Formula One motor race held in Monaco
POPULARITY
The news has well and truly broken on the transaction of the Muscle Car Warehouse collection, so it's time we finally talk about it. On this episode of the show we also dive into the Monaco Grand Prix, the last HSV ever built, and a little update on Elfin Sports Cars.www.YTG.co
Last Sunday, 19-year-old Kimi Antonelli won the Monaco Grand Prix — one of the most prestigious and unforgiving races in Formula One history. And nothing about what he showed had anything to do with speed. He stepped into Formula One at 18 with a quiet, almost unreasonable belief that he belonged — not arrogance, just certainty. Are we building that in our kids? Ten laps to go, comfortable lead, red flag. Two hours of racing reset in an instant. Lewis Hamilton right behind him. Kimi came out composed, led, and won. Monaco doesn't reward panic. It rewards whoever is most at peace with the pressure. That's not talent — that's something that gets built. And the part that reframes everything: sometimes the advantage isn't experience. Sometimes it's the absence of the fear that experience brings. Three things to carry into this week: Believe early — the quiet certainty that they belong, even surrounded by more experience. Teach them to sit in the reset. The red flag will come. What matters is the ten minutes after. Don't underestimate the young. Not knowing what can go wrong can be exactly the edge. It isn't the car. It's the mind. That's ParentShift.

David Harbour is emerging back into the spotlight to address the massive fallout from his public marriage breakdown and rumoured workplace tensions on the Stranger Things set. We look at the clever ways he navigated Lily Allen's deeply personal album and what his mended relationship with Millie Bobby Brown says about industry power dynamics. Then, Em Vernem is onto her favourite subjects, covering the high-stakes glitz of an international racing event where Kimmy K officially stepped out with her champion racing prince. We break down the trackside chaos that has fans spiralling online, including a cringey live television exchange and an unhinged post-race gaffe that left a teenage sports star completely bewildered. And the Summer House feud reached its dramatic conclusion (allegedly) as hidden timelines and secret partners were dragged into the light. We unpack the unbelievable news that a Hollywood A-lister was secretly lurking in fan forums to help Andy Cohen bring a toxic production leak to justice.Remember The Spill drops the tea twice a day in this feed so follow us for all the latest entertainment news OR you can WATCH our show in full length video on the Apple Podcast app - make sure your phone is up to date and enjoy the watch! “Send us a Hey Now!”The Monaco Grand Prix always delivers talking points, and this week on Dirty Side Podcast we dive into our full Formula 1 Monaco GP Race Review. We break down the key moments from one of the most famous races on the F1 calendar, discuss the biggest winners and losers, and share our thoughts on how the championship battle is shaping up after another fascinating weekend on the streets of Monte Carlo. We discuss the standout performances, strategy calls, controversial moments, and what the result means for the drivers and teams as the Formula 1 season continues. As always, it's F1 discussion from the fan perspective, with plenty of debate, opinions, and a few laughs along the way. In this episode:
The 2026 Monaco Grand Prix had more penalties than overtakes, and we're not exaggerating. Pit-lane speeding chaos, Gasly's lost podium, Russell's drive-through farce and Antonelli's fifth win in a row, all unpacked. In this episode, Tom and Chris work through a Monaco GP defined by the stewards: the pit-lane speeding saga that caught five drivers by fractions of a km/h, why Tom thinks Hülkenberg's hairpin penalty was completely wrong, Mercedes' communication meltdown over Russell's penalty, and Cadillac throwing away their first-ever points. Plus Hadjar's debut podium, Racing Bulls' best-ever day, the Brembo brake row, and a look ahead to Spain. ❤️ Support us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/backofthegrid

And is he fighting for more than just the title now?Ferrari also endured mixed fortunes in Monaco. Lewis Hamilton scored his second P2 in a row, while Charles Leclerc crashed out late in the race. The guys discuss why Lewis is starting to gain momentum in the team and the ‘emotional rollercoaster' Charles is currently riding, after announcing a new multi-year deal with Ferrari. Also on the agenda, Isack Hadjar's first podium for Red Bull, Max Verstappen's retirement on lap 1 and more reliability concerns for McLaren. They also discuss a Maine P.E. teacher setting a world record for most three-pointers made in a 24-hour span, along with the unusual story of Taylor Swift's courtside seat from the Eastern Conference Finals hitting the market as wedding rumors involving Swift and Travis Kelce continue to swirl. The conversation shifts to Heat star Bam Adebayo being spotted at the French Open final, which sparks some tennis talk and a story from Joe about his wife's love for the tournament. Plus, the guys have some fun looking back at the long list of high-profile athletes Kim Kardashian has been linked to over the years.
