Heeeey wassup everyone! Track Walk is back this week! Apologies for our crazy release schedule, we should be back on track this next week with both shows. This week was a healthy split of tackling the review of the new DRIVEN episode from RCGP and listener questions. In the middle, we follow up our episode review with asking what we can do to make RC better? Huge thank you to everyone listening, and our Patreon specifically for your continued support! - https://www.patreon.com/TrackWalkRCPodcast We are also running a sale on our Merch Store! Hey everyone! Sorry for the delay, I have been insanely busy, I didn't even get a chance to throw the intro on! Don't worry though, 54 is going down tonight and it's gonna be rad! This awesome show however is with Pro-Line/Protoform's Eric Epp, who is responsible for most of the body designs available from them today. Our interview with Eric was incredibly fun and insightful and a huge thank you to him for spending time with us!
Hey everyone! We are here this week on a bit of a tight schedule, so we talked some NCT topics ahead of the upcoming round of the series. We didn't get much into NCT current events as much as we fielded questions regarding NCTs, especially around novice/inexperienced drivers. It was a short, but fun and wholesome episode and we are delighted to bring it your way. As mentioned in the show, please help out NORA/Skagit River Raceway by purchasing your 2020 membership. Even though we couldn't have a season, that money goes a long way to cover costs for the club just existing, so it would be greatly appreciated. We have a fellow racer on need down in Oregon. Someone has organized a GoFundMe for Leighton and our thoughts are with him and everyone else affected by the fire crisis. https://www.paypal.com/donate/?token=JdeEH4icZG97rjoOWhBr655ZbsC4eWKStF3VzNGXIS-v1rVHeQfAUKNafuGKx17TwLw9LVpa7mLjtG-n&fromUL=true&country.x=US&locale.x=en_US

Hey everyone! We are here this week with our most ambitious endeavor yet! Track Walk is back this week joined by Jay Kendall and Adam Dean (That Scale RC Show), and Tim Smith and Matt Howson (TSR Speedshop Podcast, MBM Podcast). They were only able to join us for the first half of the episode but we still had an awesome time. Huge thank you to our fellow podcasters for joining us!

Here it is! We're back to kick off a brand new week. And you're gonna get two episodes in one week! We decided to make another entry into our After Dark collection this weekend. Just like the last one, this one is not family friendly and there are plenty of expletives used, so please keep this in mind if you are a younger listener, this episode is not for you. This After Dark however was much more serious topically. Travis kicks the show off with a rant and call to action for members of the RC community, and we are joined after the break by Keenan White (AKA Lefty the Great) of the No Name RC Podcast, and we had an awesome time talking about RC as a whole, as well as getting into some history and geopolitics. Huge thank you to Keenan for coming on and spending his late evening/ early morning with us! Regardless of it being an After Dark, I hope the messages conveyed in this episode hit home with many of you. We want to see RC not only survive but also become better. We'll be back later this week with an exciting guest! See you then!
Hey everyone! We are back this week with 2003 2wd World Champion and current Serpent offroad vehicle designer Billy Easton. We got to talking about his start in RC, the road it took him to become a sponsored driver, let alone earn a WC. He also shares his take on sponsored minors in the industry and what we should really expect of them. Prior to the interview- We discuss our No Prep Drag test & tune at Diehard, the PNW Street Kings Cash Race over Memorial Day weekend, and detail starting up a new RC scene in response to a listener question. Thank you everyone for your continued support through these times! We do our best to continue to bring you great content! A special thank you to those of you who send a couple bucks our way and support us on Patreon. Hey everyone! This week we went live spur of the moment and talked about TLR's new structure, our thoughts on what racing might look like. We had some recording issues so we had to pick this one up a couple minutes in but otherwise we have a fun episode for you in case you couldn't be there live to hear it!
