This podcast started off on 12/20 as a solo project.  What I quickly discovered is that I didn't like feeling like I was talking to myself, so on  03/27/21, I've decided to switch it up. I found what better suited me with how I wanted to open the line of expression, not only for me but others.  The Chronicles of a Black Sheep is a platform that talk about things that are considered Taboo in the black community. It is a place where you can learn, share, and comment on every subject. No subject is off limits. We boldly acknowledge and confront stereotypes, bias faced by black community T.Y.F.Y.S

In this episode, T.K., D.A. Dee-J, and House Therapist Larneka Lavalais, LPC, PLLC, pull back the curtain on a topic most people avoid but everyone is affected by: toxic behavior. From the subtle patterns we normalize to the loud dysfunction we excuse, this conversation digs into the roots, the impact, and the uncomfortable truth—sometimes the toxicity isn't just around us, it's within us.Together, they explore: - How toxic behaviors are formed and passed down - Why certain behaviors feel “normal” even when they're harmful - The difference between being toxic and being triggered - How to recognize your own patterns without shame - What accountability and healing actually look like - Why Black families and Black communities often struggle to name toxicity - How to break cycles without losing yourself in the process This episode is raw, reflective, and rooted in real therapeutic insight. T.K. brings the honesty. Larneka brings the clinical clarity. And together, they create a space where listeners can confront hard truths without judgment. For anyone ready to stop surviving dysfunction and start choosing healthier relationships—with others and with themselves—this conversation is your wake‑up call.

This week, TK and Dee, guest co‑host Naeee dive straight into the uncomfortable truth many of us avoid: Are “bad daters” born… or did somebody help build them? Together, they unpack the messy layers of modern dating — the patterns we ignore, the behaviors we excuse, and the emotional shortcuts that turn into long‑term damage. This episode challenges listeners to look at dating through a lens of accountability, not blame.TK and Naeee explore: How our choices shape the people we date. Whether we're healing partners or enabling them, the difference between teaching someone love and raising them emotionally. Why do some people leave relationships worse than they entered? How unhealed habits get passed from person to person, and the real question: Are we victims of bad dating… or contributors to it?It's honest. It's layered. It's culturally real. And with Naeee in the mix, the conversation hits even deeper — blending humor, truth, and the kind of clarity that makes you rethink your dating history. If you've ever said “dating is trash,” this episode asks you to consider whether we're throwing the trash out… or recycling it.
