the best out of Lewis Hamilton? And Jolyon, Alex and Tom debate who they think has been the best rookie so far this season.