What's up guys! We invited Keenan White (JQ Racing/The No Name RC Podcast)to come back on to our show this week just to bench race a bit, talk pro drivers and social media, and much more! We always have a lot of fun hanging out with Keenan so we are confident you'll enjoy this one. During this time we are making it a point to continue to bring you content to keep you engaged until we can get out to the track or trail again. However as you can imagine, it can be difficult for us to have topics and guests that we know you want to hear. If you have anything you want us to discuss, or guests you think we should have on, please reach out! Wanna get early access to shows and get discounts on merch? Thank you Joe for joining us! Thank you everyone for continuing to join us! RC is away right now but we are doing our best to continue to bring you guys fresh and frequent content. Since this was another quiet week in RC, we sat down to talk about some Mega Trucks, and primarily answer the Facebook questions we received going into this week. I had not realized there were comments on our Instagram as well so we'll add those in to Episode 41 next week. Hey everyone! This week we brought something pretty different. I want to preface this with the issue of this episode is NOT intended to be listened to by kids or those who would like family friendly content. There was some uncertainty as to if we should even release it or have it become another addition to the vault. This episode we got pretty loose and really just wanted to make it as entertaining as possible since we know the world is kind of a crazy place and the negativity online is affecting everyone in different ways. We had a lot of fun, and we ask you to open your minds a bit and get loose and get ready to smile and laugh because this was nearly FIVE HOURS long, and it went that long for a reason. The topics were all over the place this week, so no timestamps for this one. About an hour in we call Jay Kendall from That Scale RC Show and SOR RC, and we get into all sorts of stuff regarding tough trucks, RCGP, you name it we might have talked about it. If you would like to go the extra mile and support us on Patreon, follow the link below! https://www.patreon.com/TrackWalkRC?fan_landing=true Track Walk merch is available via our Teespring store: https://teespring.com/stores/track-walk-rc-shop Appreciate the support everyone! And know that we are trying to have fun, just like you, and are doing our best to bring content during this time. See ya!
We finally did it! Track Walk has made it one whole year! It's been an awesome ride thus far and we can't wait for more! This week Travis and Colin react and respond to some JQ claims, Travis talks about his Air Force experience and how it correlates with mental health during your quarantine, and we do our first ever call-ins to the Track Walk RC Podcast! We did not get as much participation as we had hoped but we still appreciate everyone who set some time aside to give us a call! 0:00 Intro/Quarantine Thoughts 1:07:00 Painkiller - Judas Priest (Trav's Pick) 1:13:14 Call-ins Want to go the extra mile and support us on Patreon? We will be back next week with Adam Drake (as we poorly hinted at a bunch this show) and will do a much more substantive recap of the Holiday Hangover on that show. Hey everyone! This week we are joined by Kevin Focht, the man behind PDX RC Underground. We had an awesome chat about his time in RC, the lead up to his track, and we all debated on some topics that are prevalent in the world of 1/10 scale currently. A huge thank you to Kevin for coming on and being a part of one of our best episodes yet. This episode will more than likely push us over the 10,000 listen mark! Please watch our Facebook page as we are going to be sharing the details of a giveaway soon for some Track Walk swag! Hope everyone enjoyed the fun! We'll be back next week with episode 34 with the guys from 1Army! Have a great week!
