Sounds fancy, huh? This week I interview Dave, a computer programmer from Scotland. He tells me about his interest in computers from a young age, his general restlessness and his life philosophy about making money vs having a good time. Dave's a recent graduate, so this one's especially applicable to those of you who have just finished or are currently finishing your degrees! Enjoy!
This week's podcast features the researcher who came up with the Glycemic Index! If you are a nutrition-conscious person or you know someone who's diabetic, you've likely heard of the index, but not necessarily the man behind it all! He was so generous to make the time to speak with me and share his story, so enjoy this short but substantial 10 minute interview!

Better late than never? This week, I sat down with Bobby! He's a project manager who's had experience in both large and small companies. He knows how to enjoy life and work hard! This is a pretty cool career that turns out, can be an option no matter what your area of interest is-- as long as you like working in groups, you're organized and you have good problem solving skills, you can do this job! (Oh wait, there's a few other challenging bits in there too...) Bobby had so many words of wisdom that this interview is split into two parts! Enjoy this first half! By the way: This is the first episode featuring music! What you hear is original music by Liam Isaac, check him out on youtube (https://www.youtube.com/user/LiamIsaacChannel) or on iTunes!
Ever thought about making a game or an app and having it be successful enough that you can travel the world off it's profits? This week's guest did it, and his name is Ryan! He's the founder of Snowman, a mobile game development company. They make games for iPhones and are now starting to work on Androids as well. He's got some out of the box sales techniques which he talks about in our interview and tells us about his experiences working with people all around the world! This week's episode features Trey, part one of a two part series about him and his dad! This is a fun guy who started off loving art in high school, who happens to also be very very smart! He started working with a firm during his time at Loyalist College, and now that he's graduated, he has a full time job at that very place! As always, email me at pathwayspodcast@gmail.com if you are interested in hearing from anybody in particular, or if you'd like to join in on an interview!
This week's episode features Rob, a general manager at The Printing House who likes to think of himself as a team leader rather than just 'the boss'. He is a hustler and a people person who really knows how to get things done (and also the funniest trash talker I know). The fact that his high school didn't have a yearbook is what kickstarted his career, and from then on, he made use of his connections and strong work ethic to become really successful! Oh and I can't forget to mention, he owns a sweet motorcycle! To hear an interview with a professional that you wished you could talk to for advice, email me at pathwayspodcast@gmail.com

In this episode I sit down with Lisa-- aka my mom! She shares her early entrepreneurial efforts with us and talks about her hands on education as a nurse. She breaks down what it takes to work in that profession, but also what it takes to branch out and succeed in running your own business. I might be a bit biased, but this is a great one guys!
In this episode I sit down with Kate, an Arts & Engineering grad from McMaster University. She's used her love of travel to jetset her way into a freelance writing career! We talk about why she chose her major, what a typical day looks like for her, and her love of art and culture! The photo for this episode was provided by Darrin Rankine.
Hey guys! Today's episode features Mark, who was academically trained as a mechanical engineer at Ryerson. He now owns an industrial flooring company. He tells us about his entrepreneurial parents and his first job working maintenance on a golf course. We talked after the podcast was over and discovered that he became interested in flooring solutions while on the job as an engineer. Something went wrong on his project, and his company had to pay a good amount of money to fix it. He thought to himself, "I can do this better, and I can get it right the first time!" . And so began his life as an entrepreneur. Side note: my boyfriend joined in on the conversation, so that's the third voice you're hearing!