Autosport's Kevin Turner and Stuart Codling break down a dramatic Monaco Grand Prix, analysing the biggest winners and losers, the latest FIA ADUO updates, and a race packed with controversy. The weekend belonged to Andrea Kimi Antonelli, who secured his fifth consecutive victory after Max Verstappen's race was compromised by engine issues at the start. The young Italian controlled proceedings from the front and held his nerve through a standing restart following Charles Leclerc's heavy crash and the resulting red flag. Monaco also delivered plenty of post-race drama, with investigations and penalties creating uncertainty right up to the chequered flag. One of the biggest casualties was Pierre Gasly, who lost a podium finish after receiving penalties, promoting Isack Hadjar to another impressive podium result despite driving an underperforming Red Bull. From Antonelli's title charge and Verstappen's setback to the FIA's latest technical developments and all the key talking points from Monaco, Kevin and Stuart bring you all the latest F1 news. Beirut strikes in Lebanon raise fears of a wider regional escalation; more than 900 Australians recognised in the King's Birthday Honours List; and in sport, teenager Kimi Antonelli makes history with victory in the Monaco Grand Prix...
Die 19-jarige Mercedes-jaer Kimi Antonelli het weereens oorheers by 'n chaotiese Monaco Grand Prix, en sy vyfde agtereenvolgende oorwinning hierdie seisoen behaal. Soumil Arora and Kunal Shah discuss the 2026 Monaco Grand Prix where Andrea Kimi Antonelli won for the first time, while also scoring his 5th consecutive race win. Lewis Hamilton, in company of his love interest Kim Kardashian, conquered hearts and Charles Leclerc, as he finished 2nd in Monaco. Isack Hadjar claimed his first podium for Red Bull Racing, while Pierre Gasly, who crossed the line in 3rd place, lost the podium due to a series of time penalties. Most of us watch F1 for firecrackers, not just tire management. But the Monaco GP? It's a slow burn that somehow managed to deliver chaos, penalties, and surprises—without much overtaking. If you think Monaco is just a pretty track and a fancy casino, think again. Kimi Antonelli's jaw-dropping mastery and the puzzling penalties for guys like Gasly and Russell are rewriting the rules of racing drama. This episode is your ticket inside the legendary Monaco madness. You'll discover how Antonelli's relentless streak puts Lewis Hamilton in the rearview mirror, and why Monaco's impossible-to-pass layout makes leading all laps a Herculean feat—a feat Antonelli just pulled off in style. We break down the wild penalty saga that turned Piastri into an accidental hero, the mysterious 0.1 km/h over rule that robbed Gasly of a potential podium, and the ongoing duel between Red Bull, Mercedes, and Ferrari that's shaping up for the long haul. Why does all of this matter? Because if you thought F1 was predictable, Monaco just wiped the smug grin off your face. This episode is perfect for die-hard fans craving behind-the-scenes chaos, or anyone who loves a good underdog story—like Antonelli, the teenage phenom with a future so bright, it's blinding. Get ready for race stories that sound like script drafts—except they're real, and they're spectacular. And stay tuned: with Red Bull's upcoming upgrades, fierce title fights, and the legends of the sport giving us more than just horsepower—this season isn't over yet. Spoiler: it's about to get even more exhilarating. Ready for a wild ride through scandal, strategy, and speed? Hit play now—because Monaco's madness is only just beginning. The 2026 Formula 1 Season is here, and it's Round 6. We're back in Monte Carlo, around the tight twisty streets of Monaco. And change is afoot, with less power and no active aero available - will these smaller nimbler cars be able to flourish? Let's get into all of the details, plus Bangers & Clangers predictions as per usual. My name's Tommo, let's talk about it.
Tom Clarkson is joined by former F1 driver Jolyon Palmer and IndyCar race winner James Hinchcliffe to look ahead to this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix. After Canada, Lewis Hamilton said he thinks Ferrari will be strong in Monaco. So, could this be the first Grand Prix of 2026 that Mercedes don't win? Are Ferrari the favourites in Monte Carlo? Jolyon, Hinch and Tom discuss the Scuderia's chances and what mindset Charles Leclerc is in before his home race, after describing Canada as the ‘most difficult weekend of my Formula 1 career'. With Kimi Antonelli looking for a fifth win in a row to extend his 43-point championship lead, where has he made a step forward in 2026? And do we need to rethink how we view George Russell's performances against his Mercedes teammate? The guys also react to the announcement that Gucci will become Alpine's title sponsor in 2027. And we look back in the archive to commemorate Jolyon's first F1 race in Monaco 10 years ago.THIS EPISODE IS SPONSORED BY...Shopify: Sign up for your $1 per month trial today at shopify.com/nation BetterHelp: Sign up and get 10% off at betterhelp.com/f1nation