Hey y'all! Episode 32 is done and released! This week we had a little different of a setup as we spoke to Justin Wilde from WildeEvents to talk about the upcoming Holiday Hangover and our main guest being Shane Borden, who we had a long and awesome talk with. We had some connection issues which is why there's a sudden audio quality change late in the show, but it was great nonetheless. 0:00 Intro/Facebook Questions/Diehard RC University 24:35 Break 1 - Judas Priest: No Surrender (Trav's Pick) 27:27 Holiday Hangover Preview with Justin Wilde from WildeEvents 1:21:35 Break 2 - AC/DC: It's a Long Way To The Top (Colin's Pick) 1:26:43 Main Guest Interview - Shane Borden Wanna get episodes earlier? What's up everybody!! We're back with the first ever crossover with That Scale RC Show with special guest Tim Smith from the TSR Speedshop Podcast. This week we touch heavily on the drag racing explosion, no prep in particular. This episode was shorter given the amount of people involved but we had a lot of fun talking about all aspects of RC, answering questions, and bantering with each other. Episode 31 we will cover the Winter Rage and Northwest Model Hobby Expo Rug Champs. What's up everyone! Happy Friday! This episode was supposed to be released last week as we obviously reference in the intro, but I ended up moving at the end of the week so there was no time found for editing. We had some weird audio issues with this show, I did my best to edit a lot of the weirdness out (it goes away pretty much after the first five-ish minutes) which were largely do to our call connection and a setting change I made that ended up not working so well. I actually almost scrapped it, but here it is now done and complete. This week we talk about improving yourself as a racer from both the physical and mental sides of RC. 1:00 - Diehard RC University: We called up RCU's own Elliott Chappel to discuss the RCU topic of the week and he hangs around for our listener questions. 1:45 - Let it Out: We added a new segment to the show this week basically as a platform for some of our more negative and controversial topics to keep those things from flooding the episode. I ended up deleting my part of the segment but Colin brought up some great things I felt we needed to have out there publicly. Huge thank you to our listeners and an extra thank you for those who donate to our Patreon! I can't wait to show y'all the sweet stuff we have planned this year thanks to your contributions. https://www.patreon.com/join/TrackWalkRC Here's the link to the GoFundMe for Randy Sides: https://www.gofundme.com/f/keenan-white-paqui-chip-challenge?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet&fbclid=IwAR0UVJQJ0j3t4lBXrccRsEL-5Ucn8nKhbsBwjC8Tti92bXYpd129YJiQ2dc
Wazzup everyone! We're back for the first show of 2020! Colin and I sit down for a more structured show (sometimes lol) and break down 2019, talk about what we are excited to see in 2020, highlight upcoming races and recap Northwest Silly Season since we didn't cover it in December. It was a long one but we had a great time doing it! We know there are a few weird audio moments, sorry about that! We're always working to improve those things and sometimes they're beyond fixing. Normally we'd see an early release for our Patreon listeners but for the first show of the new year we thought we'd uncork this one early since we were so excited to get it out! This show was supposed to be released on the 17th, hence some of the references in the episode. Below is the Link to Randy Sides' Go Fund Me for his Cancer Battle: https://www.gofundme.com/f/keenan-white-paqui-chip-challenge?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet&fbclid=IwAR0C5xZWAl_xnosT7nTDmWRP7udjsdufTUNWngVILPTg2GvzvZkCGe0HjZk We also introduced a new segment this week: Diehard RC presents RC University! In this segment we touch on tips and tricks to aid sportsman racers in their mission to get faster! What's up everyone! So this week we had a last minute change of plans as we couldn't record with our planned guest so we put together a quick emergency podcast for you all! This episode is very different. It is a lot more casual, and not really an interview as much as a discussion as we primarily cover the upcoming showing of Diehard RC at the 2020 NW Model Hobby Expo. We were pretty loose with this episode and had a great time and hope you all do too! Thank you to Brett Wilson, Jay Kendall, and Tyler Wilbur for making the time for us last minute and making this a blast to record and a nightmare to edit! This won't be the only one :) Thank you listeners for your support! We will be back again next week!
Hi everyone! Apologies for the late release, Trav was sick so it cooked a little longer than normal. This week we had the legendary Keith Hadley on track and had an absolute blast talking to him. We thank Keith for making the time to come talk to us! See everyone next week!
What is up everyone! Happy Thanksgiving! We're back this week with episode 25! This week we talked to Justin Wilde about his time in RC and his perspective of racing and event topics from the RD booth perspective. We had an awesome time chatting with Justin and cannot wait to have him back on! Here is the link for the Focus RC GoFundMe: https://www.gofundme.com/f/rebuild-focusrc?utm_source=customer&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_campaign=p_cf+share-flow-1&fbclid=IwAR1UuyXpMf9qpMIWRuRGUjrjAIOwWdkOXB_7slO9XgNVv8fWkPvE1mBc1ys Follow Track Walk and WildeEvents on Facebook to stay up to date with news and events in the Northwest! Thank you everyone for supporting what we do and making it fun for us!
