Kids spend more time online than ever, and for the most part it feels normal. They're gaming, watching videos, and chatting with friends. But hidden in those same spaces are adults who know how to pose as kids, build trust, and push conversations into dangerous territory. Parents might think it couldn't happen to their child, yet detectives see how quickly an “innocent” interaction can turn into grooming or extortion. That's the world Detective Seth Cockerham works in every day. He's been in law enforcement in Texas for close to a decade, and the last few years have been dedicated to investigating crimes against children. He talks about these cases with both the eye of an investigator and the heart of a parent, because he knows what it's like to raise kids in a world where technology isn't going away. Seth explains how predators move kids off kid-friendly apps into spaces parents can't easily monitor, what behaviors should make families pay attention, and why kids often keep things to themselves. He also shares what has worked in his own home like parental control tools, early conversations about boundaries, and making sure his daughters know they can come to him about anything. At the end of the day, his message is simple: if your child says something feels wrong, take it seriously. Jedd Fisch's Washington Huskies suffered their first loss of the 2025 season against the Ohio State Buckeyes last week. Now, the Dawgs look ahead to their first road conference game of the year against the Maryland Terrapins. Jack and Luke do the same! The former interns assign letter grades to Washington's performance against Ryan Day's defending national champions. Believe it or not, the duo was in relative unison. Afterwards, Jack and Luke identify two storylines each that intrigue them about the upcoming matchup between the Dawgs and the Terps. A couple of the threads identify include Maryland's struggles on the ground this year and Washington's failure to win a road conference game under the current regime. Then, they each pick their Bets to Bark for the upcoming game - highlighting a player from each side of the ball they believe will have a strong performance on Saturday. Prior to this weekend's momentous tilt, Jack McCauley and Luke Mounger sync up to break it all down. The former interns begin by taking a look at Washington's 59-24 win over Washington State in Pullman last weekend. Both assign letter grades to the overall performance, share what they believe went well and discuss some areas for improvement. Afterwards, the duo share a couple of storylines each they are looking forward to seeing play out on Saturday at 12:30 PM local time at Husky Stadium. There were plenty of topics to choose from, including Ohio State freshman starting quarterback Julian Sayin making his first road start at The Greatest Setting in College Football, as well as Ohio State's talented playmakers potentially taking on an injury-depleted Washington defense.
