Trinity Church Weekend Message

Revelation 7 serves as an interlude between the sixth and seventh seals. It forces us to ask: "who is able to stand?" The answer is those who accept Christ. As we look at the Little Scroll, Pastor Ed challenges us to examine if we're truly ready for Christ's coming. Are our loved ones, friends, and neighbors ready? We have all the time in the world to share the Gospel; the problem is, none of us really knows just how much time the world has. This moment is the only thing we can be sure of.

In this third message through 2 Peter, Pastor Dehric lays out the characters of false teachers that we need to be on the look out for in the church. We should always test what we hear against the Word of God and bring those who have fallen back into the Truth.

In this message, Pastor Dehric presents several amazing truths about the Word of God and why it is living and active in our lives. The Word will outlive all men, outlast all experiences, outshine all darkness, and the list goes on.

The theme of Revelation 17 is found in verse one, when one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and said to John, "Come, I will show you the punishment of the great prostitute."

The first four judgments were directed at the earth's ecology. The last three judgments are directed towards man himself. In this message, Pastor Ed discusses these final three judgments designed to focus man's attention on God. Does God have your attention? What is He asking you to do?

In this special Christmas Eve candlelight service, we see the significance of a few of the names of God as we celebrate the birth of Jesus!

Jesus taught us to practice humility, but what does Biblical humility really look like? In this message, Pastor Dehric talks about the Nazarene, Jesus, who fulfilled prophecy by humbling himself and coming to this earth, and how we should imitate His humility.

The Tribulation Judgments can be categorized into three major divisions: the Seven-Sealed Scroll of God, the Seven Trumpets of God, and the Seven Bowls of God's Wrath. In this message, Pastor Ed discusses the evangelistic activities of the Tribulation period which are laid out in chapter seven, and the Redeemed of the Tribulation.

In Revelation, we are given an unfolding picture of a tribulation that will be the greatest this earth will ever experience. This period is God's final countdown for mankind, culminating in the return of Jesus Christ as Messiah to reclaim this earth as His own! In this message, Pastor Ed outlines what the tribulation will look like and answers the question: "how does this apply to our lives?"

Are we willing to accept Christ's way? Only when we do will we truly be able to fall down and worship Him. It is when we accept His way that our lives bring praise, honor, glory, and power to Him Who is the Worthy One of our sacrifice! In this message Pastor Ed talks about why Christ came the first time, how he'll come again, and what our lives should look like until He returns.

In this message, Pastor Ed walks us through Revelation 4 and the picture we see of the supreme command post in Heaven during the tribulation. Through this passage, we see that God is worthy of all glory, honor, thanks, and power. Will you worship God today and every day of you life and surrender your crowns to the One who is worthy?

It is easy for us to become so reliant on our worldly possessions that we forget the very reason for our existence: to proclaim Christ Jesus. As we look at the Church in Leodicea, we see a church that was at the center of wealth and pleasure, but in the midst of a … appearance, God knew their deeds and saw that they were lukewarm toward Him.

If we are willing to step outside our comfort zone and share the Good News of Jesus, He will provide opportunities. As we study the missionary-minded church at Philadelphia, we see how Jesus presents himself as the One who opens doors of evangelistic opportunity where and when He chooses. In this message, Pastor Dehric challenges us to examine how we're reaching the world around us with the Gospel as he encourages us to think of every heart without Christ as a mission field and every heart with Christ as a missionary.

The church in Sardis was a dead church in need of filling by the Holy Spirit. They showed no evidence of the Spirit's empowering, guiding, teaching, or equipping. In this message, Pastor Dehric explores the letter to the church that was once spiritually vibrant, but needed to be revived.

The church at Thyatira was growing in their love of Christ, their deeds and service to Him, and their faith and perseverance in Him, however, Christ can see through the counterfeit. Despite their growth, they allowed immorality to seep into the church and committed a spiritual adultery, leaving their Bridegroom, Christ Himself. In this message, Pastor Ed asks the question, will you be found faithful at His coming?

In this message, we look at the compromising church of Pergamos and slippery slope of compromise. Despite this, we are reminded of Christ's sufficiency and forgiveness to us in this letter.

There is not one word of rebuke in the letter to the church in Smyrna. As we look at this persecuted church, we see the faithfulness to Christ suffering in His name usually produces.

Are you following after Christ as fervently as you did when you first came to faith in Jesus, or have you left your first Love? As we begin to go through the letters to the seven churches found in Revelation, Pastor Ed starts with the church in Ephesus and the commendation, rebuke, and exhortation, and promise they received.
