In this episode of Squatchin' Holler, we're joined by Mary Ann Zeibel, a long-time Bigfoot researcher and experiencer whose work focuses on pattern recognition, witness credibility, and the deeper behavioral aspects of the phenomenon.Mary Ann shares her personal encounters, field research experiences, and observations gathered over years of investigation. We discuss recurring patterns in sightings, environmental indicators, and how consistent behaviors appear across regions—challenging the idea that these encounters are random or misidentified wildlife. This conversation also dives into the emotional and psychological impact of encounters, how experiencers are often dismissed, and why responsible research and documentation matter more now than ever.

En: A cold winter morning, the boarding school at the foot of the Alpi italiane looked like a painting. It: La neve copriva tutto, e i pini erano vestiti di bianco.En: The snow covered everything, and the pines were dressed in white. En: The students were running in the courtyard, laughing and playing in the snow. En: Alessandro, a boy known for his pranks, sat on a low wall, observing the white landscape around him. En: Even though everyone knew him as a troublemaker, Alessandro wanted to be seen as an artist, a boy capable of great things. En: The annual snowman contest at the boarding school was the perfect opportunity. En: "Giovanni, Luisa," called Alessandro, approaching his friends as they were building a snowball. It: "Vi serve una mano?"En: "Do you need a hand?"It: Giovanni lo guardò sospettoso.En: Giovanni looked at him suspiciously. It: "Cosa stai tramando, Ale?"En: "What are you plotting, Ale?"It: "Niente scherzi, prometto."En: "No pranks, I promise."It: Alessandro alzò le mani.En: Alessandro raised his hands. It: "Voglio costruire un pupazzo di neve speciale.En: "I want to build a special snowman. It: Ma ho bisogno del vostro aiuto."En: But I need your help."It: Luisa incrociò le braccia.En: Luisa crossed her arms. It: "E perché dovremmo aiutarti?"En: "And why should we help you?"It: "Perché voglio dimostrare a tutti che Sorriso sincero, occhi pieni di speranza.En: A sincere smile, eyes full of hope. It: Giovanni e Luisa, colpiti dalla sincerità di Alessandro, alla fine acconsentirono.En: Giovanni and Luisa, touched by Alessandro's sincerity, eventually agreed. It: "D'accordo, ma niente imbrogli."En: "Alright, but no tricks."It: Quella sera, mentre il collegio dormiva, Alessandro, Giovanni e Luisa uscirono in silenzio.En: That evening, while the boarding school slept, Alessandro, Giovanni, and Luisa quietly went out.It: Armati di torce e palette, iniziarono a costruire il loro pupazzo di neve.En: Armed with flashlights and shovels, they began to build their snowman. It: Lavorarono con impegno, modellando un pupazzo diverso da tutti gli altri.En: They worked diligently, molding a snowman different from all the others. It: Era alto, elegante, con braccia lunghe e un naso di carota sottile.En: It was tall, elegant, with long arms and a thin carrot nose. It: Il mattino del concorso, il pupazzo di Alessandro era pronto.En: The morning of the contest, Alessandro's snowman was ready. It: Era davvero qualcosa di speciale.En: It was truly something special. It: Gli studenti si radunarono per l'evento.En: The students gathered for the event. It: La giuria, composta da insegnanti e il preside, iniziò a valutare i pupazzi.En: The jury, composed of teachers and the principal, began evaluating the snowmen. It: Quando fu il turno del pupazzo di Alessandro, tutti rimasero a bocca aperta.En: When it was Alessandro's snowman's turn, everyone was left speechless. It: Era realmente un'opera d'arte.En: It was truly a work of art.It: Mentre la giuria discuteva, una palla di neve scivolò dalla cima del pupazzo.En: While the jury deliberated, a snowball slipped from the top of the snowman. It: Alessandro cercò di afferrarla, ma il pupazzo perse l'equilibrio e, lentamente, cadde e rotolò giù lungo la collinetta.En: Alessandro tried to catch it, but the snowman lost balance and slowly fell, rolling down the hillside. It: Tutti lo guardarono in silenzio mentre il pupazzo sgretolandosi andava a colpire proprio la macchina del preside.En: Everyone watched in silence as the snowman crumbled and went to hit right on the principal's car.It: Dopo un momento di silenzio, il preside scoppiò in una sonora risata.En: After a