What up Track Walkers! We're back for episode #24 with a new addition to the Young Guns Saga! This week we talked to Brenden and Dylan Bartlett, Ashon Bristol, and Marcus Ramirez and get to know the future stars of the hobby better! Apologies for some of the audio quality in spots. We recorded everything at so many different times life happens so perfectly quiet backgrounds are hard to come by all week long! Below is the link to the GoFundMe for Focus RC. Yes Colin had to remind Travis so he didn't forget. https://www.gofundme.com/f/rebuild-focusrc?utm_source=customer&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_campaign=p_cf+share-flow-1 See everyone next week!
What's up! We're back with Episode #23 of the Track Walk Podcast! This week we talk about our 2020 plans, Diehard RC and their recent success with their Veteran's Day race and what we look forward to going forward with silly season and indoor racing! We're stoked to be back bringing you content, so make sure you stay with us on here and with us on Facebook because Track Walk is going to be bringing you an awesome 2020! So stay tuned to see what we have in store. Make sure you guys also come to our Facebook for our listener questions so we can get you mentioned on the show. Happy Racing!
Welcome back Track Walkers! After a short break and many frustrating hours trying to get this all put together, we have Episode 22! In this episode, Colin and Jeff discuss RCGP, Fallout, and a little bit about the beginning of Silly Season.
Hi guys! Sorry for the late release! Our guest recorded his own audio this week so we took a little extra time to get it right and make it sound as good as possible! This week we had Kyle Johnson on from the Vegas area who has been traveling up to the NCTs to come race with us, so we get a little more insight as to why. This week we also preview the upcoming NCT finale in Yakima at Playground RC so we take a look at the points battles that are ensuing. Thank you to Kyle for coming on this week and setting the time aside for us to go above and beyond with your equipment! It was a lot of fun! See you all soon!
What's up! We're back this week with Tony Newland from Klinik and Action Distribution! We get to know Tony a bit and we talk about him bringing LRP back to the states! We also touch on RCGP a little and Jeff eats some really good cheesecake! Thank you everyone for the support. 20 episodes in and over 4000 listens! You guys rock! See you next week! What is up everyone! We're back this week with a quartet of awesome guests to kick off our Young Guns of the Northwest series! This week we spoke to Charlie Adams, Chuck Harris and his son Chuck Harris Jr., and reigning ROAR Region 11 Junior Nitro Buggy Champion Derek Mesa! These are some fast dudes and are amazing on the track but are even more amazing off it! We had an awesome time talking to everyone and wish we had more time for them all! Huge thanks to all of them for making time for our little show! This series will get more episodes over time so don't worry! Happy Labor Day Everyone! We're back this week to break down the Burlington round of the Northwest Championship Tour, and also talk about bias in the industry with tracks and organizations, as well as RCGP and everyone's favorite topic, JQ! This was a fun one for us though and we know it was a longer one than we prefer but we had a lot we wanted to talk about this week! This episode we also mention that the following episode will be our special on the future of our hobby in the Northwest by bringing on a couple of individuals who are making a mark in our area as of late! Make sure you all get your suggestions in to us! As mentioned in the episode, it doesn't guarantee that we will bring them on but regardless we would like to know! Thank you everyone for your support as always and we love hearing every week at races about how much you guys like the show! Maker sure you are following Track Walk on Facebook if you want updates on episodes, guests, and engage in polls and our listener questions! New episodes every Monday!
Hey All! We're back this week and stoked to introduce to you Jeff Keeton as the new addition to the Track Walk team. Hey guys! We are back with episode 16 of the podcast! Colin and Travis touch on a wide variety of topics this week from a feel good story for the NW community, to bringing fast guys from outside the region to racing here in the Northwest. Hi guys! We're back with an extra special, extra LONG episode with none other than the famous Jeff Keeton! Jeff provides his outlook on the RC industry and we debate on how to grow the hobby. Jeff also provides us with a Track Walk Exclusive Rant! Travis was out most of this episode due to being down with Mono but was able to join later on as this was recorded over two nights. Finally finished, we're super stoked to bring this episode to you and cannot wait to hear what you think! See you guys next Monday!
