"I See You" Led by the Bay Area born Destani Wolf, Destani's Piece is a sonic healing project whose compositions are lush and layered affairs, boasting rich textures that conjure vast heavenly landscapes. Filled with dreamy musical nuances--like rolling angelic harps, harmonic pianos and Wolf's otherworldly vocals, the music of Destani's Piece is reflective and meditative and each composition serves as a balm for a world, that, let's face it, can be a bit raw. The Grammy-nominated Wolf has emerged as a brilliant sonic architect and this music is restorative, comforting and healing. As for Wolf, she's been in the game since she was 15 and found herself playing live at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco. Since then, she's been packing her resume' with achievement after achievement. Her voice has been heard on over forty albums, and she's worked with everyone from John Cale to Bobby McFerrin to The Pharcyde. You've heard her on video games like Call of Duty, soundtracks like Disney's The Descendents, Kevin Hart's Laugh At My Pain and Fox's So You Think You Can Dance. She's traveled the globe singing for Cirque du Soleil, is a current member of Bobby McFerrin's MOTION and she collaborates and tours with the Bandaloop Aerial Dance Company. Keep in mind, this is just a partial list. But you get the idea. As I'm writing this, I'm listening to some lofi hip hop beats (The Spacebreaks Vol. 1-2 [Full BeatTape]). I'm chilled. I'm relaxed and I feel good. I'm in the living room/kitchen with my house mates - everyone looks happy. We're laughing about different things, some are on their phones, some are watching Liverpool FC on tv, I am smiling at my laptop screen... Because I am actually seriously writing this - where do we go from here? Well this is part of reason why I created this platform, so I can express myself to myself and whoever is interested enough to watch/read/listen. (This is my method of enhancing my confidence, self belief and self love). I still get super nervous before uploading a new episode, perhaps that's why we're on episode 12 after a year, oh well, we move. Things can only get better, I'm sure.  This episode is about just that, things getting better, regardless of how dark times are. Sometimes the best thing we can do is laugh at our pain. My guest shares a lot about her "dark experiences" and "painful thoughts", she says "no matter how you feel, it's always fleeting... you can acknowledge that you're hurt but you don't have to feel the pain". Hence the reason you'll hear her sweet nerves laugh after she describes one of her tragic episode. My guest is a strong mixed race women (she doesn't want to be tagged) but she does want to share her story, which I think is cool. I encourage it. I am a 100% myself on this platform, so that my beautiful guests can share freely and with comfort. I'll add that my guest has changed my mentality and attitude towards life, through her stories and I appreciate her for that. Big Love, ET.

In the latest episode of the Self Care Series, host Zach Grossfeld explores the recent controversy with Kevin Hart and The Oscars Committee, Hart's jokes on homosexuality, and the current state of comedy. We started the Self Care Series in honor of the late Mac Miller as a way to explore mental, physical, and emotional well-being. Comedy can be the ultimate cure for pulling through the darkest of times, and laughter combines all three aspects of Self Care: the physical, the mental, and the emotional. Should certain topics be off limits for comics? Who decides what we can and cannot find funny? How does laughter tie into morality? We are only one voice in a sea of opinions and we would love to hear your thoughts on a force that connects us all: comedy. KEVIN HART After an electrifying performance at amateur night in a Philadelphia comedy club, Kevin quit his shoe salesman job and began performing full time. However, it was his first appearance at the Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival that led Hart into roles in feature films. In 2009, Hart’s one-hour Comedy Central special, “I’m A Grown Little Man,” became one of the highest rated specials for the network and in 2010, Hart’s DVD “Seriously...Funny” was one of the fastest selling DVDs, going triple Platinum, aided by the Comedy Central special of the same name, which was the highest rated comedy special of 2010. In 2011 Hart released “Laugh At My Pain” the feature film version of his comedy tour, which grossed over $7 million and was 2011’s most successful film of those released in less than 300 theaters, catapulted Hart’s to the number one comedian on Ticketmaster, and helping him to sell out the Nokia Theater for two nights in a row, breaking the record previously set by Eddie Murphy. This lead to the LAMP DVD hitting double platinum in February 2012, after being on sale for only a month. His next comedy tour, “Let Me Explain” took him to 90 American cities along with Europe and Africa - resulting in him becoming the second American in history to sell out London’s O2 Arena. Hart spent most of the rest of the year filming two movies back to back (“About Last Night” and “Ride Along”). Additionally, Kevin starred in huge blockbusters like “Barbershop,” “Undeclared,” “Little Fockers,” "Death at a Funeral," "Fool’s Gold," Steve Harvey’s “Think Like A Man,” and “Judd Apatow’s “Five Year Engagement” and "The 40 Year-Old Virgin." Hart then embarked on the multi-city domestic and international “What Now?” comedy tour. Domestically, he sold out 8 tri-state area arenas, including Madison Square Garden, Barclays, Prudential Center and Jones Beach, selling over 100,000 tickets in the NY market. Internationally, he sold out over a dozen arenas in the European market, selling over 150,000 tickets, and sold out arenas across Australia, selling 100,000 tickets. All in all, Hart’s hit comedy tour grossed over $ 100 million worldwide. Hart’s recent movie projects include the biggest grossing live action comedy “Central Intelligence,” “Ride Along 2,” “The Wedding Ringer,” and “Get Hard.” The consummate worker, Hart is also a force in television, executive producing the show, Real Husbands of Hollywood which just wrapped production on Season 5. Hart’s recent movie projects include the biggest grossing live action comedy “Central Intelligence,” “Ride Along 2,” “The Wedding Ringer,” “Get Hard,” the animated film "The Secret Life of Pets," Universal Pictures will release the feature version of his comedy tour “What Now” (coming out in this month—October 14th, 2016), documenting how he was the first comedian to sell out an NFL stadium, selling over 50,000 tickets in one show.