moment of silence, the principal burst into loud laughter. It: "Non è proprio come lo avevi pianificato, Alessandro, eh?"En: "Not quite how you planned it, Alessandro, eh?"It: Alessandro arrossì, ma la folla iniziò a ridere con il preside.En: Alessandro blushed, but the crowd began to laugh with the principal. It: Fu allora che il preside si avvicinò al ragazzo.En: It was then that the principal approached the boy.It: "Devi sapere, Ale, che la creatività non sempre è perfetta.En: "You must know, Ale, that creativity isn't always perfect. It: Ma è sempre preziosa."En: But it's always valuable."It: Quella giornata Alessandro imparò una lezione importante.En: That day, Alessandro learned an important lesson. It: Si rese conto che la sua creatività poteva portare sorrisi e non solo burle.En: He realized that his creativity could bring smiles and not just pranks. It: Finalmente fu riconosciuto come un vero talento, e gli amici e insegnanti iniziarono a vederlo con occhi diversi.En: Finally, he was recognized as a true talent, and friends and teachers began to see him in a different light. It: Con quel lancio accidentale del suo pupazzo di neve, Alessandro ottenne non solo il riconoscimento che desiderava, ma anche una nuova consapevolezza di sé.En: With that accidental launch of his snowman, Alessandro gained not only the recognition he desired but also a new self-awareness.It: E da quel giorno, fu Alessandro l'artista, In this landmark episode of Squatchin' Holler, we are joined by Ron Morehead—the man behind the legendary Sierra Sounds—along with researcher Darrell Denton, for a rare, in-depth conversation spanning decades of encounters and global expeditions.Ron Morehead recounts his long-term research in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, where repeated interactions and recorded vocalizations challenged everything we think we know about the wilderness. Beyond North America, Ron shares insights from his investigations into Yeti encounters in the Himalayas, Yowie reports in Australia, and relict hominoid traditions across multiple continents—revealing striking consistencies that suggest this is a worldwide phenomenon, not a regional mystery.Together with Darrell Denton, the discussion explores the intelligence, behavior, and communication behind the unexplained sounds, what expert analyses have revealed, and why these encounters continue to resist conventional scientific explanation. This episode focuses on patterns, credibility, and firsthand experience—allowing the evidence and observations to speak for themselves. If you're serious about Bigfoot research, the Sierra Sounds, or the global history of unexplained hominoid encounters, this is a conversation you don't want to miss.

The snow was dumping outside, the cats were plotting chaos, and we finally hit play on the COUNTDOWN CONCERT 2025–2026 STARTO to MOVE New Year stream. What follows is a full-bodied tour through Tokyo Dome's spectacle: lasers slicing the dark, archival clips setting the stakes, and a camera that makes even nosebleeds feel electric. We walk you through the performances that stuck to our ribs—Travis Japan's Broadway polish, Naniwa Danshi's sweet glow, and Kenty's whiplash switch from adorable to dangerously smooth. We spend time where the story lives: in the details. Costumes aren't glitter for glitter's sake; sequins catch beams, pearls soften edges, and a splash of maroon or aqua makes a face pop from a distance. King & Prince prove how a duo can thrive by leaning into space and chemistry without overfilling the stage. Senpai anchors (ABC-Z, Kis-My-Ft2, NEWS) remind us how technique and stamina read across decades, while Snow Man turn camera time into a masterclass in micro-charisma. Then comes the member shuffle—a living archive where classics get new timbres, new harmonies, and new swagger—culminating in Koichi Domoto's rendering of a timeless classic, a tradition that ties generations together. When SixTONES finally explode onto the scene, the energy tilts from elegant to feral in seconds—fur, fire, streetwear, and pure adrenaline. WEST checks in by screen, the mini bike “horse race” delivers pure fan service, and the midnight countdown lands with cross-group song swaps that feel like love letters: Cinderella Girl with Naniwa's sheen, Snow Man and SixTONES trading signatures, NEWS and Timeless draped in sakura tones. Along the way, we discuss the idea that