In this episode Josh and Nate look at Revelation 15 and 16 as they discuss the Bowl Judgments that come upon the earth.
One of the many fun things about making this podcast is going from "this is cool!" (ironically) to "yo, this is pretty sick actually" (sincere), so it should be no surprise that breaking down the context around the creation of Revelation and the timeline of the Tribulation judgments was really fun to dig into. The start of this episode is a look into the actual book of Revelation and the history that led to its writing, along with necessary context to help ground this wild and weird book. Then, we enter the Final Terrible Week of The Lord and break down the Seal, Trumpet, and Bowl Judgments that have either already affected our heroes, or will be thrown at them soon. Things are about to get extremely unchill for the Tribulation Force and I cannot wait to talk about it when we get deeper into the series. Even if some of the judgments are repeats... (Really, God? Three earthquakes??)This episode would not have possible without the fine folks over at patreon.com/contenthole. Pastor John Bingham - The Time is at Hand - Revelation 16
BOOK OF REVELATION Lesson 34 – Cha pter 16 Revelation chapter 16 is highly emotional, drenched in drama, and utterly terrifying in its prophecy of what lies ahead. It speaks primarily in terms of the 7 so-called Bowl Judgments being poured out on the earth, aimed mostly at rebellious and unrepentant mankind. In order for […] The post Lesson 34 – Revelation 16 appeared first on Torah Class.

BOOK OF REVELATION Lesson 35 – Cha pter 16 Continued As we continue to examine Revelation chapter 16 today, we find that through the first 9 verses, 4 of the Bowl Judgments have been announced and poured out. These "Bowl Judgments" in Revelation are the most catastrophic in a series of awful judgments brought about on the face of the earth just prior to Christ's return. Web: www.mondayafternoontheologians.podia.com

This week, we continue our series on End times by discussing the judgments from the bowls of God's great wrath upon His enemies.
In this episode I discuss the intense Heatwaves, fires and erratic weather in recent years. I believe these are merely a glimpse into the Trumpet and Bowl Judgments during the tribulation period that give the sun power to scorch men. For now we continue to abide in a period of God's Grace. 220828 Sermon "Prelude to the Bowl Judgments" by WHIN Radio
We continue our exposition of Revelation by examining the first five of the bowl Judgments which mark temporal judgments during the interadvental age.
As the book of the Revelation is a book of contrasts. As we move through the book, we are taken back and forth between Heaven and the earth. We are allowed to witness scenes of joy in the heavens and we are confronted with scenes of judgment on the earth. In the heavens you see scenes of worship. On the earth, you see scenes of wrath. In this chapter we are once again taken into Heaven. In these eight verses, which comprise the shortest chapter in the Revelation, we are allowed to see a vision of Heaven as God prepares for His final judgment of the tribulation earth. There has already been great suffering as the judgment of God has been unleashed on the earth. When these judgments are poured out on the earth, they serve to increase the agony of the wicked. We want to examine John's vision today. We are given a glimpse of Heaven as it prepares for final judgment. Up to this point, God has mingled mercy and judgment. Up to this point God has been leaving the door to repentance ajar. Now humanity has made its final choice. The world has chosen Satan over God and judgment is coming. There will be no mercy. There will be no more opportunity. There will be no longsuffering or grace. There will only be judgment and the wrath of God for all those who have rejected Jesus Christ. Let's join John as he looks in on this scene of heavenly preparations.
Sunday, July 10, 2022 – Today’s message is titled “The Judgments of the Tribulation”. Before I go any further, let me quote what God does for those that read and study the book of Revelation. Revelation 1:3 Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it because the time is near. If you have been following us, you know that we have been speaking about the “end times” over the past few weeks. The main theme may appear to be God’s judgment and wrath, but if we really understand what this revelation is, it’s about redemption. God is doing everything He can to convince mankind they need to repent and come into a loving relationship with Him. And the only way to get there is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. This is important for us to know as we study today the 3 sets of Seven Judgments that are detailed in this book. There are 7 Seal Judgments, 7 Trumpet Judgments, and 7 Bowl Judgments. These are given in chronological order and increase in intensity as they are poured out. This is a longer than normal message because we are unfolding the story in one setting so that we can try our best to grasp the heart of God in these horrific judgments. Worship and study along with us as we do a deep dive into this fascinating book…

God's Wrath is Completed on Earth Today's passage reinforces something taught many times in the Bible: Earth as we've known it, degraded by sin, will cease to exist. But earth as it should have been, enlivened by God's presence, is coming! The Three Purposes of the Seven Year Tribulation: 1. Judge the satanic system that has filled the earth with sin 2. Re-gather a spiritual Israel that will be ready for Christ's rule on earth 3. Give everyone on earth several last chances to repent before it's too late You might want to picture the judgments of the seals, the trumpet, and the bowls as the bulldozer on “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” that removes what should not be there before God makes earth Paradise again. Read Revelation 15-16 God's Wrath is Completed on Earth Let's Pray! Heaven Rejoices in Anticipation of the Bowls being Poured Out 15:1-8 This great and awesome sign goes with the two signs John had seen in chapter twelve. There he saw the great sign of God's protection and dealings with Israel. He also saw the sign of the havoc Satan would cause during the last three and a half years of the tribulation. During the days of the tribulation, many people will turn to Christ and then be killed for their faith. But far from being worse off, they'll be very much alive in Heaven with God! Interestingly, Heaven doesn't seem to struggle with God's righteous judgment the way we do down here with our sinfully divided hearts! I hope you understand that the supreme attribute of God is His holiness! Every other attribute of God, including His love, is to be understood in terms of His holiness. The only proper response to His holiness is to glorify Him! God's holiness will not allow sinners to go on defiling earth. Heaven is out of the question for those who won't repent. That only leaves Hell for them, a place that only had to be for the Devil and his demons (Matthew 25:41). The Bowl Judgments are Poured Out Chapter 16 Some believe these judgments will be spread out over the last three and a half years of the tribulation. We don't know! My guess is they happen in rapid succession, right at the very end of the tribulation, before Christ comes back. We are called in this age of grace to love the sinner but hate the sin. I'm afraid too many of us love the sinner AND love the sin. May it never be! The Euphrates is a key river in the Bible. When God told Abraham and later Moses the boundaries of the Promised Land, He had the Euphrates as the Eastern border, with Babylon being on the other side of it. Behold, the day of the Lord is coming…For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem…Then the Lord will go forth and fight against those nations… -Zechariah 14:1-3 For the day of the Lord upon all the nations is near; As you have done, it shall be done to you; your reprisal shall be upon your own head. -Obadiah 1:15 “The unifying factor in all these passages is that the coming in view results in a loss for those who are not ready.” -John Walvoord, Revelation, p 238 “Every sin will be pardoned by Christ or punished in Hell, but it will never be overlooked. Nobody's sin is ever overlooked. All sin is dealt with!” -Adrian Rogers, Unveiling the End Times in Our Times, p 185

Main Point: God's patience ends and His justice is executed in the final seven bowl judgments against sinners during the tribulation period.
