Bat Country welcomes Rachel Welles, Zane Stroud, Danny K, Christine, Col Col and Corey Tam to talk about 2010 as a film year. Join us on our magical boxing day drunken journey.

An industry professional all the way from L.A. by the name of Josh Aufrance joins Paul in Bat Country to tell us a tiny bit about his work, and they both shoot the shit about Sigur Ros' documentary Heima, New York I Love You and the recent John Lennon biopic Nowhere Boy. Enjoy!

As it's been forever since we recorded a podcast, here's a tiny little prelude to the main event. Paul is joined by his housemate and close friend Zane, and they shoot the shit having just had a jolly good drink and finally watched Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. Not entirely cohesive nor edited, you'll hear the dog, ice clinking in glasses, and two drunks talking about the film about a comic book that is ultimately about video games and films. Enjoy.

If we were Christian we'd say the best trilogy on Earth was God, Jesus and the Holy Ghost. But since we're film fans and not of any particular religious persuasion, we mull over the idea of what the best trilogies in movie land are, for us. We also have some updates about some pretty sweet upcoming films to watch out for...so have a listen to what we've got to offer after our months worth of a hiatus. That's right...the bitches are back.

After a little bit of a hiatus, the boys are back in town! We go off on one about two of the summers blockbusters, Inception and Toy Story 3 before realising that we don't agree for once and are likely to throw down some shapes. And sizes. In a variety of colours. Think crayola...if they were retarded. We also reminisce about childhoods, argue about what dreams usually entail and why hype is bullshit. Oh and plenty of Joseph Gordon Levitt man love.

This week we're taking a look at one of Hong Kong's funniest men, Stephen Chow. We're also admiring Edward Norton in Leaves of Grass, swilling around in our mouths Ben Stiller in Greenberg, discussing 3DTV and Cinema, and lastly we're apologising for a mixup with release dates of Inception. Episode 2 is here! So sorry for the delay but with the World Cup, various other engagements and other adult-type-things that take up our attentions (think jobs, dinners and shoe polishings) we've been a bit behind schedule, so please, forget using knives and forks or napkins, just dig in! This time round we chew the fat over a few upcoming local and international films that have caught our eye, and we'll be profiling a legend of Hong Kong action cinema - John Woo - as well discussion of some recently digested morsels of film. The Introduction Episode is a lie! Well, we had some technical problems but i think it's all sorted now!