song covers are a celebration rather than replacement, and savor the unplanned moments—a wink, a tear, a laugh—that keep live pop human. If you're a STARTO fan, a J-pop casual, or just love great stagecraft, queue the countdown on Netflix, then press play on our breakdown. Subscribe, share with a friend who needs a stage-side seat, and drop your pick for performance of the night—we want to hear who owned the Dome.Support the showPlease help Music Elixir by rating, reviewing, and sharing the episode. This episode we have Samuel Chong with us, one of the most knowledgeable researchers of the Thaioouba Prophecy. Samuel is an attorney, translator, and motivational speaker, with a masters degree in financial analysis from the London School of Economics. But Samuel's true passion is the paranormal! After reading The Golden Planet: Thaioouba Prophecy, by Michel Desmarquet, he had to find the author and ask the many questions that reading the book raised. Needless to say, Samuel has dedicated an enormous amount of time thinking about and researching the concepts in this book. Our discussion starts out with Relationships with Bigfoot, but then leads into China's Snowman, Dimensional Portals, Alien Abduction, Reincarnation and Past Life Birthmarks, Planetary Spiritual Vibration, Angels, Sidis, Chakras and Auras, Astral Bodies, Meditation, Ghosts, A physical separation between Jesus and Christ, The Tomb of Jesus in Japan, and so much more. Literally too many topics to list, though I should mention the UFOs or UAPs that have crashed in both the US and China, and The Seven Masters that Rule the Galaxy. So get your thinking caps on, this one is Deep! You can find more information about Samuel Chong at https://chinasona.org/speakers/Information specific to the Thaioouba Prophecy is at https://chinasona.org/Thiaoouba/index.htmlIf you have any thoughts on the Thaioouba Prophecy, or have any other questions or strong opinions (we Love Strong Opinions), email us at feedback@paranormalrundown.com The Paranormal Rundown is a partnership between the hosts David Griffith, Father Michael Birdsong, Randy Cantrell, and Vic Hermanson.Be sure to check out our partner podcasts:You can find Vic at Trailer Trash Terrors, https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/vic-hermansonYou can find Father Birdsong at https://www.becomingahouseofprayer.com, as well as hear his new podcast Ending the Curse at:https://open.spotify.com/show/5yL7ZAN4wcRKnMPAlalVXW

On this special Christmas holiday episode of the podcast, Chauncey DeVega reflects on this very surreal and challenging year and tries to find some mirth, merriment, positive energy and joy to refill his (and our) hope tanks. Chauncey taps into the joy of childhood nostalgia and a longing for a simpler time as he looks through store catalogues from the 1980s in search of his favorite Transformers and G.I. Joe toys, and then calculates how much they would cost in today's dollars. Chauncey soon realizes he likely would have been the parent telling the kids, "Hell no!" Disney, the WWE, and other entertainment companies have announced that they will be using AI programs to "assist" in their creative process. In the spirit of embracing the future, Chauncey DeVega asks an AI to write a Christmas-themed crossover mega-event movie featuring Star Wars, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, James Gunn's version of Superman, Santa Claus, Frosty the Snowman, and Krampus. The results are "troubling" for what they suggest about the present and future of mass media in the 21st century and beyond.   This year's Christmas and holiday season are a painful reminder that the collapse of American democracy in the Age of Trump is also an extreme moral crisis, touching almost every aspect of American society and life. To that point, Chauncey shares a recent news story about how ICE has enlisted "Santa Claus" — equipped with a red bulletproof vest and handcuffs — to assist in its mass deportation campaign.    WHERE CAN YOU FIND ME? DING DONG MERRILY ON HIGH! MAYBE TOO HIGH? JAMES GONIS, SHAWN SHERIDAN, LARRY STROTHE, and MATT WEINHOLD toast and roast the seasonal cinematic chestnuts that have been served to genre fans over the years. Not even The Grinch can stop… OVERRATED & UNDERRATED: THE HOLIDAY EDITION! Every holiday season, we Monster Partiers celebrate with an expansive and diverse playlist of winter wonder films. Whether made for film or TV, the entertainment industry has not been shy in churning out a Santa's sleigh-bag of holiday-themed horror, sci-fi, and fantasy fare. Ranging from beloved animated TV specials like Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, and A Charlie Brown Christmas, to Christmas classics like It's A Wonderful Life, March of The Wooden Soldiers, and White Christmas, and even offbeat and often controversial viewing like Silent Night Deadly Night, Gremlins, Fatman, The Thing, and Batman Returns, it's relatively safe to say that there's something for every taste. But are all these so-called classics as good as everyone thinks? And should some films and TV specials have a better reputation than they currently hold? Whatever your opinions, we guarantee that this episode will present challenging arguments that only MONSTER PARTY could inflict. Joining us for this canticle of criticism is a long-time friend of MONSTER PARTY, and our answer to Kris Kringle. He's a brilliantly talented comedian, actor, writer, producer, and podcaster, who has worked on or created such genre-friendly projects as THE SIMPSONS, SUPER ADVENTURE TEAM, THE GEX TRILOGY, TED, CREEPSHOW: THE SERIES, TALES OF HALLOWEEN, STAN AGAINST EVIL, and HANGING WITH DOCTOR Z. Please welcome back, the Christmas miracle that is… DANA GOULD! HAPPY HOLIDAYS, MONSTER PARTIERS! AND HAVE A CUP OF EGG NOG, IF ONLY TO ANNOY LARRY.

It's our annual holiday spectacular! And once again we're talking about old Christmas cartoons, because that's all we care about. But this time, we're looking at a couple of cartoons we've never discussed on the show before, and they're both based on classic comic strips. (They're also both on YouTube, if you want to play along.) From 1979, A Family Circus Christmas features a ghost Santa, a candy cane farm in the clouds, a busty mom, and plenty of crazy jazz flute. And from 1982, Ziggy's Gift features the scrawny tree from Charlie Brown Christmas, the Irish cop from Frosty the Snowman, a creepy gray guy, and a million screaming turkeys. Both are magnificent. Also: A glitter bomb Christmas card from Panda! A Manos: The Hands of Fate Christmas card from Jacob! A lost Ziggy pencil sharpener! A lost TV show described as "Mission Impossible meets The Love Boat"! And the Mighty Morphin Figgy Pudding Pages! So please throw up the sash, turn with a jerk, and enjoy. The Flopcast website! Welcome back to Scene Missing, the show where we dig past the highlight reels and get into the real story. This time, Gabriel Hardman, Ian Brill, and I take a hard, unsentimental look at the career of Burl Ives—a performer whose legacy is far bigger, messier, and more complicated than the warm baritone most people remember. We start with the role that earned him Hollywood's highest honor: his Oscar-winning turn as Rufus Hannassey in The Big Country, opposite Gregory Peck, Jean Simmons, and Charlton Heston—a performance that weaponized charm into something quietly menacing. From there, we contrast it with the brutal, snowbound moral reckoning of Day of the Outlaw, where Ives delivers one of the coldest outlaw portrayals ever put on film. We also explore his unexpected presence in prestige drama, including Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, sharing the screen with Paul Newman and Elizabeth Taylor, and how his earthy gravitas grounded Tennessee Williams' overheated world. On television, we revisit his folksy patriarch on O.K. Crackerby!, his later dramatic turn on The Bold Ones: The Lawyers, and how TV both extended and softened his public image. And yes—we absolutely talk about the role that permanently etched him into pop culture: the voice of Sam the Snowman in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, a performance so comforting it practically erased the edge of the man behind it.But we don't stop at acting. Ives' massive influence as a folk singer is front and center—from “Blue Tail Fly” to “Big Rock Candy Mountain”—along with the career-altering moment that still sparks controversy: his testimony before the House Un-American Activities Committee, where he named names, including Pete Seeger, reshaping both of their legacies in opposite directions. This isn't a tribute. It's an honest conversation about talent, ambition, fear, and compromise—and how one man could be a beloved storyteller, a terrifying screen presence, and a cautionary tale all at once.
